New Page Patrol newsletter May 2022
[edit]Hello Yeeno,
At the time of the last newsletter (No.26, September 2021), the backlog was 'only' just over 6,000 articles. In the past six months, the backlog has reached nearly 16,000, a staggering level not seen in several years. A very small number of users had been doing the vast majority of the reviews. Due to "burn-out", we have recently lost most of this effort. Furthermore, several reviewers have been stripped of the user right for abuse of privilege and the articles they patrolled were put back in the queue.
Several discussions on the state of the process have taken place on the talk page, but there has been no action to make any changes. The project also lacks coordination since the "position" is vacant.
In the last 30 days, only 100 reviewers have made more than 8 patrols and only 50 have averaged one review a day. There are currently 803 New Page Reviewers, but about a third have not had any activity in the past month. All 852 administrators have this permission, but only about a dozen significantly contribute to NPP.
This means we have an active pool of about 450 to address the backlog. We cannot rely on a few to do most of the work as that inevitably leads to burnout. A fairly experienced reviewer can usually do a review in a few minutes. If every active reviewer would patrol just one article per day, the backlog would very quickly disappear.
If you have noticed a user with a good understanding of Wikipedia notability and deletion, do suggest they help the effort by placing {{subst:NPR invite}}
on their talk page.
If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process and its software.

New Page Patrol newsletter June 2022
[edit]Hello Yeeno,
- Backlog status
At the time of the last newsletter (No.27, May 2022), the backlog was approaching 16,000, having shot up rapidly from 6,000 over the prior two months. The attention the newsletter brought to the backlog sparked a flurry of activity. There was new discussion on process improvements, efforts to invite new editors to participate in NPP increased and more editors requested the NPP user right so they could help, and most importantly, the number of reviews picked up and the backlog decreased, dipping below 14,000[a] at the end of May.
Since then, the news has not been so good. The backlog is basically flat, hovering around 14,200. I wish I could report the number of reviews done and the number of new articles added to the queue. But the available statistics we have are woefully inadequate. The only real number we have is the net queue size.[b]
In the last 30 days, the top 100 reviewers have all made more than 16 patrols (up from 8 last month), and about 70 have averaged one review a day (up from 50 last month).
While there are more people doing more reviews, many of the ~730 with the NPP right are doing little. Most of the reviews are being done by the top 50 or 100 reviewers. They need your help. We appreciate every review done, but please aim to do one a day (on average, or 30 a month).
- Backlog drive
A backlog reduction drive, coordinated by buidhe and Zippybonzo, will be held from July 1 to July 31. Sign up here. Barnstars will be awarded.
- TIP – New school articles
Many new articles on schools are being created by new users in developing and/or non-English-speaking countries. The authors are probably not even aware of Wikipedia's projects and policy pages. WP:WPSCH/AG has some excellent advice and resources specifically written for these users. Reviewers could consider providing such first-time article creators with a link to it while also mentioning that not all schools pass the GNG and that elementary schools are almost certainly not notable.
- Misc
There is a new template available, {{NPP backlog}}
, to show the current backlog. You can place it on your user or talk page as a reminder:
Very high unreviewed pages backlog: 12867 articles, as of 16:00, 19 November 2024 (UTC), according to DatBot
There has been significant discussion at WP:VPP recently on NPP-related matters (Draftification, Deletion, Notability, Verifiability, Burden). Proposals that would somewhat ease the burden on NPP aren't gaining much traction, although there are suggestions that the role of NPP be fundamentally changed to focus only on major CSD-type issues.
- Reminders
- Consider staying informed on project issues by putting the project discussion page on your watchlist.
- If you have noticed a user with a good understanding of Wikipedia notability and deletion, suggest they help the effort by placing
{{subst:NPR invite}}

I created a redirect from José Pacheco (Portuguese politician) to José Pacheco (politician). Just to remind you WP:A10 should only be used if the title of the article is an implausible redirect to the duplicated page in question. BangJan1999 03:01, 11 July 2022 (UTC)

