Aadhaar
Hello, LeoFrank. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Aadhaar at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! – Corinne (talk) 17:25, 31 January 2018 (UTC) |
Hello, LeoFrank – I have completed as much copy-editing as I could at Aadhaar. I had worked through the entire article, making quite a few copy-edits and minor re-wordings. Then I started re-reading the article and realized that there were quite a few duplicated passages, and sections, out of chronological order, which I hadn't noticed earlier. I don't know what happened, whether I inadvertently clicked on something or simply hadn't noticed the duplication earlier. I also noticed that some of the duplicated passages did not contain the copy-edits I was sure I had made. I worked to remove the duplicated passages. I either removed the version I hadn't copy-edited and left in the one I had, or re-did my edits. You might want to look through the revision history carefully to be sure I did not mistakenly remove a paragraph completely from the article. (Keep in mind that a removed paragraph may look slightly different from the one in the article since it would not contain my copy-edits.) I found that, to avoid confusion, the best guide was to look at the time phrases. I worked to get the paragraphs in strict chronological order.
I changed the section headings in the History section to reflect the actual periods mentioned in the paragraphs.
I also looked for duplicate links and removed those, but there may be a few more. The rule, according to MOS:OVERLINK, is that a term should be linked in the lead, and at the first mention after the lead, but not after that, unless it is a somewhat technical term that the reader must understand in order to understand a passage (usually in science and technology articles).
There are a few small issues I'd like to ask you about, but I need to take a break from the article now. I'll get back to you either later today or tomorrow on those. Best regards, – Corinne (talk) 17:40, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Corinne: Thanks a lot for your copy edits. I do see it took quite sometime to clear up the mess. Appreciate your hardwork. — LeoFrank Talk 05:59, 2 February 2018 (UTC)

Page mover granted
Hello, LeoFrank. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, and move subpages when moving the parent page(s).
Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect
is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.
Useful links:

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! TonyBallioni (talk) 02:39, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
Moved the page to Agartala Airport
I am living in Agartala. And you are in Banglore. So you are not aware of the recent updates. You are correct its a proposal & not yet announced officially. But within this month only it will be announced to Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur Airport. Even hordings with new name is made in Airport. And with in few days only it will be installed. So it is confirmed that the proposal of rename will be accepted. So I do not why you move the page. Air India's Destinations at BLR
Hello Leo,
Thanks for writing to me. I did not "introduce incorrect articles". Air India really has scheduled services between Bangalore and Guwahati. Please cross check before removing my edits. Jaggi Vasudev
I did a lot of work that was removed from the Jaggi page. Among the things I added was a link to his blog where the statement in the Early Life section, "Born in Mysuru, Karnataka to Susheela and Dr. Vasudev, Jagadish was the youngest of four children" has citation. Jagadish is Jaggi Vasudev's name. In analogy to the way the full name of Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter is handled on their pages, I added Vasudev's full first name at the beginning of the Jaggi Vasudev article. If Indian nicknames don't work the same way, then I apologize for causing a problem. Geographyinitiative (talk) 03:23, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
- I am NOT requesting a move (WP:RM). Look at the Bill Clinton page- the first line gives his full name. Geographyinitiative (talk) 03:46, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Geographyinitiative: Blogs are not reliable sources and in case of biographies, we prefer to have secondary sources since most primary sources will claim anything to glorify the subject. You are also edit warring on the article. Please edit with caution. — LeoFrank Talk 03:50, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
Christ University
I have posted a proposed move here. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 22:21, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
- (Discuss) – Christ University → Christ (Deemed to be University) – The university's website https://christuniversity.in/ uses the new name. Another editor feels that using the new name would go against naming policy. Two previous moves to the new name have been reversed. Under Indian law, a deemed university has most of the privileges of being a full-fledged university without actually being one, so I think the distinction is a valid one. Revert introduction of Hrithik Roshan
The updated introduction comes from the news articles that were added as reference as below.
Hrithik Roshan (English: /ˈrɪtɪk ˈrɒʃən/, born 10 January 1974) is an Indian actor who is regarded as a Millennial Superstar, having marked his acting debut in 2000 emerging to be an overnight sensation.[1][2] Please help me understand the exact reason as a complete UNDO was seen, looking forward for more contributions. Respond the message
Hello LeoFrank, Upon seeing your message to me on 'Chandigarh airport',I have cross verified from official schedule of Airline(Go Air) and it is to be noted that Chandigarh-Banglore(G8 805) is now re-routed as Lucknow-Banglore which disqualifies BLR as a destination airport for IXC's Go Air section. The same can be verified from various trusted sources. The content has been removed. We believe in providing neutral views and to fight against vandalism. Feel free to revert back, OffSan — Preceding unsigned comment added by OffSan (talk • contribs) 17:57, 6 May 2018 (UTC)

