Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2018–19 Liga TDP season, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Tala, Abasolo and Boca del Río (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

An article you recently created, 2003 Tercera División play-offs, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. New articles

[edit]

Hi rodpractice, your work is awesome and I am amused of your contributions, I used to have an account in Wikipedia, I also used to create articles about sports mainly soccer, nowadays my account is blocked and I can't create or update the articles that I used to. So I take the freedom of asking you if you could help the community in creating the articles of the current managers (former professional footballers) of the Liga Premier de México such as Arturo Chávez, Sergio Díaz, Gerardo Durón, Lorenzo Sáez, José Gerardo Espinoza, José Roberto Muñoz, Jesús López Meneses and Leonardo Pipino. And from Liga MX Femenil, whose are Filadelfo Rangel, Fabiola Vargas, Félix Martínez, Martín Pérez Padrón and Carla Rossi.

I would really appreciate a lot your help. 189.139.74.183 (talk) 21:35, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Rodpractice. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2003 Tercera División play-offs".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 16:41, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Creation of new articles

[edit]

Hi Rodpractice, I noticed that you are an active contributor of football articles, therefore may I ask your help in order to create the articles of the coaches/managers of the Liga MX Femenil and the Serie A de México, I consider the creation of these pages very relevant, taking in consideration that most of them are former footballers.

Such as Rigoberto Esparza, Martín Pérez Padrón, Miguel Ángel Casanova, Daniel Moguel Hernández and Juan Manuel Rivera

It would be awesome if you can create them. My best regards.

Question about Mexican clubs

[edit]

Hey Rodpractice. You do some amazing work for Mexican football on Wikipedia. Your articles are always clean, informative and well-sourced. It makes me happy to see the nation's football history is being documented in such a diligent way.

My question for you is why you shorten the names of clubs in infoboxes. I think the full name should used when they are in the ___ de ___ format. For example, you turn Cafetaleros de Chiapas into just "Chiapas", such as here in this edit. I think it's misleading, since "Chiapas" also refers to Chiapas F.C. I thought it would be good to get your opinion on this. Saludos, hermano. JTtheOG (talk) 06:24, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you very much for the comments on my work on Mexican soccer.
In the case of simplifying Cafetaleros de Chiapas as Chiapas, I did it based on what is shown in articles such as 2019–20 Ascenso MX season where Cafetaleros de Chiapas participated and is shown as Chiapas in the Wikipedia page.
Observing the situation, you are indeed right, I forgot that in the cases that I mentioned as an example are unique teams, and in the case of Cafetaleros de Chiapas, there already existed a Chiapas F.C., so the correct thing to do would be to name it Cafetaleros de Chiapas or simply Cafetaleros.
Saludos y un abrazo. Rodpractice (talk) 15:13, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Obson Dynamo F.C.

[edit]

Hey Rod! I recently created my first article on a Mexican football club, Obson Dynamo F.C. Since you have so much experience in the field, I was hoping you could help improve it whenever you have some time. Even something minor like the uniforms would be greatly appreciated since I have no idea how to do that. I also created Liga MXA Independiente, in case there's anything you know about the league that I don't. There doesn't seem to be a ton of information online; I can't even find a clear league tier system or list of teams. Anyways, hope you're doing well!
