Follow up on edited article

[edit]

Hi, I recently drafted an article and edited it last week. I re-accessed it today to check on the approval progress. I cannot find any indication that it's being reviewed and when I can expect further feedback. Please let me know. Wikipedia talk: Articles for creation/Youi Insurance

TrevorDev (talk) 06:33, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It was reviewed and declined on the 6th of June, you have not resubmitted it since then. I have added a References list. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 06:50, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Title of Submission: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Gauri Ayyub

I have (I believe) submitted the above article for creation by clicking on "If this submission is ready to be reviewed, click here." However, I did not see the submission-received box at the bottom of the page at first. Can you please confirm if the draft has been submitted correctly.

It is not submitted for review, please submit it again. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 06:46, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Some advice about your article submission Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/social commerce is at User talk:Anne Delong#Social Commerce. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 11:50, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

I was logged out overnight whilst trying to create this article. I couldnt then find it when logged back in, so assumed it had gone and re-wrote it.....I now see that two articles exist! Can you delete one of them..The one just submitted has the titles added to cites, so may be the better one to save.

Sorry for being an idiot!

  • The easiest way to do this is to add the text {{db-self}} (remember to include the curly braces) at the top of the article you want to delete. Once you have done this, a red "delete" box will appear on the page, which an administrator will then spot and delete the article for you. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:26, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have tagged Charles field-marsham for speedy deletion. It should be gone soon. Huon (talk) 13:31, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Help with Miroslav Bunić

[edit]

I need help with my article for living person biography. I don't know why it isn't good. Can you help me to write it on the correct way. How can I improve it? What should I do? Melissa12m (talk) 13:12, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bulleted lists of achievements and ambitions, as in your submission at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Miroslav Bunić, do not constitute an acceptable Wikipedia article. I suggest you should read Wikipedia:Your first article and WP:42. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 13:31, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Before you write an article about a living person, it's best to ask yourself a few questions. "Is this person well known enough to appear in the national news?" is one. "Will people still remember this person in 50 years time?" is another. Then gather together the news and book reports that talk about this person's life, and use the information to create an article. Never get information directly from the article's subject or anything they write about. In this case, a CV is unfortunately completely unsuitable for a Wikipedia article, so it is unlikely to ever be accepted in its current state. If you have no reliable sources like news and book coverage, you probably won't be able to create an article on this subject, I'm afraid. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:39, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How do I submit the page I just created for review? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lisaklein (talkcontribs) 16:57, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The page is correctly submitted for review - the grey box at the top is incorrect. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 18:11, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Note to reviewers: Clicking on the 'clean submission' button will fix this problem. Pol430 talk to me 22:19, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Samuel and his son and their company

I had published an article, had it approved and then had to immediately delete it for internal reasons. I would like to have a copy of what I had submitted but it's completely gone from my page. Can a copy be sent to me? MoreThanMetal (talk) 17:06, 17 June 2013 (UTC)Jennifer[reply]
