Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Alliedanalytics, does not meet our username policy.
Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, appear to represent a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account. However, you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Alliedanalytics. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Managed security service, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Chris Troutman (talk) 15:22, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Predictive maintenance article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the Help Desk. You can also leave a message on my talk page. --Yamla (talk) 17:23, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi SharadatAlliedanalytics, there is no set time for review and the system is very backlogged. Some get reviewed quickly as easy accepts or declines, most others wait until the end of the queue or someone picks at random. The backlog is over 5300+ and upto 4 months Category:AfC pending submissions by age. However it looks like an easy review that has been missed so I can do it now.... Request reason:

I was trying to build my company (Allied Market Research) Wikipedia page (I was not promoting or advertising anything here). I'm a contributor to Wikipedia for the last 3 years. Learning lot of things in Wikipedia so I'm requesting to unblock my account SharadSingh 15:01, 22 September 2022 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You need to convince an administrator that you fully understand why you were blocked, explain your understanding of the policies and guidelines you violated, and explain what you plan to do if unblocked. Creating a page for publicity purposes, exposure to "increase awareness", search engine optimization, or other similar reasons, falls under the definition of promotion. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:41, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If you examine the word promote the definition entails you are violating WP:COI and WP:NOTADVERTISING. You should have taken my warning two years ago more seriously. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:17, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is a free Encyclopedia built by volunteers. All new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS).

"Are there any charges that we need to pay to get register our company page?" - No, although apparently there are many scammers who says they can promote a subject for money. If the sources exists to show notability there is no cost to write a neutral encyclopedic article; if sources do not exist there is no amount of money that can get a valid article.
