Information icon Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Please communicate on the talk page, as your recent edits, which you should revert, push a more American-centric point of view and go against the ongoing consensus at Talk:2024_Summer_Olympics_medal_table#Which_country_to_list_first_in_tie_for_"most_gold_medals". Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to assume bad faith when dealing with other editors, as you did at Talk:2024 Summer Olympics medal table, you may be blocked from editing. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia. "You do not own this article. You do not speak for Wikipedia. You are just a user with an opinion, which I frankly don't care about. Stop pushing an agenda that, at its heart, clearly tries to present a novel solution as some sort of obvious standard..." – Assume better faith of those who have been constructively working to improve an article instead of attacking them. Information icon Hi Meellk! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at United Kingdom that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 08:41, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Poland

[edit]

Hi. Please refrain from Wikipedia:Edit warring at Poland article as you have done so in the past. The lead section is a point of summary; the Second Polish Republic was engaged in many conflicts during this period and a series of ideological/territorial wars, which I have linked. Your edit was not "long-standing", as you so called it. If you disagree, then let's return to the very original lead section, where this was not mentioned either, though this would not be productive. Merangs (talk) 13:33, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I simply copied the shorter paragraph from an earlier revision. Seemed long-standing enough for me. What are your objections? And what is your objection to highlighting the Polish-Soviet war. The partitions are highlighted, the Solidarity movement is highlighted. Why not the Polish-Soviet war? Without Poland's victory in it, there would've been no Poland today. Seems important enough to mention. Other conflicts were orders of magnitude less important. Meellk (talk) 13:38, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
