The Twenty-third Filipino Wikipedians meet-up in Metro Manila (Manila 23) was held on May 26, 2024 in Makati City, Metro Manila. It started at 12:00 PM and ended at 05:00 PM.

Pilipinas Panorama Community

The event was organized by the Pilipinas Panorama Community — a thematic Wikimedia organization based in the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Philippines.

Agenda

  • Lunch at 12:00 PM at Olive Garden in Glorietta 4 Mall, Makati City
  • GLAM-Wiki Event: Museum visit at Ayala Museum, Makati City. Visited the exhibits of (1) Diorama Experience of Philippine History and (2) Crossroads of Civilizations which includes the Gold, Textile, and Ceramics Galleries
  • PPC Board of Trustees met and shared stories with Senior Museum Curator (Head of Conservation) Kenneth Esguerra who presented "Unraveling the AIA Philippines Art Collection" in Ayala Museum, Makati City as part of the Curator's Tour
  • PPC Board of Trustees Meeting at Mango Tree Cafe in Greenbelt 3 Mall, Makati City. Among the topics discussed were (1) PPC's initiative for recognition as a Wikimedia thematic organization, (2) Philippine cultural heritage as PPC's main focus/scope which encompasses Freedom of Panorama & GLAM-Wiki, and (3) collaboration with other Wikimedia communities.
  • Meet-up concluded at 05:00 PM
