Welcome!
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

- Naming conventions
- Simplified Manual of Style
Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Ram Jethmalani. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 22:58, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Utcursch. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Dipak Misra have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Have a look at WP:REFSPAM. utcursch | talk 17:17, 30 August 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add your own blog as a source to Wikipedia articles -- it is not a reliable source by Wikipedia standards, and your edits may be considered as refspam by some users. utcursch | talk 20:58, 11 December 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Dandruff, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. [edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Aadhaar. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. — DaxServer (t·m·e·c) 20:52, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, i am not sure what is a promotional material in it. It is a government scheme, i cant promote it. I just added a paragraph stating a use of Aadhar card in PM Kisan scheme. I added a relevant Citation. I think that is as per the Wikipedia guidelines. Rajat9428 (talk) 08:57, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- @DaxServer Please tell me mate. You can not ignore after removing the content. Please let me know why was it removed and how is it violating Wikipedia guidelines?
- I am trying to add value to the page and you are removing it. Rajat9428 (talk) 18:23, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello. The website you added does not hold up to our standards of reliable sources that can be used to reference. In contrast, websites like these are often added to promote or for backlinking SEO purposes. If you genuinely added that as a citation, please know that it is not a reliable source. Here are some readings for you I'd recommend.
