License tagging for File:Gitanas Nauseda.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Gitanas Nauseda.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 04:30, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, I didn't see a problem with the previous image, which seemed to be a clearer image. But I'm not strongly opposed to the new one. --Comment by Selfie City (talk about my contributions) 22:48, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:LateWithLilly.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:LateWithLilly.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2020 Green National Convention, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Help with Jorgensen oval portrait at 2020 LNC

[edit]

Hi Nojus R,
The Jorgensen campaign just started releasing their photos under a Creative Commons license, so we have access to their photos now. You seem to be good at making the oval portraits. Could you make a new one using the below studio portrait? Assuming you think it's better than the one already there, of course. — Tartan357  (Talk) 21:52, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done Nojus R (talk) 22:05, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, it looks nice. Can you try zooming out the photo used for Cohen's oval portrait to match Jorgensen's head size? It looks like there's a little more room in the source photo, but I could be wrong about that. — Tartan357  (Talk) 22:09, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sure but you nominated it for deletion so I made an alternative version Nojus R (talk) 22:30, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, great, thanks. And yeah, unfortunately it's been a month since that set of files were uploaded and OTRS still hasn't received anything, so they were probably uploaded without permission. — Tartan357  (Talk) 22:45, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of new discussion concerning Marquita Bradshaw

[edit]

You recently expressed an opinion at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Marquita_Bradshaw. (That AfD closed Sept 4 with consensus expressed as "The result was keep. A discussion on whether or not to merge or redirect can happen after this AfD.") A new proposal, to redirect searches for "Marquita Bradshaw" to 2020 United States Senate election in Tennessee is being discussed at Talk:2020 United States Senate election in Tennessee#Proposed merge of Marquita Bradshaw into 2020 United States Senate election in Tennessee. Please join a discussion here regarding whether the terms "First Lady of the United States Designate" and "Second Gentleman of the United States Designate" should be in the infoboxes of Jill Biden and Doug Emhoff, spouses of the president-elect and vice president-elect, respectively. Alex Padilla's start of term

[edit]

So I'm basing my edits partially on this comment on my talkpage from @GoldRingChip: from when Fred Keller was elected, as well as their edits to a few of senate pages earlier this week. That comment makes it seem like legally Padilla is already in office, and that the swearing in is a formality, but maybe I've misunderstood something. Emk9 (talk) 04:10, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If we can find a reliable source saying Alex Padilla is legally in the Senate, then I'd say we can add it, but as of now the pages United States Senate, Alex Padilla, Kamala Harris, California, List of current United States senators, etc. all seem to agree that the seat is vacant, so I'd say we should keep "TBD" unless we get consensus against it. Nojus R (talk) 04:39, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter if "legally" he is in office because of WP:OR. Look for a reliable secondary source. —GoldRingChip 13:41, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Multiverse of Madness Theatrical Release Poster.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
