Gabbar is Back
The user Wysgal has added an unreliable website called "sahinahi"in http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Gabbar_is_Back&action=history
I can't edit it as the page is semi protected. You please do something.

Hi, sorry for the confusion
Hi, sorry for the confusion, I was editing the racist labels. This man is an Australian, he has Greek parents. I am also Australian but my parents are Irish. Not once in my life have I ever been called and Irish-Australian, nor would I ever like to be called such a thing. I have spoken breifly with Costa, he requested that I edit the page as he was offended by the use of such generalisations. Please edit the page again and this matter will not be taken further. Thanks.
Bernhard Wolf autobiography
Dear Widr, thank you for your post on my talkpage from May, 5th. Having gone through the wiki-guidelines as suggested I understand the concerns regarding autobiographies. In the meantime I have added some more external links in order to better meet the standard of having as many independent sources as possible linked to my work or writing about my work as visual artist. This effort will continue. I am new to Wikipedia and thankful for any recommendations or warnings as I really want to respect the Wiki - conception. My apologies, if this should not be the right way to answer to your talk posting. All the best, wolgawolf84.115.155.193 (talk) 17:06, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Wolgawolf and thanks for the message. It's good to hear that you have read the guidelines. Hopefully you will keep editing beyond the autobiography as well. Widr (talk) 20:04, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
Apotheosis
Thanks for your revert of my recent edit. It was my error. I thought I was removing the editorial text that had previously been removed, not the other way around as my edit did. Don't know how I got so confused. Evensteven (talk) 15:45, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- I guessed so. No problem, this happens to all of us sometimes. Widr (talk) 15:47, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

Looks like you've been reported to WP:ANI for "administrative vandalism" by a user User:Youthoughtitwouldbethateasy- guessing a sock of someone you blocked? Joseph2302 (talk) 17:58, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

- At least you don't have to go unnoticed. Well, I've been pinged by several socks these past few days, so this one just might have been part of a bigger farm. Widr (talk) 18:50, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Why are you deleting me and my children off of my husband's Wikipedia page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Christyspinks (talk • contribs) 23:18, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Christyspinks: Your additions were malformatted and unsourced. With conflict of interest, it's not recommended that you edit the article at all, but if you do, please source and format your additions correctly. Widr (talk) 23:27, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks, but...
now I'll be wondering how I got only one of the two bad edits reverted correctly. (sigh) :-( Thanks again. Shenme (talk) 21:46, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
- Well, someone took care of it for us both. Widr (talk) 05:08, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
TISM
Sorry, I did think I was making a constructive edit. I have a videotape around here somewhere on which TISM uses the moniker "This Is Shit Music" in an official capacity, but I'm going to have to dig through the archive so I can cite it properly, then make the edit again. Will make sure to have my material on hand next time.
- Yeah, that kind of addition definitely needs a reliable source. Widr (talk) 09:06, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
Hi
I'm having to use my phone, the sources listed are from 2011 and 2012, if you can be patient with me I'll have sources to show that article does require updating, thankyou. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anonymous573462 (talk • contribs) 07:46, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- Hello. You can use your Sandbox to make experiments, or hit the "preview" button before saving your changes to the article, so you can make sure your additions are formatted correctly. Widr (talk) 07:58, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
A question... Do YouTube links count as sources? There are a couple of videos there where it can be witnessed a UK group called the Freedom Rebels have ended a couple of court cases successfully without needed to pay council tax on one specifically... Also to note; The UK constitution; from my knowledge if we were to infer that there is one and based on documents; The Coronation Oath requires that the queen must Abide the gospels... I've never seen it in use but surely if she or any government official is enacted power, therefore everyone shares that power "Do in return to others, as you'd have done in return to you" (and no civil arrests can be made when a sovereign is present.) sovereign is the highest authority in the civil courts in black's dictionary. Anyone who holds office is sworn to serve the queen and would commit treason otherwise, or essentially, not "returning equal jurisdiction".
I can't be bothered to edit today, but to put "every case had failed" doesn't look true. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anonymous573462 (talk • contribs) 08:20, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- Have a look at this article, that should help you with all things related to sources. I don't really have an opinion on the content of the article itself, as it was just the malformatted edits that triggered the anti-vandalism tool that I'm using. Widr (talk) 10:46, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
I never considered the Guardian to be a reliable source of information... Same can be said with benchmark or any newspaper... Hence why I criticized the article. Is there anyway to point this out? Because on YouTube, I can confirm a couple of cases where the "freemen" have won in a court with links. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anonymous573462 (talk • contribs) 12:44, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- I would suggest you bring these issues to the article's talk page, so other editors can also weigh in. Widr (talk) 14:21, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
I'm having some trouble finding this talk page, are you able to create me a link? Thanks and sorry for the trouble still. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anonymous573462 (talk • contribs) 00:52, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
I was showing someone how to make their own wiki private...
Hey, sorry about that. I did not mean to act like I was vandalizing the site. I was trying to show someone that if a wiki is public, anybody could have access to change the contents. So I changed just one word of this site to show them, and forgot to change it back. I did not mean to change your site.
- It's okay. It was not the worst thing you could have done. Widr (talk) 20:54, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

