Re: List of awards and nominations received by Rufus Wainwright
Thank you for taking the time to take a look at the 'List of awards and nominations received by Rufus Wainwright' article. I have already updated the list to honor 2 of the suggestions you made, and I provided an explanation for "original music" on the talk page. I would appreciate it if you would take another look at your earliest convenience. If you still have an issue with the term "original music", please let me know. I find this term to be used often, and see it used with other music articles, but I can try to elaborate further if needed. Thanks again! Whataworld06 (talk) 22:08, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Re: FL
Oh, the dream FL has a chance, at last. :) Sure, I'm up for it. Question, like always, what do you want me to do? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:44, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'll look for them, but I gotta log out in a little while, so I would probably have a good chance in finding some today and finding more tomorrow. If that's cool. Sure, we can split the table thing. You do the first half, so I can see what format it should be in, unlike my last catastrophe table setting. Yes, our dream FL. :) Also, I was right, you are working on your next FA. I knew it. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:52, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, I didn't find any yesterday, but with the tips that you left me, that'll work. Also, do we replace the refs. or what? I'll do my best on the table format. Are you done with your half? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 21:35, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm gonna help. But, you haven't answered my question about the refs; do we replace them or leave them? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 22:58, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, I wasn't sure if we were doing that or not. Sure, we can slit the half in a sandbox, that works. Um, I say Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan, May 22, 1994, does that work? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 23:10, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Works for me and yes I get it. ;) I'll take my sections and will start them in one of my sandboxes, hope that's cool, and tell you when I'm done with 'em. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 23:21, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Will do. Also, does the WCW era begin with "Barry Windham (2) and Dustin Rhodes (2)"? Wait, the first 5 or for my section? My sandbox will be here. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 23:30, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Will do. Also, sorry for asking so many questions, is just that I wanna help you get this to FL. :) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 23:45, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- I won't let you down. :) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:07, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

- Cool, I missed Truco. :) Now, my second question; do you think you can help me out with a DYK? suggestion for Taboo Tuesday (2004)? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 02:38, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

WP:FLC update box
Hi. Do you mind not updating the backlog box following FLC closures? Closing FLCs is at least an 8-step process, and I frequently edit conflict with you as I'm doing it. Today I E/Ced twice. I know you're just trying to help, but it just creates extra work for me. You can still do daily updates at 00:00 UTC or later so that the nominations that are 10-days old are listed. Regards, Matthewedwards (talk • contribs • email) 19:59, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- OK, thanks. It's just that it stalls my script more than anything. Regards, Matthewedwards (talk • contribs • email) 20:09, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey SRX, I was working on this, a "List of wrestlers in SmackDown vs. Raw 2009" and I stopped where I was, I remembered you (I think) trying to doing something like this a while ago, making a large table that listed every wrestler a table with columns for every gaming system, and in the individual rows, there was checks and x's (whether or not they were featured in that system). I'm 90% sure it was you, so let me know. iMatthew 21:37, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well I'm trying to expand the article, into it's own list with it's own prose, etc. It would most definitely work in this kind of article, but maybe it's not needed. Either way - would you like to help me with this one? iMatthew 21:54, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
Help with article
Hi SRX! I noticed you make a lot of contributions on the WP:FLC page, so I figured, if anyone could help it would be you. I'm new to editing list pages, so I'm not to sure what constitutes a FL or not. I was looking for a Peer Review page, or a quality scale to compare against, but all I could find was 'List' Rating. Anyway, I was wondering if you could look through List of Brownlow Medal winners if you had a chance, just to give some feedback on how to improve the article. Any help is appreciated. :) \ / (⁂) 23:13, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Re:List of King of the Ring winners
Yeah, I'm not entirely convinced that a new page is really needed. It doesn't add much that isn't already in the main article and there is still list there. -- Scorpion0422 02:40, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
CMJMEM
yeah, I told him the samething about telling editors who only want to get rid of the tables instead of everyone. he was trying to turn a new vote in his favor. He removed my warning though.--WillC 00:23, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- I think we should have just let him challenge the consensus. There was only four or five people who really had a problem with it and most of them just wanted simple changes done to it. Ips votes and people outside project could not be allowed. Ips have the most problem with it and he had a fit over people not part of the project voting so he would have had to agree. The tables would have probably stayed then. If the tables were removed then we could have challenged the consensus that was made there. Though that would have created an edit war. I believe people will soon start one on the TNA side. If you don't mind, watch the TNA roster.--WillC 01:42, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

