Hey, I noticed you have made a change to the color scheme of the Democracy Index page. As of right now, there is not an apparent need for another color (the fact that the color scheme is lopsided does not necessarily need another color should be added). If you would like to add another color, I suggest you start a discussion in the article's Talk page. TheGEICOgecko (talk) 09:56, 30 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Arthropod, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Decapod. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hi ZKevinTheCat! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Sino-Tibetan languages that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Remsense ‥  21:36, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ZKevinTheCat. Thank you for your work on Shirongol languages. Another editor, Botterweg14, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Hey! Nice job with this article! If you want to expand it further, Hans Nugteren's contribution to the The Oxford Guide to the Transeurasian Languages has some nice discussion of this language family as well as more general discussion of the internal structure of Mongolic. He also points the reader to the chapters by Birtalan, Bläsing, Skribnik, and Svantesson in the Routledge "Mongolic Languages" volume that you already used here.

In terms of content, one thing that would be nice to expand upon is the origins of the family and its relationship both to history (e.g. the waxing and waning of the Mongol Empire) and to issues in historical linguistics (e.g. genetic relationships versus sprachbunds). I only skimmed the sources I was looking at, but it seems like these are interesting aspects of the topic.

But once again, nice article!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Botterweg14}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)
