Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited History of African Americans in Boston, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Systemic. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Belbury. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to ITV plc have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Changing "the oldest" to "one of the oldest" does not add any "clarity" to this article, when that television network is verifiably the oldest; it removes clarity. Copyedits

[edit]

Please show more care in your copyedits. Many of them either simply accomplish nothing (obligatory → mandatory), introduce unnatural phrasing (martial prowess → military skills), or even change the actual meaning of the prose, which shouldn't be happening unless it better reflects what the cited sources say. Please don't add words like "iconic"

[edit]

That's your interpretation, sese WP:NOR andWikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch which specifically mentions iconic. Doug Weller talk 11:12, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"largest" and "most significant" are not the same.

[edit]

[1] you are making a mess of articles. Doug Weller talk 11:22, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
