- Reason
- Picture it: Plains, Georgia, 1979. You're president, and you want to take a bit of time to relax. Suddenly, out of nowhere, you're beset upon by a rabbit. You shoo it away with a paddle, but your photographer got a shot. You decide to tell it as a funny story, and word gets out, and all of a sudden you're being presented as off your rocker. You decide not to publicize the only picture of the incident, but your successor decides to have fun with it. That is the Jimmy Carter rabbit incident, and now to talk about the criteria: high resolution digital quality of an image that never was officially released. It shows its age, to be sure; some highlights are blown, with the camera unable to handle the darkness of the forest and the bright light on carter. But it is a unique historical document, which I believe excuses the technical shortcomings.

- Weak support: If the reproduction is as good as possible, I kind of have to agrree with Chris that this is the best image for the article. But it doesn't tell that much. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 8.8% of all FPs. 10:06, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- Weak support, per above - Moonreach (talk) 20:57, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. I think another image of Carter during his presidency or even his post presidency doing something more significant than a simple story that can even be about him installing solar panels on the White House. This picture also has its technical issues and tells a story that makes him look bad Wcamp9 (talk) 23:03, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
