Orphaned non-free media (File:TheBoondocksTVseries.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:TheBoondocksTVseries.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. File copyright problem with File:Instant Mom intertitle.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Instant Mom intertitle.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Blurred Lines 16:39, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Better source request for some of your uploads
Thanks for your uploads to Wikipedia. There is an issue with some of them, specifically:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the images because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the images, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image files themselves. Please update the image descriptions with URLs that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 03:09, 29 October 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Berzerk (song)
On 10 November 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Berzerk (song), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that "Berzerk", produced by Rick Rubin, and "Survival", which appears in Call of Duty: Ghosts, are both songs from Eminem's eighth studio album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:The Santa Clause
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Template:The Santa Clause, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Copying within Wikipedia
Hello, User:QuasyBoy. While investigating unrelated copyright concerns flagged in Wendell & Vinnie, I discovered that you had copied the content to that page from List of Wendell & Vinnie episodes. It's perfectly okay to copy content from one article to another on Wikipedia, of course, but when you do so you must at least put a link in the edit summary to the source article to provide the legally required attribution. "Moving episode table here" doesn't cover it, I'm afraid, since it does not provide access to the history of contribution. Content on Wikipedia is not public domain, and our contributors agree that this link is sufficient acknowledgement. Without at least that level of attribution, I'm afraid that such copying violates their copyright. Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia explains more the how and why.
I'll make sure that the necessary attribution is provided in this instance if content remains after the copyright investigation, but I wanted to let you know for future use and in case you have copied content previously without the required attribution so that you can fix it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:37, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

You are invited to join us the "picnic anyone can edit" in Central Park, as part of the Great American Wiknic celebrations being held across the USA. Remember it's a wiki-picnic, which means potluck.
Also, before the picnic, you can join in the Wikimedia NYC chapter's annual meeting.
We hope to see you there!--Pharos (talk) 16:51, 28 June 2014 (UTC) |