ITN recognition for Visit by Pope Francis to Canada
[edit]You did well in nominating and updating it for Ongoing. Then in adapting it to standalone blurbs. Ten supported a blurb, more than opposed either or both. That's a win. Anyone with basic reading skills will see how ten supporters were screwed by two cheating closers in the archives. Keep up the good work!
Step by step, outsiders are waking up to the significance of this journey. When it comes time for money to leave Rome, keepsakes to return home, old bulls to technically crumble or whatever else it takes for reality to finally sink in with naysayers, that blurb will have been built on your back just as surely as on many others'.
Merci beaucoup, miigwech and by any word sincerely, InedibleHulk (talk) 19:48, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- @InedibleHulk: Thank you for your support. I share your disappointment that this wasn't able to make it to ITN in one form or another, but help but think that me nominating it for ongoing instead of a blurb was a mistake in that it caused so much confusion and lost context (it also makes it look like I nominated it twice, but, like you said, anyone with basic reading skills should've figured out that wasn't the case).
- Regardless, being able to bring attention to this important journey is a big win, and I'll continue the work to make this article the best that it can be. Perhaps we can bring it to DYK? Yeeno (talk) 00:03, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah, it definitely got a bit blurry at the end. But this trip is an ongoing event, so Ongoing made sense. I think some people have grown so used to seeing indefinite pestilence and war in the spot, it's become more a game of Beat That With Famine than a place for scheduled public events. I don't exactly know how to drive a DYK, but if you start it, support should follow. InedibleHulk (talk) 00:27, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

New Page Patrol newsletter August 2022
[edit]Hello Yeeno,
- Backlog status
After the last newsletter (No.28, June 2022), the backlog declined another 1,000 to 13,000 in the last week of June. Then the July backlog drive began, during which 9,900 articles were reviewed and the backlog fell by 4,500 to just under 8,500 (these numbers illustrate how many new articles regularly flow into the queue). Thanks go to the coordinators Buidhe and Zippybonzo, as well as all the nearly 100 participants. Congratulations to Dr vulpes who led with 880 points. See this page for further details.
Unfortunately, most of the decline happened in the first half of the month, and the backlog has already risen to 9,600. Understandably, it seems many backlog drive participants are taking a break from reviewing and unfortunately, we are not even keeping up with the inflow let alone driving it lower. We need the other 600 reviewers to do more! Please try to do at least one a day.
- Coordination
- MB and Novem Linguae have taken on some of the coordination tasks. Please let them know if you are interested in helping out. MPGuy2824 will be handling recognition, and will be retroactively awarding the annual barnstars that have not been issued for a few years.
- Open letter to the WMF
- The Page Curation software needs urgent attention. There are dozens of bug fixes and enhancements that are stalled (listed at Suggested improvements). We have written a letter to be sent to the WMF and we encourage as many patrollers as possible to sign it here. We are also in negotiation with the Board of Trustees to press for assistance. Better software will make the active reviewers we have more productive.
- TIP - Reviewing by subject
- Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages by their most familiar subjects can do so from the regularly updated sorted topic list.
- New reviewers
- The NPP School is being underused. The learning curve for NPP is quite steep, but a detailed and easy-to-read tutorial exists, and the Curation Tool's many features are fully described and illustrated on the updated page here.
- Reminders
- Consider staying informed on project issues by putting the project discussion page on your watchlist.
- If you have noticed a user with a good understanding of Wikipedia notability and deletion, suggest they help the effort by placing

I had noticed that the page was deleted out of plagiarism and I can see why, as that person didn't know what he was doing and never bothered to look at the rules. However, I was in the middle of trying to fix the page when it got deleted because of the guy's big mistake. So, if I could, maybe I can try to actually make the page better, as well as maybe changing the title to have a capitalized I. (I have most of what I written down in a document, so I am mostly prepared) If not, then that is fine by me, I was simply asking because I knew I could try and improve it.
Also, I know I'm new to this wiki and I haven't really done anything, but I was trying to right a wrong that that person did. 95.49.82.236 (talk) 11:07, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

