Robbery laws in the United States
Why did you delete my page on Robbery laws in the United States? It is relevant and there is no other page like it on Wikipedia. It lists the penalties for robbery in all 50 states and is useful for people charged with the crime or who are doing research on law or robbery in particular. I have done nothing to warrant blocking. I have not done anything stated on the blocking policy page for this site. The page directly says that blocking is not supposed to be used for punishment. My article has a citation and contains accurate information on the crime of robbery. I personally searched each state's robbery statute to find information on this topic. The website I have cited provides a link to the robbery statute for every state. If you don't believe that this information is accurate, you can look it up for yourself. Also, the article is relevant to people who have an interest in law and robbery. It might not be relevant to you, but you are the only person to complain about this.Lethalninja (talk) 14:58, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Lethalninja: Listing all of those is not notable per our notability guidelines which is the reason it was redirected to an already existing article. — LeoFrank Talk 15:01, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Lethalninja: As mentioned in my previous messages, please go through our notability guidelines and what Wikipedia is not. — LeoFrank Talk 15:10, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- I have already read the guidelines and what Wikipedia is not, so tell me, what in particular is not notable about it? Robbery has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Robbery is a huge topic in culture and society and many people have been convicted of bank robbery, armed robbery, aggravated robbery, unarmed robbery, home invasion robbery, strong-arm robbery, attempted robbery, purse snatching, carjacking, hijacking, felony murder during one of these crimes, mandatory minimums, three-strikes laws, and eighty-five percent laws due to these crimes. Robbery is notable enough that when you hear the word, you think of a man pointing a gun at someone, screaming "Give me the money!" or a man passing a note to a bank teller demanding money. If you type in robbery movies, there will be 51 results immediately listed and 50 results on IMDb. What else would you call that, other than notable? If you tell me what is not notable about it, then I will not post it anymore. One more question, is my page on Voluntary manslaughter laws in the United States notable or not?Lethalninja (talk) 15:29, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- Did you delete my page on Voluntary manslaughter laws in the United States or just the page for robbery? Please tell me what is not notable about the robbery page. There is nothing on either the guidelines or what Wikipedia is not that proves the non-notability of my article.Lethalninja (talk) 15:42, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- Can you please stop redirecting my articles until you tell me what is not notable about them and if I continue to post them after you have told me? I asked you two hours ago, but you still haven't answered. If you are going to redirect my pages, at least give me a reason why, other than telling me to read the guidelines and what Wikipedia is not. I already told you that I have read those two pages and see nothing relating to my articles, so can you please just tell me what I need to fix?Lethalninja (talk) 17:29, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
@Lethalninja: Everything has already been explained to you, it is just not notable! I owe you no more answers. This time it wasn't me who reverted you. You are already engaging in an edit war which is again likely to cause a block on your account. SInce I have told you everything I had to ,we're done talking here. — LeoFrank Talk 17:48, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
This is my last comment. There is an article called "List of punishments for murder in the United States" that lists the punishment for murder in all 50 states. My articles "Voluntary manslaughter laws in the United States" and "Robbery laws in the United States" do the same thing except for different crimes. Why is the first article notable, but mine are not? Is it because the first page defines murder and my pages don't define voluntary manslaughter or robbery? That is the only major difference between that article and my articles. Please respond to this post and tell me if that is the reason why. If it is, I will be satisfied with your answer. If it is not, please tell me the reason. If you tell me the reason, I will either correct my articles or not post them. That is a promise. Thank you.Lethalninja (talk) 17:59, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

PROD and Rollback Removal
Hi there. I noticed that you were reverting an editors removal of a PROD template. Any editor (even IPs or the article creator) can remove a PROD template for any reason (or no reason at all) and once it is removed it should not be readded (see WP:CONTESTED.) Further, your usage of rollback in this scenario was inappropriate and not in accordance with our guidelines for utilizing the tool, to quote "[it is] considered inappropriate to use [rollback] in situations where an explanatory edit summary would normally be expected," in this case you improperly restored the removal of a PROD template, then rolledback any further attempts to remove it, then redirected the page and utilized rollback to enforce your action. Utilizing rollback in a content dispute is unacceptable (the same way utilizing admin tools is not allowed) and therefore I have removed your access to the tool. Finally, I remind you to be patient when dealing with newcomers, it is clear that this user was new and did not understand our policy however their edits are not simple vandalism and jumping right to a level 2 and then level 4 warning is not acceptable. We have graduated warnings for a reason and it is our obligation to assume the best of intentions and to explain our policies rather than simply stating "I owe you no more answers". We were all new and ignorant of Wikipedia's myriad of policies once and it is crucial to keep that in mind when dealing with new users. Thank you, Mifter (talk) 19:26, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Mifter: Thank you for your suggestion. I accept my mistake on both with dealing with the editor and with using rollback and I agree I lost my patience with the editor. I will keep these things in mind while editing from now on. Thank you. — LeoFrank Talk 15:40, 1 May 2017 (UTC)

