SPI
[edit]Hi SunnyScion, Bbb23 deleted the SPI before I was able to respond to your concerns. First, I assure you I have no socks and this account is my one and only, no alts, etc. In general, it is not uncommon for an editor to tag a new article with issues such as a notability then later another editor nom it for deletion or tag it with other issues. Granted, that is usually done by an WP:NPP reviewer rather than a relatively new account. As for Draft:Victor R. Lee, StrongDeterrence tagged all ChrisNate0119's recent articles with the UPE tag not just that draft (ex. Tommaso Chiabra) so in that instance it appears they were following ChrisNate0119's contributions, not mine. With that said, I agree with you StrongDeterrence is not a new editor and likely a sock of some account but it's not me. S0091 (talk) 17:40, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
- StrongDeterrence was blocked under WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Shewasafairy. S0091 (talk) 14:32, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- I saw, sorry for the confusion. He nominated 4 pages in a day for deletion and they were all exclusively pages you started the initial tag on. SunnyScion (talk) 14:34, 5 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]I have reverted your edit on WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Shewasafairy. User:Brandon is an admin and if you are going to accuse someone, especially an admin, please provide relevant diffs. Jeraxmoiraš (talk) 14:52, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Relevant diffs? The editing history is exactly the same and has been sporadic like the others. He isntntrying to hide it. Maybe the account was hacked or .. SunnyScion (talk) 15:00, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- If you are so sure, then file a separate entry using twinkle. No one is going to skim through the editing history for you. Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SPI/Guide to filing cases#Important_notes - You'll need to support your accusations with evidence in the form of diffs if you want your case to be reviewed. Jeraxmoiraš (talk) 15:09, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- You dont have to skim through anything, look at user contributions and there are pages on pages on just depreciating tech related pages. SunnyScion (talk) 15:20, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Never mind.. thx for your input. I appreciate you. SunnyScion (talk) 15:21, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- Jeraxmoira's revert was correct. However, their advice as to what to do is wrong. Do not file a new report against Brandon. Allegations of socking by admins are not handled at SPI. You're perilously close to being blocked for disruption. I don't know what your game is, but it's remarkably suspicious.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:11, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- nothing suspicious, the editing history and focus over the last 10 pages of his edits looks remarkably the same. Don't you agree? Or am I missing something obvious? SunnyScion (talk) 16:35, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- I'll make this simple for you. Any further bogus allegations of socking, and I will block you. Asking questions, as you do above ("don't you agree?"), is equally disruptive, so just stop. However, I am interested in knowing what other accounts you've had on Wikipedia.--Bbb23 (talk) 17:34, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- I was just reporting an issue and they did block the one account. I noticed another account doing the same thing and added it in the notes. I am not so sure why you are so intent on enforcing your will here. I am not going out of my way to make wild accusations, i was having barely a text conversation. I had no idea the account was even an admin, how would i know that if its not on his profile? There seems to be some ultimatum being enforced here so i am going to terminate our engagement on a friendly note. Thanks for your contribution in this discussion. I appreciate you. - I suggest installing Navigation Popups in your preferences under Gadgets which will allow to hover over a User name and see info about them, such as their perms like Administrator, when they joined, how many edits they have made, etc. However, I will say that even after you were told the person was an admin, you still persisted in accusing them of being a sock without any direct evidence. Simply telling people to look at their edit history is not enough, especially about a season editor who has been here since 2005 (admin or not). S0091 (talk) 20:33, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- I will try that. Part of this is out of context from the original deletion discussion. I never accused him of being a sock. There was a discussion about the other account being associated with StrongDeterrence and the similarities in editing, as well as damage. I mentioned that Brandon's account should be looked at under those pretenses. My thinking was going back to July 9th, the account has almost exclusively spent time removing content from tech and security pages. Jex suggested i report him instead of using the discussion, which i had no intention of doing, for some reason im accused of attacking admins when i had no idea he was one. I dont really want to continue this thread, explaning myself seems to be subversive behavior. Best of luck. SunnyScion (talk) 21:17, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- One clarification, you had already reported/accused Brandon as a sock by adding them to the SPI which is what started this whole thread, then you continued to do so here even after some explanation as to why that is problematic without clear and convincing evidence. Maybe you didn't understand that filing/adding someone to an SPI is reporting/accusing them but I hope you understand that now. S0091 (talk) 21:38, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- I not add him. I think i just replied to a comment discussing the focus and style on the conversation about StrongDeterrence and Comtell. It's over, leave the dead burried. SunnyScion (talk) 03:20, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

I am not using sock puppet accounts nor is my account compromised. If there are any concerns about who is in control of this account, my real life identity is known to the WMF and Iām happy to verify my identity. Brandon (talk) 12:11, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