September drive bling
[edit]The Modest Barnstar | ||
This barnstar is awarded to Yeeno for copy edits totaling over 4,000 words (including bonus and rollover words) during the GOCE September 2022 Backlog Elimination Drive. Congratulations, and thank you for your contributions! Miniapolis 19:18, 6 October 2022 (UTC) |
Hi, I noticed your revert of my edits at Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. I think my edits should be restored because what I did was unitalicize the words that are supposed to be italicized. This makes sense because the default formatting of the headers are italicized, so unitalicization indicates words that are normally italicized. My explanation is probably confusing, but I hope that makes sense. FunnyMath (talk) 06:37, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- See WP:ITHAT for a better explanation. FunnyMath (talk) 21:23, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- @FunnyMath: Thanks for the explanation; I get what you're trying to do, which is reasonable, but the edits you made didn't italicize the links the way you wanted to. Perhaps you could test it out in your sandbox? Yeeno (talk) 00:30, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- No, I did italicize the links correctly. I unitalicized the words that are italicized in a normal sentence per WP:ITHAT.
- For example, for this hatnote:
- See also: Pokémon Gold and Silver § Plot
- I changed it to this:
- See also: Pokémon Gold and Silver § Plot
- where the words "Pokémon Gold" and "Silver" are unitalicized because they are italicized in the title Pokémon Gold and Silver FunnyMath (talk) 00:45, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- You can check my old revision here: [1] FunnyMath (talk) 00:48, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- @FunnyMath: My mistake, I see what you are trying to do now. I've restored the edits and linked to the WP:ITHAT in the summary to clarify what the edits accomplish. Yeeno (talk) 00:50, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you. No worries, it is a bit confusing, and a lot of articles on Wikipedia don't unitalicize words properly in the hatnotes. I'm trying to fix some of them. FunnyMath (talk) 00:52, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- Sounds good, I'd just suggest that you include WP:ITHAT in the summary next time so others know what you're doing. Thanks! Yeeno (talk) 00:54, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- You're right. I'll make sure to do that from now on. FunnyMath (talk) 00:58, 7 October 2022 (UTC)

Recent vandalism on the Jim Allister wikipedia page.
[edit]Hello, I noticed that you recently removed some vandalism on this page by a user called Comerford1. Given the nature of the vandalism and the frequency of attacks on the page, is it possible to ban the perpetrators from Wikipedia? I know that they can probably just create another identity for themselves but, at least, this would allow data to be collected on such users and would inconvenience them slightly.
Regards
BrownBowler BrownBowler (talk) 10:13, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- @BrownBowler: In short, yes, users can be blocked from editing per the blocking policy by an administrator (not me). In the case of vandals, we usually give them four warnings before they are blocked; the mentioned user has already been warned and has not edited since, so a block wouldn't be necessary at this time.
- If there are multiple users persistently vandalizing a page within a short period of time, you could also make a request for page protection, which would temporarily block all new accounts from editing a certain page. There is also sockpuppet investigations, which deals with users abusing multiple accounts (called "socks"). I hope this answers your question! Yeeno (talk) 02:53, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
Your Message Title
[edit]Hello, is there anyway that I can add the material that I added this evening from the news article about Max Trejo to his Wikipedia page. I believe the information may be a little long, but it really fills in his background and covers one of the major accomplishments of his playing career. Can I revert it back? I am fairly a novice at this, and I am trying to improve, but deleting the quotes and what I put together really damages the entry, I believe. Jmr012 (talk) 02:28, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Jmr012: You can find a page's previous versions by clicking the "View History" button, which is near the "Edit" button on the top right. You can then view a previous revision by clicking on the timestamp on your revision's entry. In your case, it'd be
02:01, 21 October 2022
, which is before the quotes were removed. You can access this revision to see your edits and reinstate what you think is important. - With the regards to the content, including long and detailed quotes gives undue weight to certain viewpoints. In other words, while the praise Trejo got after his four-game start may be worth noting, including the long quotes that take up over a third of the page overemphasizes the point. Instead, you may want to consider summing up the of quotes in a sentence or two, so I would suggest taking a looking back at the quotes and describing the key points in your own words.
- Hope this helps; if you need more assistance you can visit the Wikipedia:Teahouse, a friendly spot for beginners where you can ask questions about editing and get help from volunteers. Best, Yeeno (talk) 03:23, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for the information.. I am trying to find new sources of information to make the entry and balanced and informational as possible. But that comes in dribs and drabs. But no matter what, you guys have my back to fix anything atrocious that inadvertently post so I appreciate that. Jmr012 (talk) 21:18, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
Early end of the backlog drive
[edit]A few days ago, new page patrollers got the backlog to zero. Due to the unprecedented success of the backlog drive, it will be ending early—at the end of 24 October, or in approximately two hours.
Barnstars will be awarded as soon as the coords can tally the results. Streak awards will be allocated based on the first three weeks of the drive, with the last three days being counted as part of week three.
Great work everyone! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:50, 24 October 2022 (UTC)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