Hi Leo Frank, Why are you constantly removing the content from Hyderabad Metro Rail article. It is not a crime to display the local language on WIkipedia. It is 100% acceptable. Please correct me, if I am wrong.
Why do you always undo the edits on Hyderabad Metro Rail page? Using local language is acceptable on Wikipedia.
Burden
WP:BURDEN says very clearly that it is the person who adds or changes Wikipedia details who is responsible for ensuring it is properly referenced. Andrewgprout (talk) 17:03, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Andrewgprout: I did mention the ref in my summary. The whole reason for not mentioning the ref in the table was as such they are deleted and the other reason is despite operating on a different aircraft on BLR-DEl sector, AI still marketed this flight as a BLR-DEL-SFO single flight.
- Through hubs are not valid here. Going by your point, HYD needs to be removed from ORD. The through hubs guideline is for situations where the passengers have to disembark and board a different flight altogether. In this case, it is one direct flight with a stopover. Simple!
- Just because you do not like something, it doesn't mean they have no valid reason to be added. Perhaps when you edit more while logging in than editing as an IP would be of great help. — LeoFrank Talk 17:53, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
Hello,
Following the change in aircraft from an Airbus A320 to a Boeing 777-200(LR), it would be true that this route continues onward from Delhi to Bengaluru. However, since Delhi is a hub for Air India, listing Bengaluru as a destination to/from SFO is hardly notable in any case (regardless of if the aircraft type is the same). This has been a long-time established WP:CONSENSUS discussed at WT:AIRPORTS. I'll reopen the discussion there regarding the Air India flight to/from SFO. Regards. 172.58.43.250 (talk) 14:54, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
- You seem to be misinterpreting the guideline altogether here. It is valid only when passengers need to disembark and change their aircraft. Going by your logic, HYD needs to be removed from ORD. — LeoFrank Talk 17:55, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
Welcome back!
Hello, I noticed you have recently resumed editing at Wikipedia. Just wanted to say welcome back and hope you stick around, I appreciated your edits! — Sunnya343✈ (háblame • my work) 01:48, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Sunnya343: Thank you for that. But I am not sure about sticking around. This community has gone from bad to worse. They get more tolerant towards disruptive editors and good ones are always targeted and demonized. It may just not be worth continuing here. — LeoFrank Talk 05:32, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
- I would just advise to be patient and try to talk it out! I once had some 15 consecutive edits all reverted on an airport article. I could've reported the user for vandalism, but I tried to have a conversation with the editor and I think this was a much better alternative. We were able to compromise, although more work is needed on the article I feel. Ultimately, if you know that your particular contribution is significant and valuable, then be sure that it will make its way onto the article, even if you need to have a discussion or make a compromise with other editors. Persistence and also some patience for editors not wholly familiar with WP policies might help you. Happy editing :) — Sunnya343✈ (háblame • my work) 13:10, 30 October 2017 (UTC)

