2015 World Rowing Championships
You replaced the medal table to before the summary, after it had been earlier moved to a position consistent with other articles of the series, with the explanation I should 'look at other events - table before summary.
I did indeed look at other events, such as 2015 World Championships in Athletics, 2015 World Taekwondo Championships and 2015 Badminton World Championships - all of which, for example, have table after summary. In other words there is NO consensus on this, and absent such a consensus, the historic precedent of the other World Rowing Champs articles should have been maintained. Frankly this just looks like edit warring and personal preference. There should be a call for views and a consensus reached - saying "we can start now" when frankly yuou mean "I want to start now" seems not terrible honest.
I have not moved the table back to the traditional position at this stage, but I have to ask you to seek a consensus for the change, or I may have to revert it. Mpjmcevoybeta (talk) 23:54, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
euro tie-breakers
you messed up with the Czech basketball team, but it is true now anyway. quite simply, as long as Ukraine could go 0-5, there could have been a five way tie at 3-2 amongst the other teams and goal differential could still change. And based on the games still running I checked and it was still possible for all five to finish at 3-2, until UKR won. same thing keeps coming up in other groups, people keep jumping to clinch people who have not yet.18abruce (talk) 18:08, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

maybe it only needs to be noted if looks like it might happen, or as some smaller brief note in the standings. Looks awkward and confusing when I look at it now.18abruce (talk) 12:11, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
- yeah that works much better than what I did, thanks.18abruce (talk) 16:22, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
PERSONDATA is deprecated
You keep removing State and adding "United States" as place of birth for people like Jerome Randle. In addition to being incorrect (you would keep state and add country if looking to add country) the persondata template has been phased out. You'd be better off deleting these instead of changing what's in them. Rikster2 (talk) 13:37, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
Nacho - Order of sections
Hi there K, alles gut (formerly known as AlwaysLearning here)?
Hey, you can ask anyone at WP:FOOTY, PL should now rank AFTER stats and honours. I happen to agree with you (PL last), but the majority says otherwise because PL has words and sentences like club career and international career, and honours and stats are just columns and numbers. But don't worry, I won't revert your changes.

September 2015
Hi. I've noticed your recent edits and my main concern about them is the removal of "team" part of medal_template addition to the Infobox template in basketball related pages, just like you did to Nando de Colo for example. What is the problem with the older versions containing that specific information?--AirWolf talk 17:50, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
- I'm gonna be brief. Why not offer readers at least one link to player's national team; if he/she has won many medals, others with the exclusion of Olympic rosters, should have just "Team" mention with no link as it was previously put. It also avoids problem of not having link to national team in article, but there's small posibillity for that. Look for example at Miloš Teodosić article; also it feature under 21 teams.--AirWolf talk 19:14, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
- Feel free to start a discussion at WP:WikiProject Basketball as we clearly don't have a clear consensus how to deal with it. Bye.--AirWolf talk 20:00, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
"2nd place"
Can we do something about the IP address who insists on putting the word "place" after the number in the infobox? Surely we can't be around 24/7 to constantly revert him. Italia2006 (talk) 16:10, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Mike Taylor (basketball coach)
The article Mike Taylor (basketball coach) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (biographies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you,
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Help
Hi, how are u, I think I need your help for something since you are more experienced to deal with sport articles, the following pages got deleted by wikipedia today Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship, Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship and Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship. I still can't believe how these articles even got nominated for deletion in first place, I didn't really take the deletion requests serious, first I want to know if it's possible to save those pages ? (I think it took time for me to collect those info and I don't have a backup) and second how nobody even cared to vote in favor/against of deletion. Mohsen1248 (talk) 19:34, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

issue on german wikipedia
I tried to fix a problem with a picture throughout wikipedia, on this page [1] has a picture that is for a river in Quetico Provincial Park which is incorrectly used on the page I linked on german wikipedia. I removed it from there but my change was reverted, and I don't know how to explain the problem in german.18abruce (talk) 15:57, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- I removed the file from the wrong page twice, but it gets reverted. I need a way to express in german that, "the Paul Kane sketch is of Quetico Provincial Park, not this location." It is a mistake that was uncovered recently when the original was found, and is complicated because there is more than one river in Ontario with the same name.18abruce (talk) 16:29, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks I will try it. It would help if Quetico had a page on german wikipedia I guess. Took a shot at the Serbian names today, hope I was close.18abruce (talk) 16:35, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- Kept having edit conflicts with someone else on the Spanish game and gave up. I think I still would have missed the accent on Garcia though.18abruce (talk) 16:41, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

