Page moves
[edit]Please don't move templates like you did at {{Country data Brazilian Federal District}} without prior discussion as it can break many links across Wikipedia unless handled correctly. Thanks. Nthep (talk) 18:04, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
Washington, D.C.
[edit]Is there a reason you're moving so many articles from "Washington, D.C." to "District of Columbia" without discussing beforehand? I think the pages should stay as "Washington, D.C.", per the parent article, Washington, D.C. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:51, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
- The encyclopaedic information must be made in accordance with the law and in accordance with the "Code of the District of Columbia" (https://beta.code.dccouncil.us/dc/council/code/), many of the subjects on those pages refer legally to the "District of Columbia". Napleabeau (talk) 21:56, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
- You should discuss moves on talk pages. I suggest you seek advice on the Washington, D.C. talk page to propose page moves for related articles. I've undone most of your recent D.C.-related edits. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:01, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
As for this edit please note this is about the whole area, not just DC. WhisperToMe (talk) 23:20, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
Flag of the District of Columbia. listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Flag of the District of Columbia.. Since you had some involvement with the Flag of the District of Columbia. redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so.
