Hanswar

[edit]

I have reverted your changes to Hanswar. The complete replacement of the page was inappropriate. Addition of referenced, encyclopedic material is welcome, and I encourage you to edit the article. I can assist you in doing that. Discussion about how to improve the article can be discussed at Talk:Hanswar, and I invite you to post any questions you have about improving the article there. Regards, -- Whpq (talk) 15:16, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not replace formatted text with redundant unformatted text as you did recently at Hanswar. Also, people are not references. See WP:RS to understamd whart a reliable source is. If you have questions, or any discussion related to improving the Hanswar article, you can post them at Talk:Hanswar. Please do not add the material again. Regards. -- Whpq (talk) 13:02, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

READ THIS NOTE PLEASE - People are not considered references. Reliable sources are needed and not the names of people. Please do not add them back in to the Hanswar article wihtout prior discussion on the talk page as I have already stated twice before. -- Whpq (talk) 13:47, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Hanswar. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing.  Doulos Christos ♥ talk  13:54, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Hanswar. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Queenie Talk 14:00, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Hanswar.  Doulos Christos ♥ talk  14:01, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for refusing to communicate on your talk page about concerns regarding WP:V and WP:RS. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text Your reason here below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Nafees.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. — neuro(talk) 23:09, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

March 2009

[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Hanswar. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. You were previously blocked for adding improper references and refusing to communicate about the changes. Despite this block, you've done the same thing again. Please do not do this again. There is a section in the article talk page specifically dealing with references. Please use that for discussion before adding these again. Whpq (talk) 21:40, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Hanswar. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. [edit]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, File:Hanswarmap.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). As a copyright violation, File:Hanswarmap.jpg appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. File:Hanswarmap.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

 • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:File:Hanswarmap.jpg and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
 • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:File:Hanswarmap.jpg with a link to where we can find that note.
 • If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:File:Hanswarmap.jpg.

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 17:38, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sandbox

[edit]

Based on your edits on Hanswar, it appears that you are not fully familiar with wiki syntax. That's okay. We all were in the same situation when we first started editting. However, the article is not a good place to experiment or test. If you want to do tests and see how things turn out, please use WP:SANDBOX which is specifically designated for experimentation and testing. Regards. -- Whpq (talk) 20:38, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Hanswar, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You have already previously been blocked for repeatedly adding people as references. People are not references'. Do not add these back again!" Whpq (talk) 17:24, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Nafees

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. As the article namespace is for encyclopedic content and not tests, the page you made will soon be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Problems with upload of File:Hira Prayer 8.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Hira Prayer 8.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
