I started editing in 2006, when I was 11 years old, as I believed strongly in the goal of making an encyclopedia that would be free for everyone.
A substantial amount of editors here believe that bureaucracy must always win out over editors, no matter how inhumane the requirements are, and that any number of editors driven away from the project is worthwhile to achieve any goal.
These people have taken away my love for the project and my faith in the community. In my heart, there is now only bitterness and sorrow.
After 19 years, my Wikipedia journey has ended.
