[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Anuradhapura massacre, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mannar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Assistance needed
[edit]There has been a pattern of disruptive editing on Sri Lankan Civil War related topics (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, Sri Lanka Armed Forces, Pottuvil massacre, 1977 anti-Tamil pogrom) by some editors. There seems to be what I feel WP:POV Pushing taking place. Appreciate your kind attention and involvement to settle these disputes and suspend edit waring. Cossde (talk) 14:51, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Cossde: do you want me to go to those talk pages individually, or is there a central page where this issue is being taken up? SinhalaLion (talk) 22:05, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- @SinhalaLion, thank you. Yes, you may have to go to the talk pages. Cossde (talk) 04:44, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Cossde I had a look and things are an absolute mess to say the least. Could you summarize the issues for each of the four pages you mentioned so I can get up to speed? Give both sides' perspectives please. SinhalaLion (talk) 02:52, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- @SinhalaLion, there seem to be WP:BIAS editing by WP:NAT editors who seem to be disrupting any editing that they will offsets the narrative, claiming content to be excessive even when content with citations are added. In the case of 1977 anti-Tamil pogrom, there is an active DRN on content. Regarding the other pages, appreciate if you can join the talk pages and perhaps with the content to see if WP:NPOV can be achieved. Furthermore, appreciate if you can share your thoughts on Talk:Sri_Lankan_Tamils#RfC_about_inclusion_of_additional_name_for_an_ethnic_group. Cossde (talk) 14:46, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Cossde Ok, I'll have a look. Also, I anticipate another dispute arising in 1985 anti-Tamil pogrom in Karaitivu because I have added and will be adding content and references that point to the misbehavior of the Tamil militant groups towards Muslims in the leadup to the pogrom, something that prior discussion on this topic leads me to believe will not be accepted with open arms to say the least... SinhalaLion (talk) 18:42, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Cossde the pages you mentioned seemed to have been referred to WP:ANI and other third-party mediation avenues, so I'm not sure that I should get involved. SinhalaLion (talk) 03:59, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
