Might have undone a John Mark Ramseyer edit of yours by accident

[edit]

Hello, Reagle. I just edited John Mark Ramseyer. I was adding several sentences, so I did it in my sandbox and cut and pasted it over. Only then did I see in the history that you'd made some changes in the intervening minutes. Hope I didn't mess anything up; I probably didn't. It looks like you edited the Japanese medal sentence for concision too; we probably had the same idea. editeur24 (talk) 15:29, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have just reverted your edit, because you somehow managed (inadvertently, I am sure) to turn an ISBN into a phone number, with the result that, when I clicked on the link, my PC tried to use Skype to call the number! It isn't obvious what you were trying to do, so you may want to revisit this article and try again. RolandR (talk) 13:14, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

RolandR, thanks, not sure how that happened (using iPad and Visual Editor mode). I've just redone my punctuation fixes on that paragraph on a computer. -Reagle (talk) 14:33, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Asking for Review

[edit]

Here is a link to my sandbox article on Daylio. Would you be able to take a look and provide some feedback? A few notes:

  • Intro could be stronger?
  • I feel like there's not a lot of content in the page, though I'm not sure what else to add. Pages on similar apps appear to be pretty short as well. There's another study that I think I could include under the "health benefits section" which I have cited at the bottom but don't think I actually used it yet.
  • On a somewhat related note, I'm not sure if the section on "notable features" is significant enough to include?
  • I would like to add some images, and possibly an info box (such as the ones in these similar pages Day One (app) Instant (app)).
  • I also haven't done too much proper citation. More just threw links onto the page, so gotta clean that up.
  • Still a bit caught up on the name of the company that makes the app. It seems to be different for IOS and Android. I went with the company and release date that I found in the Google play store, which also is the one who filed a patent for "Daylio"

A few things I am looking to change in my sandbox article: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Pippalenderking/sandbox

  • Catchier title?
  • Where/how to add pictures? I’m going to look at the linked Images and Media Tutorial on help with that.
  • How to create a table for game stats, game box score, and game characteristics
  • I need to finish writing the third and fourth quarters, broadcaster calls, and reactions/aftermath
  • Will I go overboard on the charts/tables?
  • I want to connect with the librarians again and utilize the Wiki community for advice as well!

A tag has been placed on Daylio (app), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. the first edit

[edit]

Enjoyed this [1]. I deleted my stream of consciousness thoughts elsewhere[2], but am now an adherent to the view that "This is the new WikiPedia!" was indeed the actual first edit.--Milowenthasspoken 20:43, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