- When are you planning on nominating Over the Edge for FAC?--WillC 06:19, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, you might want to wait. It looks like Lockdown might get restarted. I've got no opposes or supports. So we don't have two at the sametime.--WillC 19:46, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- I feel it is going to be closed here in a few days. Not because of discussions. If it gets closed here in a few days I'm going to renominate it right away. I actually only got Giant to give a few comments. He said he would give some before I renomiated it. The guy who copyedited it just did that on his own after I renominated. I just asked for some feed back on the prose. He just took it under his own power to work on the entire article.--WillC 23:28, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- Probably, but no one has edited the thing for two days. I just thought to find out when you were nominating, so incase Lockdown does get closed we won't have two up at the sametime.--WillC 23:45, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

- I think I can handle it. So you need the table pronto? - Its cool, I was just asking, cause I'm writing the Event for Night of Champions, and don't want to "lose" focus on the article and then working on the list. Copyedit request Over the Edge (1999)
It's not that I get annoyed by wrestling articles, it's that I don't really understand them, and that makes me doubt my value as a copyeditor. Also I am extremely stretched at the moment, both in and out of WP, so I don't know when I could get to it. I'll try and take a look, but it will be several days before I can. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Brianboulton (talk) 19:57, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
Since your oppose vote on the above FLC, I've made significant changes, so if you could review the article and make any specific comments, that would be very helpful. Thanks. ArtVandelay13 (talk) 09:17, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Re:FLRC
I know. I've been extremely busy with work for college lately, so I haven't had a chance to archive the old nominations. It's not like FLRC is backlogged or anything though, so letting them sit isn't a big deal. That said, I'll try to archive them in time for the Tuesday running of GimmeBot. Thanks for the note though. I am well aware of the irony of my trying remove potentially dramatic threads causing drama and I apologize for edit warring. I don't suppose you would mind just archiving both discussions (I would prefer that they be removed) because I can not see the current one going anywhere good. -- Scorpion0422 02:00, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

List question
Is the history to the TNA World Tag Team Championship big enough for a list?--WillC 21:21, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'm talking about the history on the page. The NWA Tag Team Championship has nothing to do with the TNA Tag Championship. TNA has never considered any of their belts continuing the NWA History. They consider them totally different belts with new title histories. TNA didn't change their history on their website to add the NWA Champions until around September of last year. I'll make another list called List of World Tag Team Champions in TNA to add that since a consensus was made on the TNA Championship talk page to end the never ending edit war. I was wondering if the official history is long enough to be taken to FL.--WillC 21:31, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well you said NWA and you haven't watched TNA that much and your comments on the Heavyweight Championship's talk page, I thought you were talking about making the list to add the NWA Tag Team Championship history in TNA like with the WCW Tag Team Championship list that is cut up with the sections like NWA, WCW, and WWF. I just wanted to make sure since TNA Bound for Glory was to small for FL, I was wondering if 8 different champions and a vacancy is long enough.--WillC 21:42, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I was wondering. By the time I decide to make the list, it will probably be big enough.--WillC 23:08, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Considering there is going to be three or four more reigns on the belts very soon, with Beer Money, Inc losing the belts to Team 3D soon and The Motor City Machineguns will eventually win them, plus I can add that reign that TNA does not recognize (Eric Young and Kaz) it will probably be long enough. I see around Against All Odds (2009) it being long enough.--WillC 20:29, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- No I'm just wondering. The X Division title is already something I'm going to do. I just been wondering if it was long enough or not. I've got the 2008 ppvs to finish before I start on any of that.--WillC 21:45, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

