- Swami Santadasji Kathiababa was the first Bengali saint and eminent figure of Hinduism in the Indian subcontinent. Santdasji has many devotees all over the world. To preserve the great biography of Santadasji forever and to let future generations know about him, I have edited English Wikipedia. Swami Santadasji Kathiyababa Swami Santadasji Kathiyababa was famous like Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Abhaycharanabrinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. But I am personally very hurt that this edit of Santdasji is repeatedly removed. - I appreciate that you want to make sure that this person is well-known, but Wikipedia does not include articles simply because they are important to someone. Wikipedia includes articles based on the quality of coverage and its sources. Sources must be
- reliable (things like academic journal articles or quality news sources)
- independent (not directly written or excessively influenced by the topic)
- Additionally, Wikipedia does not keep any edits forever. All edits are subject to community consensus and future editing based on reliable sources.
- Please see the following policy pages for more specific guidance: WP:RELIABILITY, WP:OWNERSHIP, WP:BLUDGEON, WP:FANATIC
- None of this is meant to offend or hurt, but I hope that you can see that those of us considering the deletion of Swami Santa Dasji Kathiababa intend only to maintain the reliability of information on the English Wikipedia. Nmarshall25 (talk) 04:05, 2 March 2023 (UTC)

Instaed of moving to unrated
[edit]Re: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Talk:J%C3%B3zef_Kupny&diff=prev&oldid=1213699056 - instead, please move such articles to start class. If it is better than a stub, start is the next bracket. Moving it to unlisted is not good as it blanks the data and wastes previous assessment. Better to have old assessment than nothing. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 00:33, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the recommendation. Another article that I did this with got moved from "Stub" to "B" by a reviewer, so I figured it was an okay practice. If I think an article has moved more than just Stub → Start, should I do my own assessment, or should I only nudge articles up the hierarchy one step at a time? Nmarshall25 (talk) 15:37, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- It's totally fine to do one's own assessment for stub/start/C. For B-classes, some wikiprojects have a system for reviews, but few (I think only WP:MILHIST is really active in this, perhaps medical, biographical one has a section but it's backlogged quite a lot). GA+ of course requires specific reviews (WP:GAN etc.). A is often omitted as it relies on a few active WikiProjects (milhist again comes to mind). Geneally it's more important to assess unassessed articles rather than update old assessments, not to say the latter is not important. Btw, I recommend using gadgets you can find in preferences related to rating that display ratings on the article side, and allow you to mass edit / add them on the page (see WP:RATER, etc.). Install User:Enterprisey/script-installer first :) Cheers, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 23:41, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
Hi, dear Nmarshall25 and thank you for the help in this page!!!
Do you think is possible to open it in Simple English, or it doesn't need? Thanks again and see you soon. Rei Momo (talk) 08:26, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- I don't really have experience with the Simple English wiki, so I'm not sure.
- Thanks for starting the page! Nmarshall25 (talk) 15:16, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
