Muhammad Hamdan Bin Jarsh moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Muhammad Hamdan Bin Jarsh, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. You are adding WP:AFC templates in error

[edit]

I find it perturbing that you are adding formal templates from the Articles for Creating project to talk pages of articles and to your own talk page implying that your drafts, now articles, have been reviewed by a reviewer. You are not, to my knowledge, a reviewer, and the adding of these templates is, at best, misleading.

Please stop doing this. Please also explain where the instruction to do this has come from. FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 23:12, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not ignore me. I asked Please also explain where the instruction to do this has come from. I woudl appreciate the explanation please.
In addition, when you move an article form Draft: to main space you do not clean up after yourself. You leave the AFC artefacts in plain sight, and you do not add the article to any categories.
You appear to be part of an editathon which uses #KMUOS. Please may I know who is the guide/host/tutor of the editathon, or the reason for the use of the hashtag? FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 16:48, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Just in case you have not seen it, I have "pinged" you and left a reply on my talk page. I suggest we keep any dialogue there to keep things together. The response in this message is separate from that, really
Wikipedia needs you to understand referencing. For a living person we have a high standard of referencing. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS, and is significant coverage. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact cited, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make ab article a clear acceptance (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the person is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.
This is one of the things that is very important to learn. Since you are graded on the publishing status of an article you may discover that this with incorrect referencing are nominated for deletion, or are placed back into Draft: FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 17:21, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Muhammad Khair Al Shaal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no significant coverage in multiple reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article. Lacks notability and has not been shown to pass WP:BIO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Muhammad Khair Al Shaal for deletion

[edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Muhammad Khair Al Shaal is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Muhammad Khair Al Shaal until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

You may not copy and paste a draft into an article.

[edit]

stop You copied the full text of Draft:Muhammad Khair Al Shaal to Muhammad Khair Al Shaal. This is not allowed. It causes work for other people, but that is not the main reason. Wikipedia edits are attributed to the editors who make them. This is part of the licence under which we work. Copying and pasting ruins the attribution trail for the work.

I understand you wish to have this article on Wikipedia. The state it is in after the move means you have made this far more difficult that it should have been. There is a strong probability that it will now be deleted because the referencing is so poor that the person is likely to be deemed to fail Wikipedia:Notability (people). This means that any subsequent article on the subject will be scrutinised very carefully indeed.

A move like this is also considered to be Wikipedia:Disruptive editing, the more so since you have lived this article between draft and main space before. This means that your edits will also come under scrutiny.

You are welcome to edit Wikipedia, but you must obey the rules. Not doing so will, in due course, result in the loss of your editing privileges. This is a formal warning of which we have several levels. This is at level 1. Please do not get to level 2. FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 08:44, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The page Muhammad Khair Al Shaal has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review Liz Read!