I want your opinion about WL/WGP pools composition
Hello! I think World League(WL)/World Grand Prix(WGP) article should keep original pool composition from FIVB announcement, WL WGP. The pools composition order by ranking, but I didn't agree. Here are my reason
- 1. Many competition pages didn't use ranking order like European championship didn't use European ranking order. The competition had a format(can see in it regulation) of pools composition which didn't order by ranking, the article had kept the original composition. Also in Asian championship which had a format, too(from regulation).
- 2. I have seen a format of WGP group1 in 2014 and 2015. Both had the same format to change week1' pools composition to week2 and week3, but I wasn't sure. Now, I am sure that there are the format of WL/WGP pools composition. Because the 2016 pools composition of WGP group1 and all groups of WL use the same format. I made the table in order to compare the pools composition in User:Noncommittalp/sandbox Please visit my sendbox to see it, you will see the relation. The format in 2016 a little bit change from 2014/2015 WGP. If you want to know, I can show you later.
- 3. The World ranking didn't relate anything in WL/WGP's pools composition unlike both men's and women's World championships.
- 4. The old competition articles, especially, didn't denote the World ranking except the World championship article which use the ranking directly. And, I can understand why they didn't denote the ranking, because there aren't relation.
- 5. FIVB sport regulation use the position of the pools composition to match up schedule by Berger table (wikipedia has only French article).
- So, please consider, and tell me how do you think? Thank you.

handball tie-breaker
if RSA beats Iran (by say 6) and Japan wins their final game there is a three-way tie at 3 wins with each having one head-to-head win, GD would be JPN +4. RSA -2, IRN -2.18abruce (talk) 18:48, 20 November 2015 (UTC)
- Correct, my fault. Kante4 (talk) 19:41, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Olympic Handball
Please do not revert my edit to Handball Olympic qualification again. BRN is Brunei in the handball template. It was actually Bahrain who qualified for the Qualification Playoff by finishing third in Asia. The handball codes apparently don't match up with the IOC codes, but we need to use the handball codes so it displays right. Smartyllama (talk) 18:25, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
- (In response to my talk page) Fair enough, never said you did add it originally. Just wanted to give you a heads up seeing as you reverted it without explanation and I wanted to let you know I had it right. These trigrammes can be confusing sometimes. Smartyllama (talk) 20:19, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
Terrible news for Real Madrid, I think I updated the article accordingly and without taking any sides (I was rooting for Cádiz but not like this, I also wanted CF Villanovense to win of course). Now, we have to wait to see what Cádiz will do, it's obvious they will want to take advantage of the legal possibility and denounce this.
Best regards, from Portugal --84.90.219.128 (talk) 23:25, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
Puerto Rico women's national handball team
Dear Kante4, before everithing let me say how i appreciate your huge effort in major sports competitions, including handball, but i can't help but ask why you reverted my wikitables in this article and in the Cuba Women's National Handball Team as well. Just to inform you why i put those tables that way, leaving tournaments prior to 2015 just with the position, and the competitions from 2015 with wins, loses and goals, is the difficulty in collect correct information on past events, Many thanks Argemiro1975 (talk) 14:49, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
- thanks for make it clear, for me i think the best way is to put the tables from 2015 on, since i am sure the data is correct because most of the events are articles created by miself, and i can assure you all PATHF and IHF competitions and major multi sports events those teams and all PATHF teams take part in the next couple years will be there in the same way forming comprehensible tables.
Hope to interact with you more times. Argemiro1975 (talk) 15:21, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
Handball world Cup
I am sure you make a lot of effort editing the page, but please do not prevent the future. Even though Denmark was in the lead by 6 with a minute to go, it is not allowed to "give" them the victory before the match is officially over. However, keep up the good work — Preceding unsigned comment added by Claus96 (talk • contribs) 21:19, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi, Regarding your revertion of my edit... It doesn't matter if team has 1 or 100 NBA championships, these boxes should be consistent with every other NBA team's article. Please try to discuss first and find a compromise before reverting such edits in the future. – Sabbatino (talk) 20:05, 23 December 2015 (UTC)

Macedonia National Handball Team
Can you explain why you have deleted the recent call ups section? Of-course it is needed because those players could get a call up for the Olympic qualifying tournament, olympic tournament and future world cup and euro cup games. It should be noted that those players represented the country in the past year. Please revert your edits on this section. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by King-Aleksandar (talk • contribs) 11:48, 28 December 2015 (UTC)

Germany National Handball Team
Why are you deleting stuff I update without explanation? We could undo our changes forever if we kept this going on.
- the importance of adding a reserve players list before the European championship is to know which players could still make it into the championships or not. As an example: Silvio Heinevetter is not nominated although he played a lot for the German team but he is still in the reserve so he might be able to replace a player before or during the championships. This happened to both Allendorf and Sellin (both were in the reserve squad and are now gonna play in the championship. The trainer still has until the 16th of January to submit his final squad. Nevertheless the changes I make in Wiki are related to other sources. The link I add from the DHB sites also a reserve squad.
- as for the flag before the name of the trainer: this is used with many other teams Qatar, Tunisia, Austria...
