Norwegian box punk

Blocked once per his talkpage (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:94.246.24.60) and he continues, as seen in Carles Puyol. If he is also the "user" that followed, User:Fcb 1019, I do not know, but M.O. certainly is the same. The latter, after being warned, did this (https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Radja_Nainggolan&diff=687981340&oldid=687795834) in Radja Nainggolan.

Several Sheff Wed players'...

...boxes are being "ravaged" with goals for ALL competitions being inserted, in spite of the clear instructions (i.e. Lucas João anyone?). Your suggestion? Revert and ignore? Well, if you choose that that's one option I would (simply) say...

Balkans Cup / Mitropa Cup

Balkans Cup and Mitropa Cup needs to be improved, to create more seasons, there is not so much to write in one season, because it was just QF SF and Final round. Can you propose this on Wikipedia Football or somewhere to be created ? or if you want to create it. Thanks.--Alexiulian25 (talk) 07:59, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Belgrade IP

Thanks for this - I've blocked for block evasion, I've run in with the IP previously at Kenny Stamatopoulos where they kept on re-adding unreferenced material claiming it was sourced, ended up semi-protecting the article... GiantSnowman 08:55, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, it could be possible, but I've never done one - I normally ask at ANI, because the experts there can tell how many IPs will be affected. GiantSnowman 10:12, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Aaron

I don't have any sources only Aaron himself as I know him and his family well and know he started his youth career at Liverpool aged 12 Davidfoster254 (talk) 22:26, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Danny Price Boxer

I added Danny's place of residence and you removed it. I am new to editing Wikipedia, how do i edit without you removing. Please asvise BiggieBoggs (talk) 18:36, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

RE: Newport County

Almost every other football club page doesn't include the away capacity for a ground, so I was bringing it in-line with that. Away "capacity" varies from game to game, so it is almost a redundant point, and I don't see how or why the Newport County page is an exception. 81.96.94.137 (talk) 17:30, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

Stop Biting the Newbies

Templating the talk page for IPs that are provided by mobile telephone providers is fucking stupid, especially if tht talk page already has a huge banner telling you that it's provided by a mobile telephone provider. Those IP addresses get churned very often. Your template achieves nothing positive, but does bite the newbies. --82.132.232.222 (talk) 15:27, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

Richard Pacquette

The Richard Pacquette statistics from Hampton & Richmond Borough FC Pitch Hero website are not accurate. You will have to read match reports and official Twitter updates to find that he featured in the following Isthmian League games this season: Harrow Borough (a), East Thurrock (h), Lewes (a), Metropolitan Police (h), Staines Town (a), Burges Hill Town (h), Lewes (h), Billericay Town (a), Dulwich Hamlet (a), Merstham (h), Leiston (a)
Goals: Dulwich Hamlet (a) and Merstham (h)

Clayton

Hello. With Mr Donaldson on the verge of his debut for Jamaica, do you have views on wording the introductory sentence, to avoid "English-born Jamaican" and the like? Personally, I'd go with ...is a Jamaican international footballer who plays as a striker for Birmingham", not keen on having the blue "Jamaican international" next to the blue "footballer" but it strikes me as the least worst alternative. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 12:33, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Good to hear, and right on the back of James Meredith making his debut for Australia; YCFC is a veritable production line of international footballers :) In these cases I usually go with the unambiguous "is a professional footballer", but I'm not opposed to your wording, as it is a statement of fact. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:37, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Re your "only warning"

here. The editor concerned made one edit last night, adding what seems to be a completely random number to a player's stats for his current club, which according to Soccerway were already correct as of the timestamp. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 11:06, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article History of York City F.C. (1980–present) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Disruptive editing

Hi there, any chance you could stop 191.7.157.249 in his tracks? They have been removing sourced content and adding unsourced content as well content with unreliable references, all in relation to nationality/ancestry. Regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 04:37, 21 November 2015 (UTC)

Lucas João / Others

Matty, AL "here",

if not page protection, then I don't know what will stem this (infobox) tide. If you do decide to protect, either: 1 - i'll create another account; 2 - I don't give a rat's ass I won't be able to edit there anymore (small price to pay for integrity of article).

