SAP SE and Focus on Cloud

[edit]

Hi Vchimpanzee, thanks again for your assistance with the first paragraph of my suggested edit to the cloud section of the SAP SE article. I think it really helps broaden the story. Have you gotten any feedback from the community on the second paragraph re: the number of SAP customers currently running SAP HANA? I think that this, too, would help frame the SAP strategy for readers. I appreciate your feedback, and thanks again! Harper70 (talk) 18:56, 9 January 2016 (UTC)Harper70[reply]

Hi Vchimpanzee, thanks again for editing the "Focus on Cloud" section on the SAP SE article. I see that a banner has been placed above the S/4 section, noting that it's written in a promotional way. In my opinion the last two sentences are perhaps problematic. Would it solve the problem if we removed "with its benefits including a smaller data footprint, higher throughput, faster analytics and faster access to data. It also allows existing SAP Business Suite customers to upgrade to this product from SAP Business Suite instead of re-implementing.[16]"? I'd welcome your thoughts and/or edits on this. All the best. Harper70 (talk) 16:07, 26 February 2016 (UTC)Harper70[reply]

Hi Vchimpanzee, I agree with you re: the term "re-implementing." It's confusing and I'm not quite sure how to replace this word. That's why I propose the entire last sentence be removed. I don't think the section would lose meaning if we removed it. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks again. Harper70 (talk) 15:51, 29 February 2016 (UTC)Harper70[reply]

Thanks for the tip on the SAP SE page! As an SAP employee, I can't alter/edit the page due to COI. So if you wouldn't mind making the change you recommend, and perhaps also removing the orange banner, that would be most appreciated!! Thanks again. Hi. Can you unmerge the Riccardo Silva page from the MP & Silva page? One is a person and one is a company and both deserve separate articles. These will be factual and useful and in no way promotional. I will also update the MP & Silva page. Also I will fully respect and follow Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons. Hello,

thank you for your help to date. Much appreciated. I have created a new article on Riccardo Silva in my sandbox - here https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Njm_78/sandbox. Would you mind commenting on it. It is difficult to judge if something is impartial after it has been written. Also one of the references is to a publication .PDF hosted on a related site, however this is independent. I have followed the BLP rules and the references are much better. I would appreciate any help you can give. Best Regards Njm 78 (talk) 14:38, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Uechi-Ryu--Help with Edit War

[edit]

Sorry to bother, but a user: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Special:Contributions/32.97.110.58 keeps changing the order of the Major Organization section without explanation. I reverted the edit and requested this person discuss it on the Talk page for Uechi-Ryu. I also asked for a more senior member to vet the situation.

As I explain on the Talk: It is very subjective which organization "is more bigger important awesome" than another. For example, currently, the first organization listed is very small, the third is bigger than the second and the first, but advocates of the fifth could argue their organization is bigger than all of them!

I am not aware of a way to OBJECTIVELY resolve such fights, but I would like it to end. I fear members of every organization could potentially play with the order to satisfy whatever personal agenda the member has. For the record, I have not ordered/re-ordered the organizations based on what I think since it is not objective and the situation changes.

Thanks!98.227.140.14 (talk) 06:58, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help desk

[edit]

I'm sorry for not answering you but I am having very hard and sore time in my real life. I'm going to mean my concept better is Helpdesk. Greetings and regards. Dawid2009 (talk) 09:32, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Regarding to Banditry I see complexities in this concepts. In my native language (this is Polish), I know two terms which are relevant to the banditry by sematic field. First one means to a thiefs in the mordern cities by band gropus, and second one means to a robbery (ceintarly robbery, not the thiefs) over the centuries, for example in the mountains, forests, valleies by band groups. Sometimes for the Poles, the second option means to this activity but only in the Carpathian Mountains (it is cs:Zbojnictví). In In a Polish Wikipedia there aren't any relevant articles to these two concepts, but most propably nl:Struikroverij and ar:حرابة also are the interesing things to this concept. I am not sure that in d:Q10968653 means to the identical and the same concept. However, I also see in this group some concepts which mean to the banditry in India.