i have not got time to look at the other edits you have made to kannur airport page, but why did you remove the native name of the airport? Most GA airport pages have native names, and that is purpose why wiki has included it in the template.Eightcubed (talk) 08:12, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Eightcubed: Firstly, the article is very poorly written, resembles an essay and also like a fan-site. Regarding the native name, see WP:INDICSCRIPT and just because something exists elsewhere, it does not imply that it cannot be removed or deleted. — LeoFrank Talk 11:30, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
- agree the page has issues and is a 'work in progress'. sorry to say your editing is not constructive.Instead of correcting mistakes you are deleting whole sections and subsections. The reasons you stated are generic copy paste templates and does not help improving the article. Now the compare history is disabled which makes things even worse. The page had been in a horrible condition with no data or references till last month. No one showed interest in editing it.dozens of airport pages are still in similar situation.very unfortunate that only when a page is being developed and expanded others come and do the easy work of deleting without even bothering to discuss in it in the talk page.Eightcubed (talk) 12:50, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Eightcubed: Per, WP:BRD, every user has the right to challenge any unsourced or poorly written content by deleting it. So, about being constructive, it's time for you as an Admin as rev del'd 80 odd edits due to copy-vio. Please get familiar with policies and then comment. - Again, generic guidelines which serves little purpose.Would you care to discuss your edits and reasons specifically in the airport talk page. For example you could have kept the 'Ground Access' section with only removing the details of the new roads.Or the section on airlines and destinations which specifically mentioned, with reference, those airlines which cleared all formalities and announced daily servies from the airport to specific airports. You dont need a crystal ball to add that part.every user who reads the article knows it is an upcoming airport from the first line and flights will take off only after commissioning, which will happen soon.
- And which are the 'unsourced' content you are mentioning.Unlike other stub class wiki pages the page has almost complete referencing as it took days to search add all the references.Eightcubed (talk) 13:44, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
- Also, we are in no hurry to add content to articles. Just because you added content when no one did, it still does not warrant the article to be overlooked from the poorly written content and also those that are copy-pasted from sources. — LeoFrank Talk 13:02, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
- Absolutely agree every user has the right to challenge and edit articles. And yes, please do edit all the poorly written, closely paraphrased, or copy pasted content.but please do it constructively by discussing in talk page.Eightcubed (talk) 13:44, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
@Eightcubed: Repeatedly re-adding content that has been challenged is unconstructive. As I mentioned earlier, Wikipedia is not in a hurry to add content. Moreover, the areas served are supposed to be "cities". If for you, generic guidelines serve little purpose, then I'm sorry to say, wikipedia is not the place for you. It looks like you like glorifying these badly written paragraphs. — LeoFrank Talk 14:20, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
- ok, can we shift this discussion to the airport talk page.you can begin with specifically siting the reasons for deleting the sections.take the ground acces section for example.Eightcubed (talk) 14:25, 24 December 2017 (UTC)

Edits on Kolkata Airport
Hi LeoFrank,
Hope you are doing good. I have no intention of going for an edit war here. I am indeed aware the reason why Cargo does not offer destinations however the procedure also states that we can include the destinations if we have the references. So if I provide the references, then will it be ok to retain the format because the number of freighter services from/to Kolkata is very less. Secondly, I have been fighting a lot of spamming happening in this page and you may check the edit history of mine as well. I have no real intentions of going against procedures however I only had a discontent that you were stuck to only one rule while it was existent for a long time and also the same exists in other airports as well. Anyway I apologise if I had disrespected you in any way however that is not my intention. I would like to contribute in a positive way adhering to the terms and conditions and do let me know how we can do with the cargo section going forward. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wonderbank (talk • contribs) 16:35, 28 December 2017 (UTC)

Ignoring WP:AIRPORTS
With this edit which you seem rather attached to [[1]] you are completely ignoring WP:AIRPORTS point 12 that says "For destinations with termination dates that have already been announced, add: "(ends date service ends)" after the destination. *References should be provided* (my emphasis)." and point 10 that says "Per WP:VERIFY, references must be included for "any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged," and this includes the list of destinations". I'm unsure why you appear to be ignoring this advice as I am certain you are aware of it. Andrewgprout (talk) 05:35, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Andrewgprout: I am very well aware of the need for references. But you are rather ironic in your editing. You have a problem adding a destination and a problem removing it esp given that in this case the destination itself does not have a reference.
- But the biggest irony is when people like you cite routesonline as a source for a commencement or termination of a route. Reason? Routesonline does the same thing – they scan through the schedules of the airline and if some route is not beyond a date or if they find a new route, they publish an article stating this; and they are a reliable source to be cited, but if a wikipedian does the same thing, you are the first one shouting: REFERENCES!
- In the CMB–BLR case by 9W, the route will be terminated as mentioned in the schedules of the airline. Unfortunately, the only schedules available by this airline is a downloadable PDF file which does not even have a link. — LeoFrank Talk 04:08, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
@LeoFrank: that sounds like WP:IDONTLIKEIT, nothing in your statement above says why you think you can ignore the requirements of the Wikipedia core policy WP:V - it just sounds like you are whining on because you are not allowed to do what you like. I agree that routesonline is very often a source for extemely poor quality references but it is often all there is - this severely questions the validity of the tables as a whole but that is a different issue. On wikipedia if you can't verify a fact it should not be put in. In this case you are either refusing to or can't reference the fact - and deriving a start/finish date from the online timetable by doing test bookings is not really an acceptable practice as it is WP:OR and not particularly reliable - there are all sorts of reasons that holes appear in timetables. What is required is a reliable secondary source. WP:SECONDARY Andrewgprout (talk) 04:44, 1 January 2018 (UTC)