Semi-protected for a week. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:12, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. And what about this vandal of the highest caliber (please see here https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Special:Contributions/109.225.93.61)? Their actions are difficult to detect, but I see where they come from with their M.O. 99% of the time, years in the infobox (all they do whenever editing football, from what I see) are changed for no reason. Major example of this? Argel Fucks, gained ONE CAP for Brazil which, according to this "user", came after a hard-fought match that lasted 12 YEARS! Some actions are not as harmful even tough they are wrong (i.e. leagues in all Nordic countries except Denmark run in one civil year instead of two and the person may not be aware of that, even tough it strikes me as strange since the IP is from SWEDEN), but some like the example provided above are downright provocative!

I have reverted all the pages where I edit regularly, but not all. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 21:41, 19 November 2015 (UTC)

  • Serious, serious stuff, the Swedish IP has REVERTED me (clicking the "undo" button, so they are somewhat aware of the editing proceedings) in Grégory Arnolin. Years totally fucked up in the infobox, mention that this player was a French international (!), this person is a downright vandal, but if no action is to be taken then maybe I shut up.

Have a nice week --84.90.219.128 (talk) 22:09, 22 November 2015 (UTC)

I've left an unsourced warning for the Andy Murray ‎ edit since the cited source still does not support the statement. There's a big difference between saying that he still can be #2 and saying that he will be #2. Meters (talk) 22:57, 22 November 2015 (UTC)

Regarding the article of Mr. Santos, in all fairness, since he played ages in Portugal I think his height should be 1.92 and not 1.93 according to both Portuguese sources (ZEROZERO and FORADEJOGO), but I have not reverted your reversion.

Mauricio Pochettino

Hello, thank you for restoring the content I removed. Removing the content was a mistake on my part. On the 'Individual' section of Mauricio Pochettino's article where it says 'Premier League Manager of the Month' there is a reference for 'October 2013' but no reference for 'September 2015', I meant to add a reference for September 2015, not remove the reference for October 2013. I'll add a reference to the other month. 86.14.22.13 (User talk:86.14.22.13) 21:44, 03 December 2015 (UTC)

RfA nomination Qed237

Hi.

I write this message to you as you are one of the administrators that I come in contact with on a regular basis.

The reason is this nomination at my talkpage from a editor that I dont have talk with very much, but I see him/her editing the same articles. I have been nominated by others before (never nominated myself), but in those cases I withdrew immediately, before voting started, because I did not feel ready.

Now I wonder if you, as an administrator, have any comments regarding this nomination or perhaps even questions? Do you think I have any chance of becoming an administrator and that I should move on with the nomination or should I withdraw? What is my next step?

Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 01:47, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

Matty, please, if you see fit (of course), could you "O.K." my pending changes in this player's article? Thanks in advance. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 19:47, 12 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Appreciate. Now, if you please (I don't know why on earth I still have not created a new account, fact is I still have not), can you match these two guys, Miguel Martelo Lourenço and Miguel Lourenço? I don't which would be more appropriate for disambiguation purposes "(footballer, born 1920)" and "(footballer, born 1992)" or "(Portuguese footballer, born 1920)" and "(Portuguese footballer, born 1992)", you'll be the judge.

Leagues in intro

Hello kind fellow user,

I thought it most definitely was grounded in policy (only thing that the community agreed upon, as far as my knowledge goes, is that one could write - but it's kind of redundant in my humble opinion - "...is a SPANISH footballer who plays for SPANISH club as a...". Other than that I remember reading (I just can't remember the thread/archive) one was not supposed to write leagues because of the constant updates required (relegations, promotions) and write country of club instead, with the nation (see above) not being mentioned in case a player played in own country. Has the overall picture changed again (as it often happens with WP:FOOTY discussions) and I missed it? Could be, if so, please re-revert and sorry for any inconvenience.