New Page Patrol newsletter October 2022
[edit]Hello Yeeno,
Much has happened since the last newsletter over two months ago. The open letter finished with 444 signatures. The letter was sent to several dozen people at the WMF, and we have heard that it is being discussed but there has been no official reply. A related article appears in the current issue of The Signpost. If you haven't seen it, you should, including the readers' comment section.
Awards: Barnstars were given for the past several years (thanks to MPGuy2824), and we are now all caught up. The 2021 cup went to John B123 for leading with 26,525 article reviews during 2021. To encourage moderate activity, a new "Iron" level barnstar is awarded annually for reviewing 360 articles ("one-a-day"), and 100 reviews earns the "Standard" NPP barnstar. About 90 reviewers received barnstars for each of the years 2018 to 2021 (including the new awards that were given retroactively). All awards issued for every year are listed on the Awards page. Check out the new Hall of Fame also.
Software news: Novem Linguae and MPGuy2824 have connected with WMF developers who can review and approve patches, so they have been able to fix some bugs, and make other improvements to the Page Curation software. You can see everything that has been fixed recently here. The reviewer report has also been improved.
Suggestions:
- There is much enthusiasm over the low backlog, but remember that the "quality and depth of patrolling are more important than speed".
- Reminder: an article should not be tagged for any kind of deletion for a minimum of 15 minutes after creation and it is often appropriate to wait an hour or more. (from the NPP tutorial)
- Reviewers should focus their effort where it can do the most good, reviewing articles. Other clean-up tasks that don't require advanced permissions can be left to other editors that routinely improve articles in these ways (creating Talk Pages, specifying projects and ratings, adding categories, etc.) Let's rely on others when it makes the most sense. On the other hand, if you enjoy doing these tasks while reviewing and it keeps you engaged with NPP (or are guiding a newcomer), then by all means continue.
- This user script puts a link to the feed in your top toolbar.
Backlog:
Saving the best for last: From a July low of 8,500, the backlog climbed back to 11,000 in August and then reversed in September dropping to below 6,000 and continued falling with the October backlog drive to under 1,000, a level not seen in over four years. Keep in mind that there are 2,000 new articles every week, so the number of reviews is far higher than the backlog reduction. To keep the backlog under a thousand, we have to keep reviewing at about half the recent rate!
- Reminders

- If you're interested in instant messaging and chat rooms, please join us on the New Page Patrol Discord, where you can ask for help and live chat with other patrollers.

[edit]The template links to MBA (identifier) which is a redirect to MusicBrainz. Sould that be fixed and, if so, where would I report it? —DaydreamBelizer (talk) 01:01, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
- @DaydreamBelizer: I don't think this is an issue, because according to the redirect page, identifiers are intentionally linked to redirects to avoid clutter in "What links here" and for other uses. Yeeno (talk) 01:14, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]IABot has piqued my curiosity: why add archive links to live sources? —DaydreamBelizer (chat) 16:28, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- @DaydreamBelizer: Running the bot protects the sources from link rot, so sources are still easily accessible if they go down. IABot automatically finds an archived version of that page, or creates an archived version if one doesn't exist. Though it's not required for GA, some reviewers will strongly suggest you archive your sources. You can run it yourself by using the Fix dead links link in the page history tab.
- For live sources, there's not much effect as the bot automatically marks them with
url-status=live
, so the original link is still primarily used and the archive is provided as a secondary link. For dead sources, the bot (or an editor) would change the param tourl-status=dead
, which would cause the citation to primarily link to an archived version. - IABot actually just fixed yesterday after being down for three months, so I ran it on a couple pages to test it out. Glad to see it works! Yeeno (talk) 00:59, 11 January 2023 (UTC)

Citing Rotten Tomatoes
[edit]Hi. I actually did start a discussion on using Rotten Tomatoes as a source a month ago and most of the editors that responded agreed that since it's not a journalism site and it's main purpose is film reviews, it shouldn't be used to source bio info about people. Because we don't know where they got that kind of info from. For all we know it could have web scraped from other sites like IMDB. The reason I even asked that question there to begin with is because it has many DOBs for actors that are incorrect.
https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_403#Rotten_Tomatoes_reliabilty Kcj5062 (talk) 21:27, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Kcj5062: Thanks for bringing this up, I wasn't aware of this discussion. It seems like these errors do bring the site's feedback mechanisms into question; perhaps an RfC is required to clarify this issue once and for all. In the meantime, I've removed the RT source from James Arnold Taylor. Yeeno (talk) 21:37, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- How exactly do you start a RfC? Sorry I really haven't been a frequent Wikipedia editor until recently and I'm still trying to learn some stuff. Kcj5062 (talk) 21:41, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Kcj5062: I've never started one myself, but it would be similar to a regular noticeboard post, except there are some extra templates you need to include (see WP:RFCST for steps). RfCs for sources are usually posted on WP:RSN, and there's also some extra info on the top of that page regarding RfCs. In this case, you should probably introduce the issue again and link to the previous inconclusive discussions on this topic. Yeeno (talk) 22:00, 29 May 2023 (UTC)

