COI notice

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Please do your research on copyrights

[edit]

If you look up copyrights you will see that’s one of the writers Please do your research on copyright Thank you Kings1005 (talk) 23:52, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is aimed toward me, you'd better learn how to tag somebody or post on their talk page because this looks silly. Stop adding fictional songwriters, probably your name, to articles, and all your edits to To the Moon (song) are just going to be reverted, so stop. Thank you. Ss112

Look up copyrights is not hard to find out who are the writers It’s not fictional is public records Kings1005 (talk) 21:54, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If Mercedes King is a legitimate songwriter, why are there no Google search results for their name being attached to this song anywhere but on some basic, easy-to-dupe copyright.gov listing? That's what I thought. You will be blocked. Ss112 22:15, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at To the Moon (song) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Final warnings

[edit]
  • You need to use reliable sources when adding content. Until you understand what reliable means on Wikipedia, there's a list of usable sources at WP:RSMUSIC to help you.
  • Do not log out and edit anonymously when you are blocked from editing. It's not just your username that is blocked - it's you as a person.
  • I can't help but notice the parallel between your username and a majority of your edits. Wikipedia is not the place for you to write you own autobiography. Quite the opposite, it's considered a Conflict of Interest to be here strictly to write about yourself, or merely be here primarily to promote someone else.

In short, if you don't stop with how you've been editing, you're account is going to be indefinitely blocked. Please stop. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 16:31, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