Trichy Airport Page

Hi Leo, Hope you saw my message with my edit. Indigo has opened booking for Trichy to Kochin and Bangalore, if needed please verify yourself through their booking Engine. And I dont know what more is official source than a press release given by the Airlines to leading Media houses. Check the Google News feed and see that news came almost in all the national media websites. My earlier change was reverted, but today they opened the booking so i brought this back in the page. And your understanding of Airlines seems to be different. Schedules page wont be updated properly or regularly, but the booking engine is the more authentic source of running a flight. Even their Chennai Flight is not in the schedules page yet, why that edit is allowed. What you have done now is not fair and proper moderation. So please restore my edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deepu051993 (talk • contribs) 17:25, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Deepu051993: Booking engines cannot be used as sources. On the Chennai flight, see WP:OSE. You are more than welcome in removing Chennai as well. But AFAIK, this is present in the schedules of the airline. Also, it is not for editors to go and verify someone's claim. Also see WP:BURDEN. We are also not in a hurry to add content and can wait for the right time when the right sources are available. You have been reverted by two editors including me, so instead of edit warring, please hold on till we have the right sources. - Hi Leo, Can you pleas explain what do you mean by the schedules of Airline, is it thier schedules page or central schedules websites available online or something else. I would like to know what are all the right sources which will be accepted here. Wiki is a community to share the knowledge of people and the truth to max, so when you moderate something, i would expect you to do atleast a basic fact check, instead of moderating based on your knowledge, I didnt make any claims out of my mind, i am providing sources for the info and updating the data, this airport page is more fond for me and i have provided almost the entire content for the page. Hope you consider the airlines listing of new flight schedules as right source and revert your change. https://www.goindigo.in/information/new-flights.html?linkNav=new-flights_footer — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deepu051993 (talk • contribs) 11:57, 16 May 2018 (UTC)

Birsa Munda Airport
Hi, I'd just like to have a quick discussion related to IXR. Over the past month or so IP editors have been constantly removing the IndiGo Indore flight and as most IP's do they do it without an edit summary.I left that internal note template with full info but no use, some IP came and removed it again. As you have mentioned earlier at some places booking engines aren't very reliable sources but I believe DGCA schedules are, anyways a Google flight search will also give you the same results. This is heading nowhere and I thought it would be sensible to stop by here as you're also active at that page and are an experienced guy! Bingobro (Chat) 11:57, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Bingobro: Thanks for informing. I'll keep an eye on the article. Agree that 6E does indeed fly to IDR from IXR. In the meantime, could you weigh in here. There are umpteen issues related to Indian airports. — LeoFrank Talk 13:14, 24 June 2018 (UTC)

I would be keen to get some specifics on how I am able to improve the above submission. I have provided quite a few third party references that documents Charity Bank's history and evolution to become one of the UK's leading ethical banks for charities and social enterprises.
Any advice you can provide would be gratefully received.

Why are you so much interested to keeping the old name Agartala Airport even when it is being renamed yesterday by Prime Minister of India. And your are giving me threats of blocking me from editing. When someone warns/suggests you rather than ranting out, it is worth spending time in understanding how wikipedia works. Also, your seem to be here only for the sole purpose of POV pushing Agartala based articles, esp the airport. You also need to understand WP:BURDEN before hitting back the same thing you are accused of. The next disruption and I will report you to admins and you are likely to be blocked. — LeoFrank Talk 05:46, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- Admin here. I don't care who started it but this stops right now or both of you are likely to face sanctions. Stop yelling at each other and using the 5 pillars as a club to whack people over the head with. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:19, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Ritchie333: There is a big concern over naming issues with an airport esp with Indian airports. We still do not have a solution to that and I did start a discussion at the project page. My concern is how these two editors come and keep re-instating the same without any source. This was explained to both the editors in concern. Unfortunately, there are very few editors active on Indian Airport articles. If you likely to sanction a topic ban on me, please go ahead. The mess with these articles will only get worse. — LeoFrank Talk 12:35, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not looking at any topic bans, just calling for calm. If the problem is as serious as you suggest, you need to raise a thread at ANI. Reporting this at AIV will at best have no effect and at worst annoy admins who don't like editors accusing others of bad faith. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:43, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

- This is not significant to the airport article in any way. It does not matter if it is the only airport in the world to have such a temple. — LeoFrank Talk 06:07, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
SO foreigners dictate what should be there and what shouldnt be there ??!! Foreigners cant contribute but end up of erasing important info. First Wikipedia edit being spoilt by foreign people who know nothing!!! Stupid Waste of time dealing with such people!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.196.253.42 (talk) 08:14, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
Regarding my recent edits to Kempe Gowda I
Hi there, can you tell me the reason why my edits to Kempe Gowda I are not notable? And another question is can I reference e-papers like that? Rishi Muni (talk) 15:44, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
Rishi Muni (talk) 15:44, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
Rishi Muni, this person Leo Frank has job only to erase other people contributiobn. See the log how many info this guy erases. Shame on Wikipedia to give power to such people. We dont need this foreigner's permission to bring out good info. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.196.253.42 (talk) 08:17, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

I am CFO of Ventura Airconnect and made changes to reflect the current scenario of our company.
Why it has been reversed ???

- @Camayankmehta: It does not matter who you are. Your edits clearly do not conform our verifiability policy. Also, if you claim who you are, then you clearly have a conflict of interest and should not edit the article. — LeoFrank Talk 12:57, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
