Hi Typhoon2013! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Disambiguation link notification for September 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Timeline of Philippine storms, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Typhoon Lupit, Tropical Storm Kammuri and Tropical Storm Vongfong (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:03, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello, Typhoon2013, and thank you for your contributions!
Some text in an article that you worked on Timeline of the 2011 Pacific typhoon season, appears to be directly copied from another Wikipedia article, Timeline of the 2013 Pacific typhoon season. Please take a minute to double-check that you've properly attributed the source text in your edit summary.
It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Timeline of the 2011 Pacific typhoon season at any time. MadmanBot (talk) 22:17, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
Hello Typhoon2013. I was just wondering what you are trying to do at 1999 Orissa cyclone. If you would like the redirect to be deleted, you can follow the procedure at WP:RFD, but my advice would be to leave it alone, as it is doing no harm. Thanks, — This, that and the other (talk) 04:38, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

CMA Tropical Depression
Can you provide me with a source that actually states that the CMA monitored a tropical depression on June 14/15. According to the HKO the system in question was not a tropical depression and was just a monsoon depression. If you cant then i will be forced to remove it from the article per the rules on original research.Jason Rees (talk) 21:50, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm VQuakr. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Typhoon Haiyan (disambiguation) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! VQuakr (talk) 18:23, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Typhoon Haiyan, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. This is your last warning. The next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at 2013 Pacific typhoon season, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on Northern Hemisphere summary timeline
Hi Typhoon2013,
I have a comment on your Northern Hemisphere summary timeline. You put Tropical Depression 30W and Depression BOB 05 as seperate systems on the timeline. However, Depression BOB 05 was actually a regeneration of Tropical Depression 30W in the Bay of Benegal. Perhaps you could display Tropical Depression 30W and Depression BOB 05 as a single system on the timeline with a gap showing where the system was extratropical (during the basin crossing). You could also title the bar displaying the system "30W-BOB 05". I am not saying you have to do this, but meteorologically, Tropical Depression 30W and Depression BOB 05 were the same tropical cyclone.
Sincerely,
Hurricane Andrew (444) 14:41, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts
Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/IPhonehurricane95, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

2014 articles
I reverted most of the 2014 articles you made. There is no need for any of them until there info on them, such as forecasts or when an actual storm forms. BTW, have you thought of actually making real articles with real content? It seems lately you've been creating lots of disambiguation pages, which, while not entirely pointless, don't help much for the project. It'd be great that someone with your enthusiasm for tropical cyclones and Wikipedia to work on articles and improve them :) Let me know if you need any help with that, I'd love to be of assistance. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:04, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, did you have any thoughts on this? I'd love to strike up a conversation instead of reverting each other ;) --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 03:24, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
Notes
Hey. Just as a heads up, the storm images on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane wind scale are meant to be of those that made landfall at the respective category (for example, Isaac is shown for Category 1 as it made landfall at that intensity in Louisiana). Maria was not a Category 1 hurricane at landfall. Also, please do not change the end date of the 2013 Atlantic/Pacific hurricane seasons until tomorrow night as the season hasn't officially ended yet. Thanks. Tropical Cyclone naming lists
Please do not add naming lists in to any of the Southern Pacific season articles, as they are not needed and are redundant since the names are mentioned elsewhere.Jason Rees (talk) 23:24, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
Could you please stop creating articles like these? They are pointless, and in the Atlantic especially, they don't use "01L". Even "Tropical Depression One" is pointless, as most of the storms were named, and thus they aren't widely known as TD1. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 06:02, 25 December 2013 (UTC)
