Mitch Hawker polls
[edit]VSA72, first let me thank you for your recent help in tidying up quite a few amusement park/ride articles. It is much appreciated! As for the Mitch Hawker poll, you will come across articles from time to time that still have it listed, but at this point, the poll should be removed (reference this discussion). And definitely, we should not be adding them back to articles at this point. If you think we need to revisit this, please feel free to start a new discussion at WT:WikiProject Amusement Parks. Thanks! --GoneIn60 (talk) 15:34, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
- GoneIn60, thanks for the input. Feel free to improve either of the two articles I created: Hyperion (roller coaster) and Troy (roller coaster). VSA72 (talk) 15:35, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I spend most of my limited time policing articles I've worked on, but definitely, I'll put those on my radar. --GoneIn60 (talk) 21:03, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
[edit]Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

Nu (Armenian letter) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Nu (Armenian letter), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Concern regarding Draft:Nu (Armenian letter)

Your draft article, Draft:Nu (Armenian letter)
[edit]Hello, VSA72. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Nu".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Hey man im josh (talk) 12:22, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
