Catholic
[edit]With the page for John Stroger needing a citation for his faith, how can we confirm he is Catholic? CNMall41 (talk) 20:29, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- It was already on the page. maybe he isn't though? -- MalawiMaui (talk) 03:55, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Understood. I see where it says he "was" a member of a church but that also needs a citation because it is not sourced. I would say we need to verify the information prior to adding the categories, especially since it is a biography. I can go through and verify some of these when I get time during the week. Happy editing. --CNMall41 (talk) 22:42, 16 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sockpuppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. Request reason:
I kept my promise of being inactive for that period of time. I have since forgotten my old password and that is the only reason I created this account. I was not able to find the password on my computer. I did not vandalize anything. I wanted to complete something that was left unfinished as it looked a bit sloppy. I am not vandalizing anymore. As shown right here, I have been inactive for that time period. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Fenetrejones MalawiMaui (talk) 18:45, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You did not keep your promise. You set up this account to evade your block, violating WP:SOCK and WP:EVADE, rather than contesting your ban. Had you kept your word and refrained from editing and instead, contested your ban, there was a chance your ban might have been lifted. Instead, you didn't do that. You returned to editing. That's not "zero editing", that's "editing". There's a huge difference between not editing and editing. I simply don't believe you fail to understand this. You've abusively used sockpuppets over and over again. If you sincerely claim you don't understand the problem here, WP:CIR applies and Wikipedia simply isn't for you. Yamla (talk) 20:05, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- This is utter nonsense.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:49, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- How? I did not edit for a long time period. I have been inactive. MalawiMaui (talk) 18:50, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- What does you being "inactive" have to do with anything? You are blocked and banned. Creating a new account just adds one more violation to your long list of violations.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:55, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- " WP:SO is an option for you after six months of zero edits. A sincere good luck with your mental health help, I hope it proves valuable. " from Yamla. That was in the conversation. I kept my word. I don't have my old password so I couldn't use that account. MalawiMaui (talk) 18:57, 17 November 2024 (UTC)

@Yamla, I don't even remember my old password. My impression was that I just had to keep the promise of the month time. I did that. I apologize for the misconception. If I may ask, may I appeal the block in a year or more, I will have long moved on by then. I apologize for the harm I did. I stopped the sockpuppets after that time period. I never ran this account over here https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:DixiePolitics#May_2024 . Regardless, I appreciate your respectful behavior, and I will leave. I am sorry about what I have done. MalawiMaui (talk)
- You can go at least six months (but a year would be better) with zero edits. Then you must contest your community ban (WP:CBAN) under WP:SO. No edits at all until you have successfully contested your community ban. WP:UNBAN explains how to do so. --Yamla (talk) 20:15, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you. I apologize for the misconception. Is it possible for me to contest the ban after six months but before a year? MalawiMaui (talk) 20:17, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
