Unreliable sourcing
[edit]If you wish to include information about Jennifer Aniston winning awards, you will need to find a reliable source for the information. The awards data on IMDB is provided by users and is not reliable.—Kww(talk) 22:56, 25 April 2015 (UTC)
And a video where she hang the Emmy Award in her hand is not enough like source ?
- An unlicensed copyright violation of an awards ceremony that may have been edited in any fashion by anonymous people? No, that's not a particularly reliable source.—Kww(talk) 22:02, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
The article Grégory Gadebois has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Pishcal — ♣ 19:14, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Cast
[edit]Please be advised that the 'Cast' section of film articles is only to list the film's main actors. Not only is Mia Frye not a main character in The Fifth Element, her role is so minor that she is not even credited. Therefore she should most definitely not appear in the cast section. Have a nice day. Freikorp (talk) 22:05, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
Hey Vulk1, it seems as if you're spending a lot of time editing the article you created, but you haven't yet added any sources. I'm not sure if you read the template on the page yet, but it says that all biographies of living people must have at least one reference to a reliable source that supports a statement in the article. If they don't the article may be deleted. I don't want to see your work go to waste and I would imagine that you don't want it to go to waste either, so I would recommend adding some reliable sources to your article as quick as possible. Pishcal — ♣ 01:22, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Madame (2017 film)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Madame (2017 film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://m.screendaily.com/5106895.article. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Olivia Côte
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Olivia Côte requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

The article Dumplin' (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The film will start filming in early August 2017 in Atlanta. Per WP:CRYSTAL. An article should not be created a film till principal photography begins. Till then, the content can be included in the director's article.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —usernamekiran(talk) 21:50, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

Can you clarify what this means? (Am I missing something super obvious?) Thank you! Jessicapierce (talk) 05:40, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
Hi, It's maybe not useful but it's the number of time, she worked with them.
- Thanks for your reply. That's not information I've ever seen in a list like this, so I'm going to go ahead and remove it. If you like, though, you could include a paragraph about Hickox's work experience with different directors, although just including the number of times she's worked with them probably wouldn't be enough content to be considered noteworthy. Sources
[edit]Hello, I contacted you seven months ago about an unreferenced biography of a living person. Unfortunately you did not add references. I have now moved this with the summary: 'Boleyn moved page Camille Chamoux to Draft:Camille Chamoux without leaving a redirect: biography of a living person with no clear sources. Please add references, WP:INLINECITED, then move back to mainspace.' 'External links' just means suggestions for further reading, and doesn't make clear where you got your information, which is a particular problem for articles on living people, especially when you have their full date of birth (see WP:DOB). Once it has inline citations, it can be moved back at the click of a button. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 06:15, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:

Your draft article, Draft:Camille Chamoux
[edit]Hello, Vulk1. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Camille Chamoux".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}

code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

The article Pierre Cassignard has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hugsyrup (talk) 11:29, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
Nomination of Pierre Cassignard for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Pierre Cassignard is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pierre Cassignard until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Hugsyrup (talk) 13:41, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Victor Turpin
[edit]Hello Vulk1,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Victor Turpin for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mr. & Mrs. Adelman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jack Lang (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Pascal Elso
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Pascal Elso requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. {{u|waddie96}} {talk}

Not helpful
[edit]This is not helpful. Not only is it unsourced, as a future event would need to be per WP:CRYSTAL, but we also don't give people credit for work they haven't done yet, and it's certainly not 2021. If this were a film, the threshold for inclusion would be that filming had begun. Since this is a TV series, we wouldn't add it until the series started airing or until you could prove that taping had begun. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:08, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. The Escort (1999 film) moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to The Escort (1999 film). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. DIVINE 21:08, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
