Yup, searching twitter for "lab leak Wikipedia" will give you the end of a long thread to pull. There have been several banned socks already (which, quite likely, are back or some other guise). Alexbrn (talk) 05:52, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

Romaine Tenney

I just created a draft for Romaine Tenney. The New York Times published a story about him today. I’ve been meaning to make an article for him for a long time. I am currently on a trip and have very little time to touch Wikipedia until perhaps Monday. If he is of interest, please feel free to build it up. Its a compelling story, particularly for those interested in American agricultural history. Hope you are doing well, Thriley (talk) 17:08, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Updates to the Cracker Barrel article

Hello! I'm Jessica, an employee at Cracker Barrel. I've been making some suggestions over at Talk:Cracker Barrel, where I disclosed my conflict of interest. I'm looking for editors who can help me bring the article up to date. So far, I've primarily used the edit request queue and it's been okay. My most recent request is for clarifications to the content about Biglari Holdings. I got a partial answer, and haven't had any responses since. Because you worked on bringing it up to Featured Article status, I thought you might be interested in taking a look and potentially helping implement appropriate updates. Thanks! USMP redirects

Hi Silver, what are Radiodialnet and RDN.pe and why do they redirect to University of San Martín de Porres? - Jay (Talk) 11:05, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

@Jay:, per their website, Radiodialnet is the name of the radio station run by the communications department of the University of San Martín de Porres. I had used one of their articles/broadcasts as a source on Absolute pitch and made the redirects in the process. But then the reference I made was removed for other reasons. You're just going to get banned again and again. Constantly making sockpuppet accounts is not helping anything. I'm planning on making an article on Suleiman because I consider him notable and not because you bug me about it. And I will get to making said article when I get to it. And that getting to it may be a couple days or even weeks, considering i'm in the middle of completing my thesis right now. It will be made eventually, please stop making accounts and stop harassing everyone. SilverserenC 19:32, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Joan McIntyre

Hi Silver! I started a draft for the anti-whaling activist and author Joan McIntyre. According to a tweet from Stewart Brand, she is dead:[1]. I could not find any obituary for her anywhere. It seems strange for her not to have one. I can only think she perhaps did not want one. There are many news stories on her/ her work, some of which I cannot access. Not sure if you have the time, but it would definitely be a good source digging expedition! Hope the thesis work is going well. I flew over Lincoln (I assume that’s where you are) last month. Thank you, Silver, for salvaging the article on Bronwyn Law-Viljoen from AfC, improving it, and moving it to mainspace. Appreciate what you do around here. Rosiestep (talk) 19:34, 3 August 2021 (UTC)
Thanks to you too. Things can get annoying sometimes, but i'm very happy to be able to help out new editors that are also trying to improve our coverage of women on the wiki. SilverserenC 21:25, 3 August 2021 (UTC)

shenlou zhi

i had considered adding a crit reception section, but couldn't seem to find substantial English reviews of the original work rather than the translation. undoubtedly there'll be plenty in Chinese but am a bit lazy to tackle those at the moment. thanks anyway! :) Kingoflettuce (talk) 19:07, 5 August 2021 (UTC)

@Kingoflettuce: So long as the translation is being covered in the Shenlou zhi article and not in its own article (and as just a translation, I don't think it should have a separate article), then reviews for Mirage still count as coverage for the original work. It would still be great if you could find reviews for the original, but reviews for the translation should still be included. SilverserenC 19:09, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
yep, for sure, defo agree they should be included--just thought it a bit odd if there were only reviews for the translation and not the original. I might add reviews for the original soon. The "Plot" section also doesn't do the actual plot justice, but it's a doozy... Kingoflettuce (talk) 19:12, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
The review article I just added has a much more detailed look at the plot and structure of the novel, @Kingoflettuce:, so that might be helpful if you want to do an expansion of the "Plot" section. SilverserenC 19:57, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
Yup, thanks, that's helpful, though my principle when it comes to expanding plot sections is to actually read the original work. I do have access to the full pdf of Mirage (bootlegging ftw...) and am about 20% into the story. Not the most compelling of reads, unfortunately, unlike some of the other Ming/Qing dynasty erotic novels I have written about Kingoflettuce (talk) 20:06, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
@Kingoflettuce: Looks like maybe this review mentions an older review by Dai Bufan that isn't covered in the original work reviews section you have. SilverserenC 20:16, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
