Archiving talk page

Earlier MiszaBot III archived talk page but I can't see any archivebox and also that the bot archived in archive 3. Could someone please also help me in archive my talk page. I believe that I have done something wrong. Torreslfchero (talk) 19:54, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

I think Miszabot is doing its job right - for some reason, when you set it up with this edit, you set the variable "counter" to 3, and that's why the bot has started with Archive 3. If you like, I can move that archive to Archive 1 and reset the counter.
Miszabot doesn't set up an archive box for you, you have to do that yourself. There is the simple Template:Archive box collapsible which I use, or Template:Archives, or you can look at other peoples' talk pages and see what they use - I have seen quite elaborate ones.   • Project Coordinators have been chosen for effective administration of the project. Dipankan001 has been chosen as the lead coordinator. Vibhijain and TheSpecialUser has been elected as the coordinator and the vice-coordinator respectively. Each placeholder is expected to distribute awards to those who have assisted in completing the task of the month. General administration of the project will be done by the lead coordinator. The coordinator will have a general watch over the project to make sure that it is not inactive, along with preparing the newsletter. The vice-coordinator will further invite those users, who have been regularly contributing to IPL related articles, to join the project. The term for each coordinator will be of 6 months.
  • Chennai Super Kings have been chosen as the collaboration of the month. Editors will try to get the article to FA or GA status. At the end on the month, contributing editors will be given the following awards:
    The IPL barnstar - Will be given to all those who will help in getting the article to FA/GA status.
    The golden wiki barnstar - Will be given to the editor with most number of edits on the article during the month of June.
    The silver wiki barnstar - Will be given to the editor with the second most number of edits on the article during the month of June.
    The bronze wiki barnstar - Will be given to the editor with the third most number of edits on the article during the month of June.
    The citation barnstar - Will be given to the top 3 editors who will improve and add most number of refs.(The editors are requested to mention "ref+" or "refimprove" in their edit summary; in order to make reviewing easy)
    The copyedit barnstar - Will be given to the top 3 editors who will make the most number of copyedits. This includes minor changes, such as neutralizing, grammar correction, etc.
    The working editor's barnstar - Will be given to the top 3 editors who will dedicate most time in making new sections, fixing them (such as renaming, making sub-sections, etc.) or adding information which was not previously present in the article (recent announcements, facts, creating tables, etc.).
  • Members of the project can now add Template:User IPL Member to their userpage, which will indicate that they are an active member of WikiProject IPL. Also editor can award the IPL barnstar or the IPL barnstar of Merit to those users who are greatly involved in the project.

Highbeam Research

Hi. Not sure if you have applied for this or not but in a recent article on a 2004 independent Filipino movie I found this to be an incredible resource and found lots of Filipino newspaper articles not picked up by google. I strongly recommend this for anyone who edits articles on films and cinema personalities to get this asap as it wil be an invaluable research tool and will often turn up detailed articles which will not appear in google. You can gain access to the full articles by applying for it at Wikipedia:HighBeam/Applications. For sure it'll have tons on Indian actors and films which so far you've been unable to access on google. BTW, how is the Bollywod list building going. I promised a film barnstar at one point which I still promise should you fill out the 1950s and 1960s lists too!♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:48, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Kirayadar and Kaanch Ki Deewar

Hi Torreslfchero, I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner to your post on my talk page. I looked at the 2 articles and saw the refs you added. I still don't think those add much to the notability though. The refs have less info than the IMDB page. they just give a few details about director, cast, etc and a plot summary. Can you find any references of reviews of the film, or is there anything that says how it did in the box office? For now, I'll just put a notability tag on them. Awesome. Most 70s films wrere added by Dearest Pa7 in 2007/2008 I think but you might want to check, a few might be missing. 50s and 60s and of course 40s need doing but I'd say priority now is 60s if you've finished the 80s and 90s.. Haven't checked lately to see if you have. You've been magnificent help anyway in improving the resource on Hindi film on wikipedia. And don't worry about facing AFDs, I get them all of the time. You can be assured that anything you create filling in red links will not be deleted. But should you ever face an AFD again in the future, email me, I only doscivered the AFD afer messaging you. I've begun going through and starting the articles from 1940. They're very stubby though, primarily because I have a huge amount to get through. Any help you can give to expanding any of them would be greatly appreciated, like the director and cast. The goal eventually is to have a great coverage of all periods of Hindi cinematic history. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:07, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

What I can do is create the articles from films from a single year. If you could help add the director and cast, then I can start another batch and so on. Best to do it in manageable chunks I think. The idea is to get a base down from which any of them can be easily expanded. I'll finish 1941 shortly, so 1940 and 1941 films need the director and cast. July 2012 Newsletters

Monthly newsletter (July, 2012)
  • Current updates: The coordinator elections will be held soon! Keep your eyes on our project in mid-August for more.
  • Chennai Super Kings was selected as the FA/GA of the month, but due to lack of contributors to the article, we could not pass it as a GA. We're looking forward for contributors who are interested in the topic. The only problem with the article is to fix it's references and cite more reliable sources. If you do a lot of referencing work, you're most welcome!
  • An IRC meetup was held to discuss future plans of the project and to discuss ideas for new articles. Seven editors were a part of it. The log of the meeting can be founded here. We hope that more such meetups will talk place.
  • Our portal was launched early this month. You can find it here. We congratulate our vice-coordinator, Vibhijain, for working on this. Users are welcome to suggest new ideas to re innovate the portal and make it more customized. We also have a book, Book:Indian Premier League.
  • Knights of IPL, a new award, has been launched. It was earlier known as IPL barnstar 1. Created by User:Strike Eagle, this is the highest award given by our community, and, hence, shall never be given for completing Tasks of the month. For completing Task of the month, please feel free to distribute another award by our communnity: IPL Barnstar. To distribute it, type {{subst:IPL Barnstar}} and save the page.
