Hi,

It seems there is some misunderstanding. I did not make any changes to Dhoom 3. My connection is on a dynamic IP. So someone to whom this IP was allotted earlier may have made any such audit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.65.144.59 (talk) 21:12, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

If you did not make the edit I reverted then there's no reason to be concerned with the message I left. Tiderolls 21:20, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Uh, see [3]. Thanks and cheers - DVdm (talk) 17:00, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi, DVdm. I was more than willing to give Mmlov a second chance, even taking the belligerent edit summary into account, until I saw they had their second chance. Please keep watching the article. See ya 'round Tiderolls 17:57, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

what's your problem?

Why'd you just reverse my changes to the Porter Robinson page? They were totally constructive updates. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.94.253.2 (talk) 20:57, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

This is constructive? Tiderolls 20:59, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

I am new to all this. Could you please tell me why the link to my website is unacceptable? I recently started this as a research tool and it is being used by the University of Texas in Austin. I'd appreciate any guidance. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Citragupta (talkcontribs) 21:16, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Continued disruption of Asian media articles, again

I wrote to you back in October regarding continued disruption of Asian media articles and you protected some of them. I have now noticed that the editor(s) have gone over to some film articles doing the same, including removing the DVD cover/film poster and leaving them orphaned, which is how I found out about them. Doraemon: Nobita in the Wan-Nyan Spacetime Odyssey and Doraemon: Nobita's South Sea Adventure in particular since October 2012 have had these disruptions. I appreciate any protection and/or advice you might have to give in the situation. Thank you, Aspects (talk) 20:43, 22 January 2013 (UTC)

Actually the article has copy violations, this article actually look like an old version of the Spanish version, with copyright violation, non-neutral point of view and original researches. The problematic editor recently was expulsed from this Wikipedia. The actual version of the article in the spanish Wikipedia was cleaned entirely, from top to bottom, for me and the administrators of that Wikipedia. Clean this article section by section is a loss of time, i am editing the article in a personal page… Translating the actual Spanish version to English. --Cmonzonc (talk) 17:57, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

If your contention is correct you need to modify your approach to the task. Nothing in your message here addresses the points I raised on your talk page. Concerns with copyright violations need to be taken up at Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations. Tiderolls 18:04, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Another one!

Hey, Tide! Remember our pal IP: 50.81.90.92/Kezollinger, who you finally indeff'd a while back for no edit summaries, etc.? Well, we've got another one with the same issue and the same love of these #$%^&*(! elimination shows such as Top Chef, called Topchef5050. This one one refuses to provide edit summaries (in their entire career editing here, they have never provided one) or to use an article talk space (ditto -- whole career, never). I've put a warning on their talk page, but based on their edit history, I fear it with fall on deaf ears. Would you mind taking a peek, and seeing if a gentle swat on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper would get his/her attention? Grazie! --Drmargi (talk) 03:29, 7 March 2013 (UTC)

IP address

I acquired the IP address that you have specified, on 12-20-2012, when I switched to Comcast. I did not have that IP address on the date that you have specified in your reversal. I have never edited a Wikipedia article. Thank you. 24.11.248.249 (talk) 22:33, 7 March 2013 (UTC)

TP violation rules

The rules plainly say ANY editor can delete TP violations! Please review the policy. In fact, JIMBO had a comment about it not too long ago but I can't find it right now.HammerFilmFan (talk) 14:27, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

About deletions

Hi Tide rolls. I cannot reply to your post to me on HammerFilmFan's page, because he has just deleted both your comments and mine. Before making my comment I did indeed go through the very same rules that you are suggesting that I read and based myself on those. In specific, where it says that "Editing — or even removing — others' comments is sometimes allowed. But you should exercise caution in doing so, and normally stop if there is any objection. Some examples of appropriately editing others' comments:" This is followed by a wide spectrum of situations under which it is ok to delete. My post requesting clarification did not fall under any of these categories. At any rate, by the looks of it, it would appear that this behaviour is recurring - I see that you yourself have brought this to his attention - I will therefore not bother with any further; there are far better things to do out there - like building the Wikipedia. Help with Colonia del Valle article

