Edit summaries
[edit]Hi, and thanks for all the work you've done to revive WikiProject Skepticism.
I notice that it's relatively rare for you to leave meaningful edit summaries for your edits. I implore you to try to improve on this front. Thanks. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 07:50, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. I started by doing it but gave up at some point. I'll work on that next time.Karlpoppery (talk) 14:17, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the help with controlling the Hordes of G11
[edit]I've noticed that we've both been tagging for CSD quite a few pages at the same time. For this I'd like to thank you for your help with dealing with the oddly large amounts of Spam that some people are trying to get onto the Wiki. MuganiHakHakHak (talk) 06:39, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you too, MuganiHakHakHak! I'm going for tonight, I leave the rest of them to you. KarlPoppery (talk) 06:48, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Bianca Kmiec
[edit]Hello Karlpoppery. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Bianca Kmiec, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Subject might be important/significant (see also Google News/Books hits for this subject) / use WP:PROD or WP:AFD instead to allow other editors to participate in this decision. Thank you. SoWhy 07:34, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
Rollback granted
[edit]Hi Karlpoppery. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! – Juliancolton | Talk 13:15, 13 May 2017 (UTC)
Pending changes reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

From 92.233.7.34
[edit]Regarding one or more of your recent contributions to Triple parentheses have been undone because they did not appear constructive.
What I added to the top of the page was: Note: Article does not comply with Wikipedia rules: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Help:Introduction_to_referencing_with_Wiki_Markup/1 Sources provided are not a reliable source.
The article has multiple mic.com sources which are not considered reliable. The entire article is baseless opinions and conjecture.
The only information in the article that's correct is the removal of the 'coincidence detector' app from the google store, backed up by multiple news articles.
My only other choice is to remove all of the un-sourced information, which a mod would've considered defacing. That's why I only left a note at the top for someone to handle it appropriately.
Can you explain how the disclaimer at the top that I added is not considered constructive? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.233.7.34 (talk) 05:26, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Who says Mic (media company) fails our criteria? In any case wee don't do disclaimers, the article talk page is the appropriate place. Doug Weller talk 05:40, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- I reverted your edit because you defaced the page with parentheses. If you have a problem with the article, I suggest you address it on the article talk page. KarlPoppery (talk) 05:48, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
Neanderthal
[edit]Hello, I'm 50.130.251.28. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Neanderthal have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
- Note that I actually gave a valid reason for my edits, namely the inclusion of duplicate arguments in the template call. Hence, your revert must be vandalism. 50.130.251.28 (talk) 22:42, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
- @50.130.251.28: I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to revert that at all! I must have pressed the wrong button. KarlPoppery (talk) 22:48, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