My summary, albeit not aggressive or belligerent, could have been a little "toned down", and for that I apologize. Attentively --84.90.219.128 (talk) 21:07, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Hello; sorry to bother you. I see you keep an eye on Middlesbrough F.C.. I wondered if you might have a view on the edits from this user such as this to Middlesbrough, and Newcastle, and Derby. I don't have a very strong view on this but I was just a bit surprised that the editor doesn't want to discuss it, won't engage with me on their Talk page about it, and just reverts me, without comment, if I change it back. I'm not going to get into an edit war with an IP over this but I did wonder if you had a view, or thought I should take it to the football project? Alternatively I can just stfu, as I understand people say, and let nature take its course - I don't need to engage with this editor and I don't mind all that much about the content going - it's more the (assumed) attitude that gets me. I appreciate you're trying to contribute in good faith, but there's a process that we all need to follow when updating stats. You've been asked to update the timestamp on a number of occasions and haven't. If you're unsure how to do it, just ask. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:49, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

The 'Leicester City' support part of the wiki article.

I noticed my edit was removed. I can only say I thought my edit was factual but I have now re done it and given a reference to the point about most Leicester games being sell outs and that source is from the BBC sport website. But I hope this is okay with you and I've explained clearly enough? Thank you for telling me to reference though, I do appreciate it and it's something for me to bear in mind in the future when editing wiki pages. If this part of the article is still not what you think is right, no worries at all and feel free to edit again. I'm only trying to make the page better from my own knowledge. The one reference I did struggle with though is Leicester's home gates not dropping below 20,000. Wiki is the only source I could find which has this info but I know Wiki cannot be used as a source. And, I have struggled to find any website with the right info I need to get proof of the point so if you find anything on that, that would be a helpful addition to this part of the wiki article. I'm genuinely very sorry if this has caused any hassle, I was only trying to help.

Thanks. AlexMlcfc (talk) 16:14, 23 December 2015 (UTC)

Appearance of career stats tables

Hi, since you're an admin and a regular editor of footballer articles, I'd like to ask you for your help with an editing conflict I have with User:Kingjeff.

You're probably aware of how in career statistics tables dashes are often used instead of nils to improve readability. Apparently, Kingjeff likes to take this to the extreme, merging nil cells from different club stints into a single dash cell. This results in messy, disorientating abominations like this one. Since coming across that table on the Felix Kroos page, I have tried to "fix" other tables affected by this layout issue only to find Kingjeff reverting my changes (twice on the Thomas Müller article, for example).

Before this moves into into 3RR-territory: what's your stance on this? Dashes are not mentioned in the player template so I don't know whether using them is a matter of consensus at all. But the way Kingjeff uses them seems way off. I have contacted him on his Talk page to that effect but he doesn't seem to be interested in a proper discussion so I am at loss at how to deal with this situation. Regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 04:43, 23 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi, per the player MoS you link to above we are allowed to include dashes; the "Wiki City (loan)" line includes them. I only use them when a player's team did not play in a competition, or where a player was not eligible to play in a competion (e.g. cup-tied, not registered with the team within the dates they played in a competition). I agree with you about the formatting at Felix Kroos; aesthetically it looks messy, and it's no more effective at providing information to readers. I think you should start a disucssion at WT:FOOTY, and notify Jeff of it. I'd also alert Struway2, who I consider to be something of a pioneer with regards career stats tables. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 16:20, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
"something of a pioneer"... oo er... Personally, I find the Felix Kroos table genuinely difficult to read across because of the multiple differently merged column-pairs. It certainly has an adverse affect on my ability to take in the contents of the table at a glance; my eyes get distracted by the boundaries of the almost-empty areas and interfere with my reading of the row I'm actually interested in.
From a screen-reader accessibility point of view, the last relevant discussion was at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 98#Players' career statistics. As noted at the player style guide, an editor with accessibility expertise said that, while "there is a slight advantage in accessibility when you repeat cells, rather than rowspanning them", "our readers won't be disadvantaged noticeably if we don't repeat every cell that contains duplicate data". But that discussion just dealt with repeating the league division every row or not, not having multiple wodges of merged cells. Don't know if there are accessibility issues with taking cell merging to that extreme?
This morning, when I was clearly more interested in my computer than what was being said to me, my other half said "don't you get time off for good behaviour?" Think I might not be here much over the next few days, if I know what's good for me :-) All the best for the festive season, cheers, Struway2 (talk) 20:03, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for your replies, Mattythewhite and Struway2, I'd missed them until just now. I will start a discussion as suggested, probably sometime after the festive season. ;-) Cheers, Robby.is.on (talk) 00:44, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

Reserve games dispute

I've just seen the policy regarding reserve games. From what I got, there was a dispute on whether or not if a few matches from reserve teams should be included. Therefore, if it's more than a few, it's acceptable (i.g. Adrien Thomasson)? If, say, 2 matches, then remove them? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:384E:EFA0:FDB3:3A3:F06A:F45B (talk) 06:47, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Define "a few"? Whats the difference between 2 or more than that? An appearance is an appearance no matter which way you look at it and should be included in the infobox.