My second question on the help desk was a suggest to List of types of football megred with Variants of association football. I see similar Interwiki in these both links. Dawid2009 (talk) 12:18, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, Do you can make a copyedit in my sandbox and second sandbox? It is about Paper Soccer. I would be grateful. Regards. Dawid2009 (talk) 12:18, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I want. If you don't see any lines where copyedit is needed, let's go to delte of the copyedit's templatle in my sandbox. It would be my second question. Regards. Dawid2009 (talk) 14:18, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
What do you think about include Template:Huh in relevant parts of these sandboxes? Dawid2009 (talk) 14:26, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Buddy Holly discography

[edit]

Thank you for your response. There was only limited instances of records crediting "Buddy Holly and the Three Tunes", and it seems to encompass his solo work anyways. I guess the best way to handle that would be to add it to the chronology as a solo act, since the backing band only existed in the studio.

As for Buddy's group, the Crickets, it becomes a bit confusing due to the fact that they split, and were even releasing records at the same time as one another, hence why it may be best to keep the chronologies for the Crickets and Holly's solo work separate. While releases that credit "Buddy Holly and the Crickets" make classifying easy enough, what approach should be taken for the album, The "Chirping" Crickets? The album was released as the Crickets, but a few years later, was re-released as Buddy Holly and the Crickets. -Disco dude rock (talk) 04:55, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Horace Silver

[edit]

I have requested on numerous occasions to have this info removed from Horace's Page. (Bassist Christian McBride revealed in 2007 that Silver had Alzheimer's disease. [104).) I tired to go through your network, but received some smug comments that were totally off base.

I even went as far as contacting McBride personally about the issue. He called and told me he was sorry and that he would request that is gets deleted, but the could not make any promises because of how you people operate. I told him he is not a doctor and he should not repeat gossip or hearsay. I also told him I know his father who is also a bassist and he would like unkind remarks in print about his father.

This is his info for someone from this org to contact him and get this info deleted from Horace's.

E-mail<redacted>.

Contact Information Management Andre Guess GuessWorks, Inc. <redacted>

All that Horace has contributed to world music and humanity and you people still like to print inaccurate info. It is shameful and hurtful to family members and the information totally irrelevant to the man himself.

I would appreciate a response and have this matter taken care of.

Re: You user:Bzuk were the one who added the sentence that I have a problem with, so I'll ask you. The article does not explain what an "F-85" is, but this one sentence and a note at the end seem to suggest the term "F-85" was defined.

Deeday-UK did not seem to object to my changing the redirect for "F-85" to an American car from the 1960s, but I decided to create a disambiguation page "F85" when I saw the other uses. Ruslik_Zero 17:36, 28 November 2016 (UTC) You have also asked this, and had three replies, at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions#Incorrect info on COLONEL ABRAMS page, Please only ask in one place, and please continue the discussion there, not here - Arjayay (talk) 17:41, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello,

Since I am new to this finding it difficult to response to you or anyone on Talk. Tell me what do I need to do to get Colonel Abrams page updated with correct info? Baybreezz (talk) 18:20, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Elizabeth Clark

[edit]

I received a message from you about this. I understand that there are issues still about an image of a book cover for which I could not guarantee the copyright.

I was in discussion with Nthep after my first submission who suggested I first get the article right, then think about the images. So I have removed the reference to the problem image and now would like to know if the article can be included in Wikipaedia.

I will need to make an entry in the disambiguation page for Elizabeth Clark. I am not sure how to do this, could you please tell me how it can be achieved. Presumably the following text would be OK "Elizabeth Clark (1875 - 1972) Children's storyteller, author and lecturer. "

Once this is complete I would still like to investigate the possibility of including a bookcover using Non-Free Content Criteria as Nthep suggested I might.Pogga D (talk) 19:36, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"If I left you a message: please answer on your talk page, as I am watching it." I came here because I didn't know if you watched an IP address's talk page.

Thank you for telling me about it! I had seen the response, so I used it and went around fixing this spelling error on pages that I could find. 208.95.51.72 (talk) 21:56, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I need your help.

The TV series "Alias", {https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Alias_(TV_series)}, needs logos for each season. It needs a picture for each season's dvd cover on each season's page. I would do this but I don't know how. Could you please help me with this? THANK YOU!!!!! :)
