Recent edits to Payman/Australia's Voice
[edit]Hi, apologies but I've had to remove much of what you've added to Fatima Payman and Australia's Voice. There were quite a few problems with the edits; for instance using unclear time statments like "In the last 24 hours" and "last tuesday", which won't make any sense when the article is read in 2 years time. Also referring to Payman as "Ms Payman" or "Ms Fatima" is not in the Wikipedia style. Also try to avoid statements that convey a particular opinion; your descriptions of Payman and the party seemed to me to convey a positive/praising tone of Payman and the party's values, which isn't appropriate. December 2024
[edit]Hello. Your recent edit to List of people diagnosed with colorectal cancer appears to have added a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:39, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Speedy deletion nomination of Yumna Majeed
[edit]Hello Sa1e24,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Yumna Majeed for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want Yumna Majeed to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