Discontent Content Issue 7
[edit]Welcome, subscribers, to the seventh Discontent Content newsletter! Discontent Content is a newsletter aiming to collate and improve Wikipedia articles in need of more eyes and hands to get them in shape. Its unique trimodal structure allows editors to work where they feel comfortable -- with stubs and starts needing to be brought to standard, mid-quality articles with Good or Featured potential, or quality-assessed articles needing help to maintain their status. Articles in this category are those that need to be brought up to a minimum quality standard. Some will be stubs; others will be longer articles that nonetheless have significant concerns putting them far below B- or C-class adequacy. This issue's Category 1 articles are:
Articles in this category, while in better current shape than Category 1, are still missing something. They have the potential to be truly high-quality content, and may have been at one point. With work, they can be brought up to dizzying heights. This issue's Category 2 articles are:
Articles in this category have been assessed through a content review process in the past, but may require work to be brought up to current GA/FA standard. Editors can help bring them to a level where the star or plus near their names can once again shine. This issue's Category 3 articles are:
I LIVE. Hi, guys. Great to see you. I felt like doing this again. Will I do more? Let's find out. I hope you're all well, you beautiful people. |

[edit]Thank you for pushing this article to draft so I could improve it. I mostly edit existing articles, and don't often create new articles, and in the past, I'd create a skeleton article and add references, pictures, and more text later. I wasn't using a sandbox. As Wiki has gotten tighter with new articles, that approach is no longer an option. I think it's ready for publishing now. Please take a look. New pages patrol newsletter
[edit]Hello Yeeno,
Backlog update: At the time of this message, there are 11,300 articles and 15,600 redirects awaiting review. This is the highest backlog in a long time. Please help out by doing additional reviews!
October backlog elimination drive: A one-month backlog drive for October will start in one week! Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Articles will earn 4x as many points compared to redirects. You can sign up here.
PageTriage code upgrades: Upgrades to the PageTriage code, initiated by the NPP open letter in 2022 and actioned by the WMF Moderator Tools Team in 2023, are ongoing. More information can be found here. As part of this work, the Special:NewPagesFeed now has a new version in beta! The update leaves the NewPagesFeed appearance and function mostly identical to the old one, but updates the underlying code, making it easier to maintain and helping make sure the extension is not decommissioned due to maintenance issues in the future. You can try out the new Special:NewPagesFeed here - it will replace the current version soon.
Notability tip: Professors can meet WP:PROF #1 by having their academic papers be widely cited by their peers. When reviewing professor articles, it is a good idea to find their Google Scholar or Scopus profile and take a look at their h-index and number of citations. As a very rough rule of thumb, for most fields, articles on people with a h-index of twenty or more, a first-authored paper with more than a thousand citations, or multiple papers each with more than a hundred citations are likely to be kept at AfD.
Reviewing tip: If you would like like a second opinion on your reviews or simply want another new page reviewer by your side when patrolling, we recommend pair reviewing! This is where two reviewers use Discord voice chat and screen sharing to communicate with each other while reviewing the same article simultaneously. This is a great way to learn and transfer knowledge.
Reminders:
- You can access live chat with patrollers on the New Page Patrol Discord.
- Consider adding the project discussion page to your watchlist.

Kamloops logo design credit
[edit]Hello Yeeno,
My name is Vaughn Warren and I designed the Kamloops Tournament Capital logo for the City of Kamloops BC.
I am noticing that I am no longer credited with the design, pursuant to your upload of it in 2022. Previous to that time, I was credited for the design on Wikipedia.

I would like to be credited for my work, obviously. Can you help rectify this situation, please?
Thank you.

New Pages Patrol newsletter April 2024
[edit]Hello Yeeno,
Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.
Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.
Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.
It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!
2023 Awards
Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!
WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.
Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.
Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.
Reminders:
- You can access live chat with patrollers on the New Pages Patrol Discord.
- Consider adding the project discussion page to your watchlist.
