WrestleMania XIV

Hi Nikki. An IP has made the following edit to the WMXIV article: "According to one of Mick Foley's books. at one point there was a plan to have an exploding barbed wire death match, but plans changed when Mike Tyson agreed to be the special enforcer for the main event." I'm not quite sure if this is pure vandalism, or whether this is actually true. As you have the first two of Foley's books (I have the third and it's not in there), could you verify to me whether Foley actually said this in his book, or whether it's just pure garbage. If it is true (which I highly doubt), could you verify it to the related page in the book. If it's not true, just remove the vandalism. Thanks, D.M.N. (talk) 15:58, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Missing word in Chyna article

I was looking over this article, but there was one change that I thought was better left to someone with access to her autobiography. A word is missing from the first sentence in the "Television and movies" section. The Kliq

Hi Nikki. As a result of references being added to the Kiliq article, I was wondering whether we could continue working on it after the COTW has finished. Unlike other articles, which suffer from week-by-week edits, or will take a while to get to a high level, for instance PPV's, I believe The Kliq article could become a GA, and could in the future become an FA. What are you thought on us two possibly continuing to work on it after the COTW's ended? IMO, there's enough sources out there (book and web) to make this into a good article. Thoughts? D.M.N. Thanks. I think the "Curtain Call" section is OK for now, but the "The nWo and D-Generation X" section needs a bit of cleanup. I'm going to continue to add references from my books for the time being. Just wondering, do you think the article needs to be expanded hugely from its current state to be a GA? Wow, nice job. I've added another one about Carl Ouelett (aka Pirate Guy); I recently cleaned up his article, with info from multiple sources and my HBK book, so I've copied and pasted the revelant section into the man article with a few rewords. Hmm. Well, OWOW isn't always reliable, but they tend to be right on most issues. Matt Sydal is on there list, so I'll see what I can pull out of it for the article. WrestleMania (1985)

I noticed that an editor changed the finishing move in the Santana-Executioner match. I looked into it, and it seems like Santana did use the figure four leglock to win. Online Onslaught's description of the match states that it ended with the figure four leglock. I know that's not a reliable source, but WrestleCrap's book of lists backs it up (see http://books.google.com/books?id=HFBTUhnc9DwC&pg=PA28&dq=santana+executioner+figure+four&sig=ACfU3U3sNRdNVlUR3ZeQI1pdJk-rnUF3Iw). Am I right in saying that the FL requirements don't require the lists to be explicity written OOU? If they do need to be OOU, that would make the championship tables look like absolute hell. I don't think a blocking is in order. LAX gave him a warning for the edit, but nobody ever warned the user about the possibility of being blocked. I don't block unless a user is fully aware of the consequences. Besides, he hasn't made any edits since the one on your page, so a blocking wouldn't have mattered anyway. I don't think some of the recent edits are vandalism: the exact words used in the source are "We talked about Joey's past relationship with Mickie James and what exactly happened to them." Hi - thanks for your review of Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball. Wrestler's Rescue

Hi Nikki, I noticed that you shortened the info I added on the Torrie Wilson page concerning Wrestler's Rescue. I saw that you mentioned it being not notable enough, but I was not sure exactly what you were considering not notable? Reason for my asking is simply because I was planning on spending some time creating a page specifically for Wrestler's Rescue itself. I felt that with all the media attention it garnered that it would be well worth adding to Wikipedia. Could you let me know if you feel that this effort would be worth while? • • I see what your saying although the event was covered by Sirius Radio on a few of thier channels, Newsday, and My Network 9 to name a few. Problem is I have not had the time to go through all the archived info I have on it to notate everything. Also, this media specifically noted Torrie Wilson, Mick Foley, Brimstone, and Bumblefoot as major players in the success of the event which is why they were specified rather than a ridiculous list of celebrities at the event. Could you pull out your mop? On Talk:Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, a user announced they had created a page for Zack Ryder. For some reason they created it at Hapalwld. Per here and the section immediately below it, they shouldn't have their own pages, especially not one at the wrong name. Hey sorry to bother you again but, have you been paying attention to the WWE roster page? it's full protected, to me it all comes from User: talk:Vjmlhds, I warned him about breaking the 3RR and two hours later he's back at it. Yeah, that guy is pretty annoying. You'll copyedit the article and bring it up to MOS, then he'll make 20 edits in which he slowly reverts you bit by bit and he refuses to use the talk page. Anyway, I was wondering if you would mind taking a look at Bart Simpson. I would like to have the article FA ready by next Friday (7th) but I figured I'd try a GAN in hopes of getting some helpful comments and I'm going to withdraw it if I don't get any comments by then. Re: NM '07

The thing is, NM is not near GA quality, it needs major rewording, just by seeing the lead, the entire article must have problems: "in a Giant wooden structure" - this is to wordy. Plus, the BG has to much detail, needs to be cut down. The other thing, this article is in OOU but in the old format, like SummerSlam (2003), it needs to be in the new updated one like in No Way Out (2004). These are just a few things I see, but I would let the original reviewer have another look at it.--S_RX 01:58, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

You know more about production section and other stuff of that nature than I do. I just finished Slammiversary (2008) and someone died after the event. I've never wrote any section like that before. Scream/Childhood

The thing is, English isn't actually my first language, I get tenses mixed and can't spot my errors as you can see.
