"started life very early"

[edit]

... does that mean he was premature? If so, please clarify on the article page. Thanks! Janet13 10:10, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, it has nothing to do with premature birth. He was promoted twice at school at one point of time. That may explain the early start to his career. TheIndianUser (talk) 20:09, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Jessica Lall Murder Case"

[edit]

Is the direct quotation from The Jessica Lall Murder Case really necessary? It seems more like a transcript from a movie script. Dj (talk) 00:35, 23 December 2008 (UTC) Djthegreat[reply]

Removed: "Ram Jethmalani, clearly this is the other side of Ram. Period" - Reflects opinions and not factual content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.144.59.155 (talk) 20:09, 3 April 2008 (

"He has given a bad name to the Indian legal system where top lawyers are seen as saviours of criminals due to their greed of money. He gives arguments about his professional ethics and duties only for known rich criminals and never for the poor downtrodden exploited majority of the Indian population for whom justice has become a cruel and expensive joke." - Opinion instead of fact. I think this should be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shyguy24x7 (talkcontribs) 22:46, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A need to improve the language and grammar used in the article

[edit]

Hi, many passages and sentences in this article need urgent edits - either due to their poor grammar or odd use of language. I will start the process, but would appreciate any help from all users in this regard. Notthebestusername (talk) 08:23, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@DBigXray: What is this about DBig? --Tamravidhir (talk) 10:44, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:Tamravidhir An interesting convo in SC that showed his wits. I posted it here for talk page watchers to see it and to discuss if it can be added into the article somehow.--DBigXray 10:49, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DBigXray: I will look into it shortly. --Tamravidhir (talk) 11:02, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I wanted to open a discussion on the merit of including archive links that do not have any text. I believe the purpose of using the Archive.org is to preserve important information. The links below do not contain any text -

  1. https://web.archive.org/web/20110715152818/http://www.ramjethmalani.com/news.php?first=0
  2. https://web.archive.org/web/20110715152718/http://www.ramjethmalani.com/about_us.php

Also, if the above needs to be added, can just the Archive.org be used and not https://www.hugedomains. com/domain_profile.cfm?d=ramjethmalani&e=com ? Seems kind of improper to see a "domain is up for sale" implication on Jethmalani's page. Csgir (talk) 08:12, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Csgir: I see you have added newer references. While the archived links may be deleted given newer sources you would require a consensus for the same. Also, we cannot have an archived link without the original link. WP:KDL is of relevance here. Pinging User:DBigXray. --Tamravidhir (talk) 10:43, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Csgir thanks for pointing out. These 2 links serve absolutely no purpose, please feel free to remove them and add better links. They seem to be added when IA BOT failed to do its intended job or the page was already dead when IA BOT arrived. User:Tamravidhir these links are blank, I dont think anyone needs consensus to remove and replace them with better links. Moreover that link is a primary source.--DBigXray 10:53, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Concur with User:DBigXray. --Tamravidhir (talk) 11:02, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