I've been thinking about who to ask and I just clicked the first link I could find to someone and that was you. Is there a way I can get an image reviewed to see if it is reliable enough to be used. There is this user who uploads alot of posters without licenses and sources. I've begun to notice that he just copies and paste licenses and sources from other posters to his after people ask for the license and source for the image. (I have proof of this as well) I was wondering if there was a way to get some of his posters reviewed to see if they past the fair use guideline and the sources are factual.--WillC 06:32, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, but there is not like a image review board or something like that around?--WillC 22:43, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Okay. Now that I think of it maybe there needs to be an image review board. I'm too lazy to try and get one started on here though, if it is even possible. Well thanks.--WillC 22:49, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

- Okay. Yeah I'll review Over the Edge when it goes up for FAC. Been too busy lately in real life to even feel like reading an article. Hopefully when you nominate it I'll have alot more free time. Also, what is the template that you use to start a review to get an image deleted? Image:Mianeventmafia08.jpg needs to be deleted.--WillC 03:33, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. I was thinking about getting that or Huggle but done neither. Which is better?--WillC 03:43, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- No, I have Internet Explorer. Been wanting to download FireFox but Internet Explorer 7 gives me all I need. Plus my Internet virus died a few days ago and I have yet to upload my new subscription.--WillC 03:49, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

You are the FL reviewer, you tell me.
Seeing you have got a few list to FL and are a reviewer, I would like your opinion on the list I'm working on at the moment and see if I'm following your example for the WCW Tag Team Champions list and the ECW TV champions list correctly. It is not sourced but it will be. Here is the link. WillC 08:02, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I used the sortname template for a while but it just wouldn't work right for me, I'll try it again. I'll just remove the banner, the notes section for the vacant reign will tell. I'll remove a few of the notes, though the King of the Mountain notes I would like to keep because no champion ever retained in the match till Joe so that was always a big deal with the reign. I just began on the list yesterday, I was going to place that stuff in there, I just haven't yet.WillC 17:47, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Miz and Morrison
WWE.com has the World Tag Team Titles listed on the ECW Superstar page under the ECW Championship.
That means that they consider the belts ECW property.
Remember when they had the draft, and all the champions took their belts to the brand they were drafted to?
Same thing here. Whoever has the belts, that's the brand it belongs to.
Just following procedure. If WWE says the belts are ECW property, that's how we have to list it here.
Vjmlhds 19:09, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Look on WWE.com and see for yourself.
I always thought Wiki policy was that whatever brand that WWE.com had a title listed under was the brand it belonged to.
WWE.com has has the belts listed under ECW. So now all of the sudden we (Wiki) say no, they're Raw's belts?
I always thought that whatever WWE said in regards to this stuff goes.
If they're listed under ECW, then that's who they say they belong to.
Vjmlhds 19:17, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
You're making this harder than what it needs to be.
The belt belongs to the brand of the title holder.
Examples:
Matt Hardy took the U.S. Title to ECW when he was drafted
Ditto HHH and the WWE Title (Raw--SD)
Kane with the ECW Title (ECW--Raw)
Mark Henry brought the ECW Title back with him when he won it.
When CM Punk cashed in MITB, the World Title went from SD--Raw
And When Shelton Benjamin won the U.S. belt from Hardy, it went back to SD.
All these moves were reflected on WWE.com when the belts changed hands.
Vjmlhds 19:36, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't matter when they were.
The point is that whatever brand WWE.com lists a title under, that's where we have to list it here.
WWE.com lists the World Tag Team Titles under ECW, so therefore Wikipedia has to list them there as well.
What other "confirmation" do you need?
WWE.com switched them from Raw to ECW.
Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
Vjmlhds 19:43, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Sorry to butt in, but John Morrison and The Miz held the WWE Tag Team Championship, while they were on ECW. Those championships were still Smackdown property. SimonKSK 19:46, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
You are correct SimonKSK, WWE.com still listed the belts under SD during that time, and that's how we listed them here.
But now WWE.com has them listed under ECW.
My whole point is that we (Wiki) have to list the titles under whatever brand WWE.com lists them under.
Right now, WWE.com has the World Tag Team Championship listed under ECW.
So therefore, that's how we have to list them here.
Wiki has to match up with WWE.com, that's the way it's always been
Vjmlhds 20:03, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
They have removed the belts from Raw and moved them to ECW, therefore they are technically ECW property.
Vjmlhds 20:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
I thought Wiki policy was that we list the belts under the brand WWE.com lists them on.
Where am I wrong?
