Silvio Fazio
I saw no evidence of an author request to delete the article Silvio Fazio. Please explain.--Auric talk 16:40, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- The sole author had blanked the article. Widr (talk) 17:34, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- I saw no communication of intent.--Auric talk 17:49, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- "However, if the sole author blanks a page other than a userspace page or category page, this can be taken as a deletion request, and the blank page tagged for deletion with db-blanked (see G7)." Widr (talk) 18:03, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Okay. The article was translated from the French Wikipedia. Did you take this into account?--Auric talk 18:06, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- I don't see what that has to do with the issue. The only reason that brought me to the article was the blanking detected by STiki. Widr (talk) 18:13, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
MAY 2013 Reverted Edit on Repalle
That edit was not made by me, but I don't know why it displays my IP address! I know it was vandal in nature, but it was not done by me!! My computer is not a shared computer too! Regards
Added to that I checked my internet history, Repalle was never, opened from my computer! Can you please explain, how it occured?

Italian charts
There are data after position 10. They are commonly found on this website. http://www.it-charts.it/DL-2013/indice.htm Also because it's impossible in Italy are allocated gold and platinum records without ever being entered in the chart. Simply did not arrive in the top 10, but maybe have been for many weeks in other locations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.229.82.25 (talk) 13:44, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

Invitation to look at edits on IQ reference chart
I see the article IQ reference chart has been tagged for expert review since October 2012. As part of a process of drafting a revision of that article in my user sandbox, I am contacting all Wikipedians who have edited that article since early 2009 for whom I can find a user talk page.
I have read all the diffs of all the edits committed to the article since the beginning of 2009 (since before I started editing Wikipedia). I see the great majority of edits over that span have been vandalism (often by I.P. editors, presumably teenagers, inserting the names of their classmates in charts of IQ classifications) and reversions of vandalism (sometimes automatically by ClueBot). Just a few editors have referred to and cited published reliable sources on the topic of IQ classification. It is dismaying to see that the number of reliable sources cited in the article has actually declined over the last few years. To help the process of finding reliable sources for articles on psychology and related topics, I have been compiling a source list on intelligence since I became a Wikipedian in 2010, and I invite you to make use of those sources as you revise articles on Wikipedia and to suggest further sources for the source on the talk pages of the source list and its subpages. Because the IQ reference chart article has been tagged as needing expert attention for more than half a year, I have opened discussion on the article's talk page about how to fix the article, and I welcome you to join the discussion. The draft I have in my user sandbox shows my current thinking about a reader-friendly, well sourced way to update and improve the article. I invite your comments and especially your suggestions of reliable sources as the updating process proceeds. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 21:03, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

Nezahualcoyotl
you claim that I am wrong on the translation of the name Nezahualcoyotl. well I disagree with you. I have been researching the Aztecs and even this ruler and know his family connection to the Tenochtitlan branch of the family. if you read other books by professors and those who are both professors and archaeologists on the subject of ancient Mexico even they say that the translation is that of fasting coyote or the coyote who fasts. sorry to disagree but I am not wrong.'74.71.184.122 (talk) 07:01, 3 June 2013 (UTC) 6/3/2013

The paragraph quoted from "Sidney Coleman & F. de Luccia" starts with the sentence "This is disheartening." PS Vita
I blanked the tables because PS Vita has no games. Therefore, the page was misinformative and against Wikipedia's standards. Thank you, however, for reminding me to put an edit note next time. Totally spaced on that one. Have a nice day.Megamaw (talk) 18:41, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

List of Australian club rugby union competitions
Hello.
In reply to:
- Hello, I'm Widr. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to List of Australian club rugby union competitions, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Widr (talk) 18:50, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, my edit was not vandalism. I was adding to the article by filling in missing information and formatting some incomplete sections into tables. I accidentally duplicated one of the tables, but I corrected this before your revert, which meant a deletion of approximately 7000 characters.
Please check the article to verify that what I am saying is correct that there is now a duplicated table of The Sydney Competition and confirm by replying here. If you have any other issues then please describe them. Otherwise I would like to restore to my previous version. 101.112.41.63 (talk)

- Okay, five hours have now elapsed. I'm going to restore the version and remove the duplication. Be aware that this is not vandalism. - Thanks 101.112.12.94 (talk) 23:54, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Calvary Cemetery (St. Louis)
Hi, I'm new to editing on Wikipedia and am unsure about where to put content that I wish to submit for a new page. I originally put the text in Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Calvary Cemetery (St. Louis), but then deleted it all and moved the text verbatim to Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Calvary_Cemetery_(St._Louis) because I thought that was the proper place for the text to go. Did I do this right (apart from the fact that I didn't do an edit summary)? All I'm trying to do is get a new page started for Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis. Thanks.Viking55 (talk) 18:52, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Appears to be right. There's some backlog there, so it might take some time before it gets reviewed though. Widr (talk) 19:12, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing Music of Peru
I thought I had reverted vandalism to the article Music of Peru. However, there was additional vandalism in the article and my reversion left that in place. I am sorry I did not catch the additional vandalism. I think I am generally alert to the possibility of more than one vandal getting at an article before it is fixed, which I think is invariably the cause of such mistakes, but I missed this one. Thanks for cleaning it up. Donner60 (talk) 07:16, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

