Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Blu Cantrell may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Reliable sources

[edit]

Please note that only third party sources are considered reliable sources per WP:3PARTY. Personal websites are not third party sources and therefore not considered reliable. Hzh (talk) 13:10, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Smoke Break, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Placeholders. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Uncivil edit comment

[edit]

When you reverted an edit of mine, you accused me of lying. That is not WP:CIVIL. If you think another user is not telling the truth, what you can do is saying something like "I don't think that is correct", and ask for proof/sources/argument/whatever. Please discuss the edit, not the editor. Paradoctor (talk) 10:13, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Carrie Underwood. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. -- WV 22:40, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Winkelvi , I never added any "commentary" or "my own personal analysis". If you read the page, you would see that I simply added sourced statements already provided on the page to the lead, slighly rewriting the phrases to adapt them to the statement, You don't include sources on the lead, only throughout the page. Once you add the sourced statement to the page and it is relevant enough for the lead, you add it to the lead without source. I've edited Wikipedia pages for seven years now, I know how to work here. TheHipHopRapping (talk) 17:28, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Carrie Underwood. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block.

Please take your concerns about content to the article talk page and start a discussion there rather than continuing to edit war. Thanks, -- WV 19:46, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Cry Pretty (album)

[edit]

Don't be lazy: word things your own way. Don't take parts of what Billboard said (like "debut frame", which is not a phrase you came up with, and basically all of what you added to Cry Pretty (album) in the commercial performance section) and pass it off as your own, because it's not. That's debatably a copyright violation. You've been reverted now, so don't restore it again without discussion. Thanks. Also, for somebody whose username is literally "TheHipHopRapping", you seem to be incredibly preoccupied with Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and other such artists that are not hip hop and don't rap... bit odd. Feelings hurt lol not a fan!

[edit]

Sorry if the ending of my good faith rollback message at Cardi B was messed up, Norton was scanning my phone and lagged my phone out as I was typing. What I meant to say was, editing breif summary at the top is not required if it just notes the winning. The only thing should be at the bottom, is a more detailed summary of the winning. All musical artists' articles notes winning of the award at the top of their breif summary, it's not just any award it's one of the biggest and most respectable awards that a musical artist can achieve.