* Senior club appearances and goals counted for the domestic league only and correct as of 16:16, 27 December 2015 (UTC).

I just wanted to check if "16:16, 27 December 2015 (UTC)" is still the correct way of updating the club-update section in the infobox? Just wondering, as NoahBFC came in on the Brentford pages at the start of the season and started updating as "27 December 2015" and no mods corrected it, until yourself on Jack O'Connell a short while ago. Just wanted to check, so I write it correctly when I do it. Beatpoet (talk) 16:39, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi, per Template:Infobox football biography#Parameters, we should insert a "timestamp (~~~~~) at which the player's infobox club statistics are correct". This has always been the case the time I've been here. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 16:49, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
OK, cheers for the clarification. Aside from this, I'm getting tired of people who don't update both the apps and goals in the infobox, not to mention those who don't update the career statistics box at the same time. Beatpoet (talk) 19:25, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Page was moved some months ago to the current title, meaning the two years of abuse I suffered at the "hands" of the Colombian punk were in vain. "Quique Flores" would suffice 100% well, as all the people except the aforementioned "person" seemed to agree with, don't know what has changed from then to now (same person is still that Mr. Flores chap, doing the same thing he did in 2012, coaching a football team), but on with the show...

My question to you is the following: given that, can we at least maintain "Quique Flores" as the sporting name or does it also have to be "Quique Sánchez Flores" as the Colombian harasser says (he harassed me, alright)? If so, please revert the second of my three edits (if he does not before, with this dynamic address https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Special:Contributions/186.170.31.134). This question is addressed to your person because you reverted the mentioned user in Mr. Flores' article last week.

Attentively --84.90.219.128 (talk) 19:39, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi, the article was moved to "Quique Sánchez Flores" as the result of this requested move, the argument being that this is his most commonly used name. And comparing the Google results for "Quique Sánchez Flores" with "Quique Flores", I have to agree with it. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:03, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

With much (due) respect Matty, question still unanswered, that being: was I correct to revert the Colombian punk in the subject's sporting name? If so, re-revert, or do tell me and i'll duly oblige. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 20:22, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Matthew Upson birthplace

Hello. Noticed your amendment citing the 2010/11 PFA Who's Who. Mr Hugman has since corrected himself, at the player's profile on his website. I believe the Upson family home was in Diss, and he went to school there, but he was born in Eye, Suffolk, presumably because that's where the nearest maternity hospital was. I know we can't use Findmypast as a source for living people, but I don't see why we can't use it to determine which of two alternative secondary sources is correct: his birth registration on there shows him registered in Hartismere district, which was wholly in Suffolk and contained Eye. There are a lot of results for "Suffolk-born" and for Hartismere, and the Diss Express, who you'd think a) would know, and b) would claim him for themselves if they could, has "former Diss High School pupil" but "Eye-born". cheers, Struway2 (talk) 13:09, 29 December 2015 (UTC)

Hopefully you are not cross as I seem to (partially) infer from your summary. I was only trying to help, as were you of course.

Just getting pissed off at the amount of vandalism by those bigoted bastards on other articles. I have never seen one of them who is a constructive editor on here. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 23:23, 31 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi, comparing these diffs [1], [2] and [3] I think that they are all clearly socks of each other and I am inclined to extend the block of Sir gidabout to indef. Are you OK with this? Just Chilling (talk) 18:48, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

I'm not convinced they are; it's quite common that fans update the stats of their team's players, so I think this evidence is too weak. And LBorgo 853 wasn't even editing when Sir giabout was blocked (although it does appear to be a vandalism-only account). If they were doing Sir gidabout's trademark of adding unsourced managerial statistics, I would agree. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:55, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

