Hi
What is the need for a separate article when the same content exists in Cherokee?
Mkeranat (talk) 07:15, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- See this note. You also need to provide evidence that "Aniyawiya" is the true name of the Cherokee because Google ain't exactly overflowing with hits. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 10:15, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Larry Antonino, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of Larry Antonino and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Alexf42 00:50, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Cherokee language, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. WP:CONSENSUS does not agree with your repeated recent "grammar correction" on articles. Please do not continue to introduce edits that are against consensus; if you really feel your edits are correct, the appropriate place to discuss them is the talk page of the article(s) in question. If you continue to make these changes, you will likely be blocked. Please also be aware of the three-revert rule. Frank | talk 12:49, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of managers of defunct Major League Baseball teams may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
- | [[St. Louis Brown Stockings]] || [[National League|NL]] || {{sortname|George|McManus)}} || {{mlby|1876}}–{{mlby|1877}} || 68 || 34 || 34 || .500 || {{sort|000|—}} || {{sort|000|—}} ||
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 05:04, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:1877 St. Louis Brown Stockings
[edit]Hello Shawnbgreene. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "1877 St. Louis Brown Stockings".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}

code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:1877 St. Louis Brown Stockings}}
, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
