Article for The Tim Ferriss Show
[edit]Hi TipsyElephant, I'm trying to create an article for Tim Ferriss's podcast, The Tim Ferriss Show. I see that you are a member of WP:Podcast and that you have started several new articles about podcasts. I hope you'll have an interest in looking at the draft I have posted here. Would you consider moving it to main space? I really appreciate your help, and am happy to hear any feedback you have about the article. Coyoteadventures (talk) 15:41, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @Coyoteadventures:, I'd gladly help with your draft. I've moved it to draftspace (here) for further development. The podcast is notable, but the current sources don't demonstrate that. I'll add some reference ideas to the talk page. I've deleted the notable guests section because these are nearly always arbitrary and promotional. Guests can either be listed in an episode table or if there is enough news coverage they can be discussed in prose. Much of the current prose sound quite promotional and fluffy. Keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encylopedia not a means of promotion. Give WP:PEACOCK a read. TipsyElephant (talk) 00:51, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- I've added the reference ideas to the talk page. If you're having trouble with paywalls just enter the URLs into Archive.Today. Summarize the sources in your own words and stick to facts without flowery language. TipsyElephant (talk) 01:42, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for your feedback, TipsyElephant. It has been really helpful. I updated the draft using many of the sources you recommended, and I did my best to remove information that felt promotional. Would you be willing to take another look? If you think it's ready to publish, please feel free to go ahead. And if you think it needs more work, I would be happy to hear your thoughts. Thanks again, Coyoteadventures (talk) 15:11, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for all your help, TipsyElephant. The page looks great! Coyoteadventures (talk) 14:17, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Coyoteadventures: you're welcome, glad I could help! I hope you stick around and work on other topics that interest you. Let me know if you want to collaborate on any other articles about podcasts. TipsyElephant (talk) 01:22, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. Feel free to take a "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" if you prefer. :) BOZ (talk) 18:26, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