New Page Reviewer granted
Hello LeoFrank. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.
- URGENT: Please consider helping get the huge backlog down to a manageable number of pages as soon as possible.
- Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
- Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
- Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Please note
Hi LeoFrank, from your user log I see you've had some extra flags removed a couple times for cause. New Page Review is now a much higher profile activity then it was when you first joined Wikipedia. Thank you for volunteering to help in this area, but please take it slow and be careful, misuse (even accidental) may result in revocation of access or other sanctions. The resources at Wikipedia:New pages patrol are expansive now and can be helpful. Happy editing, — xaosflux Talk 15:14, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

- @Bingobro: No offence, but I did not even see your username against the edit, was rather focussed on removing the Apr 2017 – Nov 2017 stats. I'm tired of removing stats from airports or List of the busiest airports in India which are not for one full year. Only yearly stats can give a correct picture of where an airport ranks in terms of the stats which is why anything below a year needs to go away. What other lot of edits of yours have I reverted? — LeoFrank Talk 16:38, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

- @Nitin NK: This has already been explained on your talk page here. We are an encyclopedia and not a directory. So, please stop re-adding the channel list. — LeoFrank Talk 09:42, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
Edits made to 'Malleswaram'
Leo,
There were typographical errors in the name of the institution - Indian Institute of Wood science. That is not the name of the institute, instead it is - https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Institute_of_Wood_Science_and_Technology
I added to the list of temples, and educational institutions. Why was this information reverted?
Please note the name of the locality is Malleswaram, not Malleswara as mentioned in some parts of the article. Eitherway, there is no consistency since it has different spellings throughout the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MsBlah (talk • contribs) 00:05, 28 January 2018 (UTC +5.5) (UTC)

KingQueenJack remove editing power, check his or her edits please? urgent...
Hi, reporting a most serious shocking edit in wikipedia by user KingQueenJack pushing hateful communist edits. He or she changed the picture of most revered founder of Falun Gong for a dog head. I reversed the changes. Checked out that user and he received several warnings, including a last warning. Please strip this user of editing power. Falun Gong is horribly persecuted in China and any misinformation can be detrimental even lethal for the people in China persecuted.I'm checking his or her other edits now... thank you very much for your previous efforts undoing disruptive edits by this person. It's important. Marieke

Reverting edits made to Biligirirange Hills page
Hi Leo,
Yesterday I had made a few edits to the page mentioned above. Seemingly, due to lack of online references, you reverted those edits.
I worked as Research Associate for the tiger reserve (it is not a wildlife sanctuary anymore), and the edits were made based on the official ten year conservation plan of the reserve. The plan is a 450 page document available only in hard copy.
How to provide references in such cases?
PS: The current data about it being a wildlife sanctuary and the estimated number of tigers mentioned is completely wrong and misleading. Different laws apply for wildlife sanctuaries and tiger reserves and I had conducted the camera trapping exercise to find the tiger numbers.

- @Akshaym1234: Many users may claim the same as above and state they have the right info. The question is, who to believe. (Please note: I am not questioning or doubting your work here, but it's a generic concern) Unless there is a reliable and verifiable source to add this info, we don't have to make these changes. Wikipedia can wait, there is no hurry to add information. — LeoFrank Talk 04:52, 28 January 2018 (UTC)

You reverted my edits and asked to message you... All the changes I made can be found on official Twitter handle of CPRO of BMRCL I don't know how to add Twitter links so I think u can add links to my edits... Here is link to account of CPRO BMRCL https://twitter.com/cpronammametro?s=09 Brahmananda Goutham (talk) 14:04, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Brahmananda Goutham: Ridership keeps changing everyday and CPRO posts only daily ridership. We can't keep changing this information on a daily basis. To actually include this information, what we need is the average daily ridership with the stats taken over a period of one year. We also cannot cite the twitter handle for the entire year and then sum up and take the average ourselves as we do not synthesize material from sources. What is required for this yearly stat is a reliable, verifiable and preferably a secondary source. — LeoFrank Talk 04:57, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi LeoFrank. You may want to have a look at this article. It seems this is a fork out of Kempegowda International Airport. You seem to have had some interaction with the author around 24 December. This fork does not make any sense on its own - it's probably a candidate for deletion or merger - but wanted to run this by you as you seem to have some background on this. I don't see any of those stats supported by the ref. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 18:44, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