About the my changes to Roman Republic which have been determined by you as nonconstructive changes
But actually Classical Latin doesn't have u and instead it uses v to represent the /u/ sound, as well as the consonantal /w/. The native name at that period was SENATVS POPVLVSQVE ROMANVS but not Senatus populus que romanus. 123.202.92.184 (talk) 18:19, 17 June 2013 (UTC)

editing Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee page history section
Hi,
I edited IIT Roorkee history section cause if you see the information I deleted, is the history of each of the departments, not the history of the institute itself.
If you see the other IIT colleges IITB , IITD, IITK, etc the history section is the history of the institute, no the history of the individual departments, the history of the departments should go under specific departments in separate headers as IITD has.
Under separate headers other informations about the departments can also come... I am planing to add the history info of individual departments as separate headers. Dont you think its a structured and organized way to layout information??
Any ways I am new to wiki community so please guide me.

Frank Keem Malcolm
I have no idea why you undid the corrections I made to my grand uncles wiki page.
His name is Frank Keim Malcolm. It is not Frank Keem Malcolm. I can send you his birth recod if youd like and you can tell me how to send it. I have been doing our family geneology for a long time. Also I added the ful name of his parents John Armour Malcolm and Mary Jane Walton. Why would you change the middle name back to the initial.
His entry page should also be changed to Frank Keim Malcolm (from Frank Keem Malcolm) but I was unable to do that. Can you make the change.
I can send you proof of these names if you are interested. Frank was married twice and I have proof of that. The wiki article only lists the first wife and it lists her name wrong. Her name was Ethel Hendershott DEAN. His second wife was Marjory HENDERSON who was born 19 Dec 1922. I have their wedding photo if youd like and can tell me how to send it.
In 1911 census Frank Keim Malcom was a lodger at 21 Elgin St in St Thomas ontario. he was listed as a plumbers apprentice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.237.118.84 (talk) 11:40, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
- Even though you are writing from an IP address, I assume that you are User:Jim Matthews01. I reverted the edits, because they contradict with the sources that were used in the article. Both of those links are listing "Frank Keem Malcolm." You should use reliable sources if you intend you correct the article. However, you should also read this article first. C&C change
Surprised somebody actually PM to anonymous about joke change.
Yes, I saw the number 300 million copies (for one game) and thought: what a joke. There's no game ever to sell even half of that amount. Number of sold copies for C&C and Red Alert vary throughout the web, but there's no valid source. In truth I don't think they could sell more than 10 million copies each. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.112.116.252 (talk) 12:19, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

Clarification and question
Hello,
I have no background knowledge on how to create a wikipedia account. I'm doing my absolute best to make sure I follow Wiki rules and regulations. i don't know why my edit was deleted
wikipedia is supposed to be a place where you can go for truths, facts, etc. it is a truth, a fact, that fredricks of hollywood provides very poor customer service and that their supervisors are insulting to recipients. they DO require recipients to provide the buyer's personal information which is a violation of privacy. what would be a more "constructive" way for me to edit the page?
- Hello! It may not be that your edit was "un-constructive", it could be that you deleted a large section of text without telling us why in the summary box, or it could be that you made a change that needs verification or a citation. If you need help, let one of us know :) Dusti*poke* 18:03, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

Nate Ruess Superbowl commercial
Nate Ruess page-I made the change from Superbowl "Chevrolet" commercial to "Taco Bell" because if you look the commercial up on you tube it was actually a Taco Bell commercial with a bunch of old people sneaking out of a retirement home to party all night and ending the night at Taco Bell for a full belly :) I thought that people would appreciate the article being correct in content and meant no disrespect to Nate Ruess, the superbowl, the article, or Chevrolet. The commercial does have a cool old car in it so that may be the source or the confusion. I tried to make a reference to the commercial on you tube, but since this was my first time correcting anything on Wikipedia, I did not know how to make reference properly.
Thank You. 71.12.244.90 (talk) 14:16, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
Please leave me edits as is
You have reverted some changes I made to a page I built (I lost access to my old account and had to make this one) as you felt they were not constructive. Look through the edits. I reverted changes that were made because THEY were not constructive (changing behaviour to behavior) and wrongly changing necrotizing (the correct word) to narcotizing. I carefully monitor that page, so please, leave it in my hands. The pictures of the king snake are of my own Mexican Black Kingsnake and I have been studying them for a while, with a general interest in the species.
Thanks.