A simple WHY? with TW

Hello there! You could have left me a message when you reverted my edits on Klopp's article. If you see today's news,Nimr al-Nimr has been executed, and if the article of it is present on sister projects, we add them. It is supported at Wikipedia:Wikimedia sister projects.
14.139.242.195 (talk) 09:03, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

The leagues in intro notwithstanding (it is being discussed in the pertinent place), I explain my actions now (should have conferred with you first, apologies):

1 - chart below (because your actions were undertaken in said section), I feel one should have only one field ("publisher" or "work"), why both? 2 - order of cats, in the thousands of article I have edited regarding Spanish football, I have always left leagues (not only the Spanish mind you) in order of importance (La Liga to the lowest), that was my reasoning for the re-alignment.

Attentively --84.90.219.128 (talk) 17:11, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

I think the reasoning is that Centurycomm is the company that publishes the material, while Soccerbase is the subdivision that actually produces the work. @Struway2: will be able to give you a better answer. With regards categorisation order, there is no hard and fast rule; per WP:CATDEF, "The order in which categories are placed on a page is not governed by any single rule ". However, there is a dichotomy between how they are ordered on English and Spanish player biographies. The standard on English articles is to list all divisions (no matter the country) after the clubs, and to list them in the order the player played in them. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:07, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
If all else fails, read the manual Template:Cite web documentation. I quote:
  • publisher: Name of publisher; may be wikilinked if relevant. The publisher is the company that publishes the work being cited. Do not use the publisher parameter for the name of a work (e.g., a book, encyclopedia, newspaper, magazine, journal, website). ... Omit where the publisher's name is substantially the same as the name of the work (for example, The New York Times Co. publishes The New York Times newspaper, so there is no reason to name the publisher).
Soccerbase is a website, therefore we do not use the publisher parameter for it; we use the website (or work) parameter. Centurycomm is the company that publishes the Soccerbase website. Its name is not substantially the same as that of the work, therefore it is not omitted.
Seems clear enough to me. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 18:43, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

So, one field (work/website=Soccerbase) would suffice no? Don't worry, will not be changing anything, just asking. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 19:46, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

If I may get involved: Yes, often it does suffice, I think. Struway wrote: "Omit where the publisher's name is substantially the same as the name of the work" and in my experience the publisher's name many times matches the name of the work. Robby.is.on (talk) 19:53, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

Thank you very much all three for your inputs. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 20:09, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

Newsbank urls

Hello. Noticed you updating Steve Bruce to the new-format urls. I'd advise you to self-revert: the old urls are accessible without a login/subscription, but the new ones aren't. Try clicking on one. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 20:48, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

I checked them all before updating the links, and each one works fine for me. I've uploaded what's on my screen for this piece onto Photobucket so you can see what I see. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:05, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
What I get, when I click that url, is a page asking me to login. I think once you've loaded the page at the old url, it's still available at the new one for the duration of your current session. Try clicking this one. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 21:35, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
Works fine for me. I think it might be best to bring this to a wider audience, and if it becomes clear they're not working I'll happily replace them with the old links. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:49, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) I am asked to login, the same experience as Struway2 is having. JMHamo (talk) 21:52, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
Aaah. Looks like it's once you've got into the site at all, you can read the new urls. Because when I first clicked your link above, I got the login screen. But now, after I've been on the site via an old url, when I click your link I do get the page. So if you logged out, or cleared your cookies or whatever loses your link to the site, I'd guess you won't be able to read them either. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 21:58, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
I'm guessing therefore that if @JMHamo: clicked on a valid "old" url, say ref #8 at Bill Hooper (footballer), and then came back and clicked one of the new ones that were previously inaccessible, they'd now be visible? cheers, Struway2 (talk) 22:05, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

@Struway2: That's correct, now I can read the article. JMHamo (talk) 22:09, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

If I purge my browser cache and click on the original link, I will not be able to read without logging in, so it's not optimal. Using the old URLs is the way to go... JMHamo (talk) 22:13, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
I'll get on with restoring the old links sometime tomorrow. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:50, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi mate, hope you're doing fine. About your threatening message I tell you I came to Paolo Vernazza through an RSSF.com article (http://www.rsssf.com/players/ital-players-abroad.html) which cites him as an "Italian Player". David Amoo reverted edits