Kentucky
Cincinnati is the biggest metro area in Kentucky. The fact that majority of the people in the Cincinnati metro area live in Ohio doesn't make the largest Metro area not Cincinnati. I assume the reason they include largest metro area on this article is because it is different from the largest city in this case. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ikamjh (talk • contribs) 14:42, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Ikamjh: There is a hidden note in the section suggesting a consensus. If you disagree, instead of edit warring, you need to raise the issue on the talk page of the article. Widr (talk) 14:53, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

Greetings
We want to edit the following article
To add our point of view to that foundation
In Wiki article about Muslim World League there is one side of the story and we want to add ours.
We are sorry about the last few editing it was a mistake from our staff we asked them to add to the article and they deleted the content of it.
Now is there a problem in adding to it or what shall we do?

Greetings
We already read that, and we still want to edit the article
the person who wrote it has an extremist vision about our foundation
The US Supreme Court ruled us righteous judgment, but the article writer NOT
So it is our writes to at least ADD to the article our point of view
Iuthemwlorg — Preceding undated comment added 09:46, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- The article's talk page is the correct place to discuss this. There you can make edit requests regarding the content. Widr (talk) 09:59, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

Ok, We'll try
But When should we expect to see our writing in our Foundation page Muslim World League ?

Sir, We didn't get a direct answer from you about adding to our definition Muslim World League which contains lies about us.
We are not asking to remove anything, we just need to add our point of view so the free minded people will know the truth and they will know who is lying.
We appreciate your kind assistance in this.
We write what we need to add in the Talk page of Muslim World League
Best Regards

- Yes, that's the right place. Widr (talk) 06:54, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry, but the right place should be on the first page. The truth should be on the first page not in the "Talk" unseen page this is not right, is this what Wikipedia is about? to allow anyone who is filled with hater to publish his grudge as a truth and the real story stays hidden! This is totally unacceptable. Iuthemwlorg (talk) 11:16, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
- Like I have said, please discuss your concerns on the talk page of the article. Since you have conflict of interest, it is not recommended that you edit the actual article yourself. Instead, you can leave edit requests on the talk page. I also recommend you to read WP:SHAREDACCOUNT. Any further discussion should go to the article's talk page, not my talk page. Thanks. Half a million WP:STiki classifications!
Congratulations on passing the 500,000 classification threshold using the WP:STiki tool. When I first created STiki, I was rather confident that no one would ever displace me from atop the "leaderboard" -- and now you've done it by a factor approaching 8x. I remain in awe of the magnitude and consistency of your participation. If you'd like to decorate yourself a barnstar, feel free to do so, though I imagine your trophy-case is quite full and your contributions don't need to be encouraged by such things. Thanks for all you've done for Wikipedia, and thank you for using my tool. West.andrew.g (talk) 12:31, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, Andrew. I appreciate your words and work. Considering how quickly it replaced Huggle as my main weapon of choice, I guess it's safe to say that I find STiki just a "little bit" addictive. Widr (talk) 12:47, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Ghost Town (Adam Lambert song)
Per WP:GOODCHARTS, the Finnish download chart is not the singles chart, it is just a component chart for the single chart, and entering the peak for download chart without explanation is misleading. The song did not chart on the single chart that week - here, or any other week. Hzh (talk) 17:07, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- It's a component chart and if/when the song appears on the main chart, it can be replaced. Widr (talk) 17:09, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- It did not appear on the main chart, but if you want to give the component chart, you would have to explain that it is only a component chart, not the main chart. We have problem with people entering the chart ranking on Adam Lambert Discography due to this. It is not the single chart, you cannot, say, enter Billboard digital (or streaming, or radio play) chart positions for Hot 100, it is going cause all kinds of problem. Hzh (talk) 17:14, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if it's necessary to add this one to the discography page. It would at least require a footnote or something, since all other positions reflect the singles chart. But per Template:singlechart#Non-Billboard charts this chart can be used in articles. Widr (talk) 17:38, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

