[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as anaphylaxis are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. JFW | T@lk 21:20, 23 June 2019 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ronald Grossarth-Maticek, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Self-knowledge (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

- Could I add that calling the work of other editors "manipulative" when the material is closely based on reliably-cited stories is a personal attack, something forbidden here on Wikipedia. Please read the policy: No Personal Attacks. I would be grateful if you would withdraw the comment and strike it out <s>like this, struck-out text</>), and not to repeat it or say anything else like it. Thank you. - The diagram should show the source of the statement made. The name of the author of the statement should be written on it. It is not enough if this is stated in the explanation, because the images can also be used by other wikis. Sciencia58 (talk) 22:06, 20 November 2019 (UTC)
- Well we could do that (belt, braces, and suspenders, we'd call that, to make quite sure the trousers don't slip), but it's way beyond policy. If it'll make you happy I'll add a mention. ... oh, I see, you mean actually in the image. Even more unusual. Again, that's way way way beyond policy requirements. I'll consider whether it can be done without making things worse - since few editors have the skills to edit diagrams, it's far less accessible to minor adjustment, and might be inappropriate. DYK for Ronald Grossarth-Maticek
[edit]On 30 December 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ronald Grossarth-Maticek, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that medical scholar Ronald Grossarth-Maticek directed a long-term study involving 30,000 people from 18,000 households, spanning more than 20 years? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ronald Grossarth-Maticek. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Ronald Grossarth-Maticek), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Mongolian wolf
[edit]Hello, I have reverted your edit to Mongolian wolf for two reasons. (1) It was not a reference; the link should go under the "External links" section. (2) The pix you linked to is that of a Himalayan wolf in a zoo at Darjeeling, India, therefore I did not relocate it. If you should visit the Himalayan wolf page, you will find that the taxonomy of the Himalayan and Mongolian wolves is currently under debate. At this stage, we do not know which of these two wolves formed the holotype for C.l. chanco until the holotype (in the British Museum) is DNA analysed. That should be coming soon. [edit]Sciencia58, thanks for creating this diagram and adding it to some Wikipedia articles. Unfortunately, I found two translation errors in the English text of the diagram. The phrase "lose sediments" is not correct. The correct wording should be "loose sediments". Also, I think that you have translated from the German word "Hebung" to "heaving" in English (as in the German version of this diagram, Kreislauf_der_Gesteine_1.png). This English word "heaving" is too informal for a geological diagram. In this situation, it is much better translated to "uplift" in English. Also, I recommend that you should change "Magma" to "magma", for consistency, because all the other text is lowercase. Can you make these changes in the diagram. please? (I have duplicated this message on your Wikimedia Commons talk page, because I want you to receive it as soon as possible). GeoWriter (talk) 22:29, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
