Please be more careful with Huggle
this edit reintroduced vandalism. In that case, one IP was trying to undo the damage a different IP had done. See the diff between your fix and my reversion to an earlier rev. Huggle may not do this automagically, but it's certainly appropriate to drop back and edit the article by hand when you see something like this. Cheers, Jclemens (talk) 00:15, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Geo Da Silva
Hi! This is just to let you know that I've de-prodded Geo Da Silva, as it had previously been the subject of a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I'll Do You like a Truck, where the outcome was redirect. If you would like to nominate the article for deletion at WP:AfD, I'll probably support you. Maethordaer (talk) 11:57, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

The article Charybdis (IRCd) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Does not seem notable
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:49, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your comments, which you added in discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/UnrealIRCd (3rd nomination). Please note that, on Wikipedia, consensus is determined by discussion, not voting, and it is the quality of arguments that counts, not the number of people supporting a position. Consider reading about the deletion policy for a brief overview of the deletion process and how we decide what to keep and what to delete. We hope you decide to stay and contribute even more. Thank you! Beeblebrox (talk) 16:51, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Admin help

See my archive box at the top. The newer archives have leading zeros in the month numbers. Could someone please move the older ones to the new format while suppressing the creation of redirects? I'll make sure the links are updated. — Kudu ~I/O~ 13:26, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- I could move them and mark for speedy deletion. ~~Ebe123~~ talkContribs 19:41, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Suppressing the creation of redirects seems like a neater solution. — Kudu ~I/O~ 19:43, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Well, any way you get the redirects suppressed and the archives moved. On a side note, your first and 7 (2011 b)th archive actually needs an sysop for the move, since history merge is needed. ~~Ebe123~~ talkContribs 19:45, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- That's right, it requires deleting the page with the new title format to make way for the move, and then restoring the other revisions. It'll be easier if an admin does it all. — Kudu ~I/O~ 19:50, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Done. Exempt for the 2 that cannot. Others did more. ~~Ebe123~~ talkContribs 19:51, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Common Dead
Hi, please, please, please do next time a real cleanup after/before accepting such a bad page like Common Dead. Check the revisions before and after my cleanup! A few named references and some replacements of google-redirects wasn't that hard. I will nominate that page also for deletion since I really doubt that this music group is notable. At least the links that the submitter provided are not either independent or good for proving that this group is notable. mabdul 15:10, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
"Appears non-notable"
With all do respect, you're very out of the scene to be talking about what's "non-notable". The citation is there and can be explored to counter your claims, which should have been done before your unwarranted rejection took place. Press and interviews aren't dolled out by the sources provided for some kid's garage band down the street. I've seen this guy open for some larger acts, and this article is overdue. Additionally, there already is an article for this subject in other languages on Wikipedia. So you judge too quickly. Know your metal, friend. 96.22.223.106 (talk) 18:51, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

- Thank you. I really should start an account but my IP address is always changing, which is frustrating because I don't get any "real" credit for a lot of the arts and music/band pages I've helped start up over the months. Do you know if an account must be tied to a specific IP address to stay valid? 96.22.223.106 (talk) 13:31, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- No, it doesn't have to be. That's the advantage of having a named account. :) — Kudu ~I/O~ 14:05, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
