Duplicate Ontario generating station lists
[edit]Hi there! I was doing some work on articles relating to OPG and saw that there are two duplicate article listing generating stations in Ontario. Are you still willing to delete List of power generating stations in Ontario to deal with the duplication? It seems there wasn't a lot of discussion for a merger but if you G7 your page you can still add some of the content from it to the other page. RA0808 talkcontribs 01:11, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
- @RA0808: Hey. Willing to G7 my page, but the only thing that needs integrating is the defunct power stations on my page. Wesleyville Generating Station information in particular, I believe it got placed there because some other stub got deleted, and may have been the impetus for my list in the first place. Can you integrate it somehow? --Natural RX 15:39, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 11
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited GO Transit bus services, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hamilton. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

York Region rail-interchange icons
[edit]I have a few concerns with the Viva rint icons you recently added. Firstly, the generic Viva icon () and the Viva Blue icon () are exactly the same making it visually ambiguous without clicking.
Additionally, the icons are still too wide to fit nicely in a Routemap such as Viva Pink, which requires 2 of them side by side (). Perhaps a single stylized, coloured V (something like V or V ) would be more useful? BLAixx 04:44, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- I know it's visually ambiguous between the general viva and viva blue. I also agree just a stylized 'v' would work better. So how about a) a general link to viva rapid transit is left as the full 'viva' logo, and reference to viva blue is just the stylized 'v'? --Natural RX 13:51, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- That is great, exactly what I had in mind! -BLAixx 19:06, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

G&W logos
[edit]Hi Natural RX. I just wanted to let you know you may be seeing more of the bot messages about non-free use rationales for G&W logos (one for the Connecticut Southern Railroad logo you uploaded should show up shortly). A few years ago, G&W was kind enough to replace all their logos on websites with SVG versions, which are much higher quality. As I or other editors come across png versions, they will get replaced. If it interests you, you could certainly speed up the process yourself. I know you're not very active, so I wanted to make sure you knew there's no urgent need to respond to most of these messages. Thanks! Trainsandotherthings (talk) 15:56, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Trainsandotherthings: Wish I had time for such things. I would caution about the resolution you're uploading them at. I see File:Connecticut_Southern_Railroad_logo.svg was already bot tagged for a reduction. A large logo is not necessary for the articles and runs afoul of WP:NFCC, the PNGs I originally uploaded were sized down to comply with that. I'd recommend exporting any remaining ones at a more appropriate size (117 × 86 was the original size for the PNGs, I'm sure you could find a nicer number no more than 100px height). --Natural RX 05:12, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- I'm not sure why it's taking so long to do the reduction; normally the bot runs pretty fast and takes care of it, as it did for File:Massena Terminal Railroad Logo.svg. I take the SVGs from the G&W website, and for some reason, when I save them they're quite large even though they appear rather small on the website. My concern with the PNGs is that while the are appropriately sized, they're not as good quality. I will see what I can do to ensure they aren't getting uploaded so large going forward, thanks for letting me know. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 13:55, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