Hello I recently noticed that you reverted my edits on the page david amoo with the reason being not notable. My question is are league goals only worth adding as cup goals are too insignificant to be including in the main career information? Regards Partickthisle123 Partickthistle123 (talk) 23:16, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

Goals are scored all the time, we really don't need to write about all of them in the prose section. Mattythewhite (talk) 23:18, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

Kris Faulds page

I used soccer way to verify his stats and I don't understand why this is disruptive if I'm looking up the information on the website. You literally deleted my edit, put in the same information, then claimed I was wrong and threatened to block me, is this how Wikipedia conducts business? EdmondCA (talk) 15:41, 10 January 2016 (UTC)

If you looked carefully at my edit, you will see I updated the "pcupdate" parameter; something you have been asked to do on multiple occasions. This is the reason you were warned. I highly recommend you actually take a look at this message, which has been on your talk page since July 2015, and take it on board. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:36, 10 January 2016 (UTC)

Re: Faulds page

It's honestly more trouble than it's worth to edit on this website. Block me if you want I don't even care anymore, this is such a pain in the ass. EdmondCA (talk) 21:09, 10 January 2016 (UTC)

Is adding five tildes to a page really too much trouble for you? I find that completely unfathomable. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:12, 10 January 2016 (UTC)

Bits and pieces

1 - this person (please see here https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Minas7#January_2016) continues at it, with said account.

2 - at a total loss as to what can be done at the William Modibo article, person continues to add gibberish (regarding proper use of English), and much MUCH worse, continues to add player is Portuguese (so obvious he "is", right? With that name and place of birth). The person's only summary is "www.lanexangunited.com", not very clear, is it? I took the trouble of visiting the website and, yes, there he is listed as Portuguese, but he's not!

3 - do you think it is possible to retrieve João Jaquité' (previous called "João Lamine Jaquité")'s former storyline? Article was created without having passed WP:NOTABILITY, but now it does and, as always User:Alexanderalgrim wasted no time in presenting his approach on a storyline, which is the same for ALL articles, and the refs he adds are either dead in no time (LPFP.PT) or user-generated (ZEROZERO.PT). Plus, I think he still creates non-notable articles and (this I don't "think", I am sure), after eight years here, the talks to no one and does not write any summaries.

Attentively, thanks in advance --84.90.219.128 (talk) 19:48, 10 January 2016 (UTC)

Both users warned, and I've added William Modibo to my watchlist. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:24, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
In response to 3): I think I've done it without making a pig's ear of things. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:20, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) For attribution and fairness, given he wrote and ref'd the subject's debut, shouldn't Alexanderalgrim's contributions to the article be merged into the history? cheers, Struway2 (talk) 18:55, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
Beg pardon, please ignore me. I didn't look at the talk page. Sorry, Struway2 (talk) 19:05, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

Kudos! --84.90.219.128 (talk) 18:34, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

  • User:Struway2: no he did not, ALL refs he adds (LPFP and/or ZEROZERO) never say anything about debuts - nor do they have any resemblance to a report - it's just a match sheet that (I repeat) either does not "stand the test of time" or is user-generated. However, if you think his is still better than the ones I added (where coach says he will hand him his DEBUT), do revert me. Happy 2016 to yourself --84.90.219.128 (talk) 19:01, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

Plus, I notified Mr. Algrim of the discussion by highlighting his username. I don't think I was insulting or akin in my approach, would really like to hear his two cents, but of course I don't see it coming to fruition, not after (I repeat) eights years. Attentively to all parties --84.90.219.128 (talk) 19:27, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I know you're in the scrupulous right side, remarking ridiculous criteria of the UEFA statistics, but there is more than the common sense to considerate the second goalkeeper as a winner of the tournament: Bravo with the medal of winner. Jurgen Klopp profile picture

Evening admin Mattythewhite, I believe you found my edit irrelevant : well I strongly oppose that specific view on the subject. Let me explain myself, Klopp has recently joined LFC, and an honest depiction of the manager would be a recent one. The current one, where he is younger and clearly holding a press conference at Dortmund, does not accurately depict Klopp anymore and his therefore outdated. I hope you can here my complaint and reverse your decision, sincerely,