Hi Tide rolls. I would like if you could weight-in on Colonia del Valle's article recent edits. I don't want to engage in an edit war, and you may add some insight into the matter. Regards. -- Marco Guzman, Jr  Talk  15:49, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

Yes, Marco, avoid edit warring. The Colonia del Valle problems have been ongoing for too long. I believe that it is time for you to pursue some sort of dispute resolution for this article. I do not find myself sure enough regarding the sources on either side to offer an opinion, so you should probably seek out the help of editors at Wikipedia:Third opinion and/or Wikipedia:Reliable sources/noticeboard. If either of those venues do not seem appropriate, or if you need help navigating them, please let me know. Tiderolls 16:49, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

Indeed. A small article of interest to very few people, but I have an interest (one of too many) in keeping these California school articles at a certain level of acceptability. Thanks again. – S. Rich (talk) 05:38, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

The "dispute" isn't a dispute at all, but an example of reverting constant POV pushing from Croatian nationalists who edit against WP:CONSENSUS to push their agenda. It is a constant process of reverting nationalist anon IPs at Kajkavian dialect, Chakavian dialect, Croatian language, and Serbo-Croatian language. There is a single language that we most commonly call "Serbo-Croatian" in English, but that Croatians refuse to recognize for political reasons. The linguists and non-nationalist editors are all agreed on the issue (see Talk:Croatian language, Talk:Serbo-Croatian language, and Talk:Serbian language for the discussions), but there is a constant stream of anon IPs and WP:SPAs wandering through to make their political point before being reverted. The current anon IP, who registered to avoid WP:3RR, is just the most recent of the wanderers, albeit a bit more persistent than most. --Taivo (talk) 07:29, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi, Taivo. Forgive me if my message led you to believe that I thought you were acting in bad faith. My only concern was that you avoid a block while trying to make your point. Thanks for your attention to this matter. Regards Tiderolls 10:51, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

My grievance at AN/I

I am aware that making a presentation as long as I did and other similar things has not proven to be the best idea. At the same time, I have this uncanny tendency to know when someone is pulling the wool over my eyes. Not only do admins not appear to be very interested in the case but the signals coming from one particular admin is that this will backfire. In seven years of editing including two short blocks (both overturned before expiry), I have never had such a negative feeling as I have these past 24 hours. I am not paranoid, but I can smell a protection racket here. Bobrayner is "one of the boys", seems to be beyond reproach. All the indications from newcomers to that thread tells me this.

But with me believing my edits to be in line with policies and consensus, the problem is not going to go away. Sooner or later the dust will settle, the thread will be archived, I may possibly be sanctioned one way or another, but the disruption will continue ad infinitum because nobody is interested yet we have this marvelous thing called ARBMAC which I now see discriminates selected editors.

If you see that I have genuinely done something wrong, I far rather be told what this is and what the best path would have been. I have only been familiar with all this dramafest for the past year and the occasions saw me on the filthy end of the inquiries. Not somewhere I plan to return. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 15:40, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Evlekis, I do apologize for my facetious post at AN/I. Long night, little sleep and bad day at work; none of which is your fault. I will look into your post in depth after work; others may act before I can apply myself. Thanks for coming here to discuss the matter. Tiderolls 15:45, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
Cheers TR, sorry about the rough day, hope tomorrow goes better. No rush, any time you like. Regards. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 19:01, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Keep an eye on the the articles Gospel for Asia, K. P. Yohannan, Believers Church

I feel the need of protection on page thats why I try to do that. Any way I will leave that job to the admins and moderators. But Being an admin of this site keep an eye on these articles Gospel for Asia, K. P. Yohannan, Believers Church. On a recent search on google about the person concerned here I came across a lot of blogs on the first 2 pages. It seems that all the following blogs were started on the same day. Even though the name of the authors are different I feel all the blogs are started by a same person and same people. Recently wikipedia.org was forced to closed down a discussion about the person involved here because of massive puppetry. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:K._P._Yohannan. I feel these people shouldn't be allowed to abuse free resources like this. The blogs are

Reverted edit to Gamate

Hello, you have reversed one of my edits to the Gamate page. I own the only known copy of this game, and here is photographic evidence that the game C1-070 is in fact titled "Insect War". Thanks for your time.
