Congratulations, Lapadite! The list you nominated, List of accolades received by Carol (film), has been promoted to featured status, recognizing it as one of the best lists on Wikipedia. The nomination discussion has been archived.
This is a rare accomplishment and you should be proud. If you would like, you may nominate it to appear on the Main page as Today's featured list. Keep up the great work! Cheers, PresN (talk) via FACBot (talk) 00:25, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Amy Lee article

[edit]

Hi Lapadite!

Re: your last edit on Amy Lee's article, you said that she's an only child and cited the first Metal Hammer reference. In the Metal Hammer interview, she says that it was just her and her parents again after her sister died. She doesn't say she was an only child. She still had living siblings, they just didn't live with her and her parents. An only child is someone without any siblings, not one with siblings living away from home. I did a cursory Google search but didn't find anything where Lee identifies as an only child (except a memorabilia website that clearly copy and pastes artist info from Wikipedia).

Let me know if you have another source please! Thanks. MSTwitch666 (talk) 23:15, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to participate in a research

[edit]

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

DYK for Manifesto (2015 film)

[edit]

On 3 November 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Manifesto (2015 film), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Cate Blanchett played 13 different characters in the multi-screen film installation Manifesto? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Manifesto (2015 film). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Manifesto (2015 film)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

"List of best-selling female rappers WIKI"

[edit]

Hello, i compiled a sheet of all of Doja Cat's certified sales from 18 countries which was the number i used in the initial edit I made. Am i able to email you the sheet as proof of her claimed sales? (@jayslipa) Jayslipa (talk) 19:16, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. That's not necessary. Wikipedia articles are based on the information directly provided by secondary reliable sources. So, if you find a reliable source that states her total record sales, it can be cited in the article. Lapadite (talk) 16:06, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Billy Corgan

[edit]

Being a singer or a guitarist is implied in the musician term. WP: Lead should be specific in what they are known for--ThisIs00k (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 16:13, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nicki Minaj

[edit]

Hi Lapadite,

It looks like when they were revertin ThisIs00k's edits, they removed yours on Nicki Minaj (including her genres) are you able to reinstate it please? 94.54.0.176 (talk) 07:34, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I reinstated the genre. Lapadite (talk) 07:54, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It also looks like their previous socks had removed hip hop and reggae from Rihanna's page too, and changed on her A Girl Like Me album genre from pop, dancehall and R&B to pop and reggae, despite reggae only being stated as reggae-lite, are you able to re add them back? 88.227.75.203 (talk) 08:13, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ThisIs00k is back

[edit]

Looks like they're back editing under as Blueberry72, removing sourced content and reverting edits made by users on Tulisa related articles can you please revert? Many thanks 212.154.1.248 (talk) 11:02, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In the recent history, I only see a revert of a block evasion. I am not familiar with that article to know if their edit included removal of content that shouldn't be removed. You can make the corrections in the article, or leave a message on the editor's talk page or the article talk page. If you suspect sock puppetry, open a case at WP:SPI.