Hzh (talk) 17:14, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- I'm sure you can use component charts, that is what WP:GOODCHARTS says. The point is that people assume that this is the single chart, and you cannot put download chart position into single chart. It needs to specify that it is in fact the download chart only. Hzh (talk) 18:04, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- As this issue only concerns the discography article, one option would be leaving a hidden note there explaining that only singles chart positions are to be added, not the download chart positions. Although, since the singlechart templates are not used there, it makes it more difficult for a random user to understand the difference. Widr (talk) 18:18, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- It affects the Ghost Town page because people are assuming that this is the chart position for the Finnish single chart. It is not, and should not be there without clarification. Anyway, I asked for opinions at the talk page for Record charts. Hzh (talk) 18:23, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- The clarification is the fact that it says "Suomen virallinen latauslista" which means the Official Finnish Download Chart. And when you are editing the page you see the finnishdownload template. Widr (talk) 18:29, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- The source isn't a clarification of the chart. You might as well put airplay chart position, so what is there to stop me doing that? Hzh (talk) 18:45, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Actually it is, "latauslista" is the download chart. And yes, there is the airplay chart too. If the song eventually makes it to the singles chart, that will also appear on the page. You are barking at the wrong tree, though, as I am not responsible for creating the templates. They are simply representing the official data released by IFPI Finland. Widr (talk) 18:57, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Right, that's clear. I would still request that a clarification be made, but that is for the people writing the template. Hzh (talk) 19:20, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- I've asked for clarification at the talk page for the Single Chart template. It's getting annoying with people keep changing things on the discography page and having to undo them. Hzh (talk) 19:44, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

Bots
You are receiving this message because a technical change may affect a bot, gadget, or user script you have been using. The breaking change involves API calls. This change has been planned for two years. The WMF will start making this change on 30 June 2015. A partial list of affected bots can be seen here: https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2015-June/081931.html This includes all bots that are using pywikibot compat. Some of these bots have already been fixed. However, if you write user scripts or operate a bot that uses the API, then you should check your code, to make sure that it will not break.
What, exactly, is breaking? The "default continuation mode" for action=query requests to api.php will be changing to be easier for new coders to use correctly. To find out whether your script or bot may be affected, then search the source code (including any frameworks or libraries) for the string "query-continue". If that is not present, then the script or bot is not affected. In a few cases, the code will be present but not used. In that case, the script or bot will continue working.
This change will be part of 1.26wmf12. It will be deployed to test wikis (including mediawiki.org) on 30 June, to non-Wikipedias (such as Wiktionary) on 1 July, and to all Wikipedias on 2 July 2015.
If your bot or script is receiving the warning about this upcoming change (as seen at https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages ), it's time to fix your code!
- The simple solution is to simply include the "rawcontinue" parameter with your request to continue receiving the raw continuation data (example <https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages&rawcontinue=1>). No other code changes should be necessary.
- Or you could update your code to use the simplified continuation documented at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Query#Continuing_queries (example <https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages&continue=>), which is much easier for clients to implement correctly.
Either of the above solutions may be tested immediately, you'll know it works because you stop seeing the warning.
Do you need help with your own bot or script? Ask questions in e-mail on the mediawiki-api or wikitech-l mailing lists. Volunteers at m:Tech or w:en:WP:Village pump (technical) or w:en:Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard may also be able to help you.
Are you using someone else's gadgets or user scripts? Most scripts are not affected. To find out if a script you use needs to be updated, then post a note at the discussion page for the gadget or the talk page of the user who originally made the script. Hello. External links
Widr. Good morning. Thanks for your messages. My rationale for the link was far from spamming but to show that one of the band members has orange hair. This for me is something that might be found in the encyclopaedia . I am happy to abide by your decision of course, but that was my rationale. It is an interesting statement of fact as of course orange hair is not so common. If you can agree with me then let me know and I will re-instate my link which i think followers of this band might find of interest. Many thanks

- I'm afraid your additions are spammish. They all are links to the same blog which itself is not a reliable source for anything. See WP:VERIFY and WP:BLOGS. Mention of orange hair is highly unencyclopedic. Widr (talk) 09:12, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
