2010 GOCE coordinator elections
I think you can probably send out the notice about voting for coordinators now. Also, later today, I'll be developing the final newsletter in the same place I always do. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 13:08, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
- OK, That's a good idea. And if SMasters could get the election up and running and I will work on closing off the drive in just over an hour from now. --Diannaa (Talk) 22:49, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
- OK, will send it out now. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 00:18, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Plaintext list of GOCE-ers
I see you're sending out notices—do you have a plaintext list of users? If so, could you get it to me somehow? ǝɥʇM0N0farewell 01:11, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, yes I do. What will you use the list for? Will you be using AWB? If you are, I can tell you how to generate the list. If not, I'm not sure how I can get it to you. Any suggestions? – SMasters (talk) 02:39, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- I was going to use it for Contribution Team work, targeting users based on interests. I have AWB, so I could generate it that way - how did you do so? ǝɥʇM0N0farewell 03:23, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, great. The first thing is to select the source as "Links on page" and grab the GOCE mailing list. After you have done that, "convert to talk pages" via "List". Then, you need to grab our membership lists from here and here, adding them to your list. If you want participants from our drives, you can also grab them from each drive page (go to the months you want to grab from). After that, "Filter" the list to only include "User talk:" and check remove duplicates. Also, please remove HJ Mitchell, OlEnglish, Ling.Nut and OhanaUnited from the list as they do not wish to receive any Guild communication. Will this work for you? – SMasters (talk) 04:01, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- Yep! Thanks, ǝɥʇM0N0farewell 23:19, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Final newsletter
The final newsletter for the Guild of Copy Editors November 2010 backlog elimination drive is in development here. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 01:12, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I'll have a look at it in an hour after I've sent all the voting notices out. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 01:27, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

All GOCE members in good standing, as well as past participants of any of the Guild's Backlog elimination drives, are eligible to vote. There are six candidates vying for four positions. - Hello, regarding the above message that I received, I'm haven't been on this list for several weeks. Is there something else I need to do to stop receiving messages from the GOCE? Thanks, --BelovedFreak 09:41, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry about that. Maybe your name came from one of the backlog elimination drives. In any case, I will put you down on the opt-out list. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 10:54, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- No problem, and thanks. :) --BelovedFreak 11:26, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Sugested change to Limbo_(video_game)
Helle SMasters,
I'm not an accompished wikipedia editor and I'm an employee og Playdead, developer of LIMBO, so it's not appropriate for me to do edits, I presume.
I would, however, like to propose a change to the article such that the game tagline, which is currently cited as "Unsure of his sister's fate, a boy enters the unknown." with ref to ^ a b c Westbrook, Logan (2001-03-26). "PAX East 2010 Hands On: Limbo". The Escapist. Retrieved 2010-07-23 – is changed to the correct phrase, which is "Uncertain of his sister's fate, a boy enters LIMBO." Which can be seen on the download page on Xbox Live Arcade and e.g. on http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/limbo
Best wishes, Mads -- Mads Wibroe, Producer Playdead mads@playdeadgames.com
Madswibroe (talk) 10:08, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Mads, Although it is not recommended or ideal, you can make minor, non-controversial edits if you provide a disclosure statement, as long as they are properly sourced. Have a look at declaring an interest. However, I have helped you correct the tagline as per your request. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 11:15, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Good luck
Good luck with that. Perhaps you could help copyedit and promote Clint Eastwood article to GA? I'll be working on it later in the week before nomming for GA. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:44, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll have a look at it during the week. – SMasters (talk) 15:46, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! I'll dig out the biographies again tomorrow and even up the sources a bit and probably condense it a little, then it will need copyediting before or during the submission...♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:07, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- OK, leave me a note when you are ready. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 01:36, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
I'll definately resume working on it Monday or Tuesday. The years in jazz and saving various AFDs has been occupying much of my time in the last few days!♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:31, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I'll try to look at it from mid next week. - SMasters (talk) 17:30, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
Copy-edit
Thank you for copy-editing The Last Dog on Earth! It looks nice, and I always feel better having someone root through my articles to ensure there aren't any errors. WhiteArcticWolf (talk) 01:45, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- No problems. I really enjoyed working on it. Let me know if you need anymore help. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 01:54, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks again. And I'll be sure to do that. WhiteArcticWolf (talk) 02:01, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

- Errm, you do realise that it was a slight glitch from AWB? Anyway, the ref tag was not correct and I have fixed it for you. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 05:02, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
