Disambiguation link notification for April 18
Hi. When you recently edited Narayanan Vaghul, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IAS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Question about edit warring
Hi. I have disparately been trying to update the Sun-Earth Day page for several days. No matter what I do, I'm reverted by to old information that is out dated. In the last edit, I removed even more content than we there in the first place. However, I was once again reverted back to old incorrect information. I look at other NASA pages and the Earth Day page where I see pages of information about their eduction programs. Whey can't I simply do the same?? Our only intent is to inform the readers about Sun-Earth Day and where to go to get more information. However, that too seems to be a problem and is also reverted back to old/incorrect information. It seems that we are being single our for some reason and I'm not sure how to proceed. I would appreciate your help in this matter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.15.9.90 (talk) 06:15, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

Question about edit warring
Hi TowTrucker, Thanks for your welcome.
I am now editing an article which I think is highly subject to edit warring. In fact the subject is an airport being built in a village without the population's consent. So the airport developers and residents have very different views about the airport.
Someone already edited what I wrote with wrong informations and he added very personnal views at the same time. So I edited it rigt away adding references. He will surely come back to it again.
Can I seek page protection right now or do I have to wait?
Sorry about such an unpleasant question. Thank you. Jstrob (talk) 11:13, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi again, As I told you before, the same guy came back again to erase my "controversies" section. He must be friend with the promoters of the airport. Jstrob (talk) 19:51, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Hello Tow Trucker,
Thank you for writing to me in such a pleasant manner. This is a new experience for me in wikipedia. However, I don'r understand what you are saying. When you say: "Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media", What do you mean? I have used EXACTLY the same sources as the ALL the other editors. The ONLY thing I have done is add more information from EXACTLY the same sources, is this not allowed by wikipedia? And if so, why not? Shiatsushi (talk) 16:17, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Again, I don't understand you very well. First, when you say valid reasons for my edits being reverted I hope you don't mean: "The text you added just isn't supported by the reference. IRWolfie- (talk) 11:32, 11 April 2012 (UTC)" when I have given the exact two sentences that support it from THAT PARTICULAR reference, and when IRWolfie refused to answer my question about being more specific (In what way doesn't the source support it?)19:28, 16 April 2012 (UTC) Haven't you read it properly? Too many similar cases for me to mention them now. Second, when you say I must make sure I use reliable sources, I should point out (again) that I have used EXACTLY the same sources the other editors have, none other. Strangely, I read from IRWolfie that "Sources are not always declared completely reliable". IRWolfie- (talk) 09:27, 17 April 2012 (UTC), which means that he decides which bits are reliable (the ones he agrees with) and which are not. This is a privilege I obviously don't enjoy. He also lies when he says: "We already have mentioned the lack of trials in the article." IRWolfie- (talk) 21:37, 16 April 2012 (UTC) which as anyone can see in the article, or in its history, is not true. I'll give you more details of the "impartiality" of wikipedia and its editors later. Shiatsushi (talk) 23:27, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

A cupcake for you!
Thanks for the welcome, and am i just supposed to do 4 of these: ~, or put my name after it too? But the preview of this message automatically adds my name:/ Lightvd (talk) 19:51, 22 April 2012 (UTC) |
- Hi! You are just supposed to do four of these: ~ . It will automatically insert your name and a timestamp. This is only one kind of signature but it is the recommended one. You can learn more about signatures here. Also, you might consider starting a user page for yourself. --TowTrucker talk 22:15, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

- Sorry, my bad. I reverted one edit but didn't notice that the revision I reverted to was also vandalized. Tow Trucker talk 23:34, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Heh, oops. I went ahead and rolled the page back to the last clean edit. - Uhai (talk · contribs) 23:39, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

AVN
Quotes should not have their spelling or grammar corrected, which is why sic is used. Did you refer to the original quote from AVN or did you just assume the spelling should be changed based on what you think the intent of the author was?137.111.13.167 (talk) 03:47, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- My bad. I reverted changes. Thanks for pointing out. I can't really check because that reference link seems to be broken now. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia! --Tow Trucker talk 04:00, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
