Your edits to Datalex weren't in line with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy which mandates an impartial tone in articles. Your edits read like a prospectus or company report rather than a Wikipedia article (Datalex is a market leader, From the outside looking in ... the company is being run to come out of this challenging time in a good position, Niall is an expert in financial strategy), and thus aren't really appropriate for Wikipedia. Additionally, many claims which do not seem to come from a neutral point of view (NPOV) are unreferenced and would need reliable citations to remain in the article (over one billion shoppers covering every corner of the globe, From the outside looking in ... the company is being run to come out of this challenging time in a good position). All of that, plus your username (which alone could get you blocked for breach of the username policy regarding companies), suggests you are looking to add promotional material.

Before you continue to edit, I suggest you read the Wikipedia policies on NPOV, conflict of interest editing and paid contributions as well as taking a glance at the Manual of Style that is used for writing articles. If you do, as it seems, have a conflict of interest, you should declare it and stop editing the affected articles. You can still help the information be updated by proposing changes via the talk page. If you continue to edit Datalex in a persistent and non-neutral manner, you could find yourself blocked (see Common rationales for blocks).

Additionally, you might find the guidelines on good practice for talk pages useful for when communicating with other users.

I'll edit the article using a neutral point of view as you mentioned and change the username if that's what you think I should do.

Hi,

First off, yes, you should change your username - see here for what changes would and would not be suitable.

Second, I would strongly advise that you don't directly edit Datalex with large and/or controversial edits. These will likely be reverted (or greatly cut down), will just get on people's nerves, and won't help anyone. If you have a conflict of interest (which, from your activity and username, seems likely) you need to declare it and follow Wikipedia protocols, else you'll probably end up blocked. If you maintain you don't, that's fine, but you could get reported anyway, and then you're more likely to be made to follow restrictions. Also something to think about is the fact that anything of notability about Datalex which is publicly available will probably end up on the Wikipedia article in the end, good or bad.

Either way, I can help you update company info, so long as you can provide reliable, secondary sources that can be used to verify information. While some of the information you added in your edits wasn't overly controversial (like number of employees), it was unverified.

We made changes to the content that we'd like to add with a neutral point of view. Basically, we don't delete or edit what is on Wikipedia now, but adding more information. If you could have a look and let me know if the content is appropriate, that would be great. We used a comparison of information in the Wayback Machine and the current Datalex.com to demonstrate the change in executive management. And add sources for every statement. If there are any information/ source you think is not appropriate, please highlight and we will see if we could find another one/ [Promotional content removed]

Regarding the requested additions to Datalex article above,

In April of 2019 Sean Corkery became Chief Executive Officer. - The reference provided says that Corkery became Acting CEO in May and was confirmed as CEO in October. This was pretty much in the article before, but I've expanded it a little.
Datalex has taken steps to improve its operations, financial accounting and reporting, and market transparency. - Could be NPOV, would need rephrasing and independent secondary sources (not company reports) for it to be included.
The Chairman’s Statement and Chief Executive Statement in the 2019 Financial Report for a detailed description of the steps being taken by Datalex. - Unneeded and non-NPOV, if readers want to know, they can find it on the company website. Detailed descriptions of company policy/achievements/ambitions are not suitable for their Wikipedia entry.
In November 2019, David Hargaden assumed the role of Non-executive Chairman of the Board. - Content added to article
David has a background of travel related experience and board management experience. - Irrelevant, could be non-NPOV.
In October 2019 Christine Ourmieres-Widener joined the Datalex Board as an Independent Non-executive Director. She has airline experience including stints as CEO of Flybe and CEO of CityJet. - Second sentence non-NPOV. New non-exec directors rarely warrant more than a mention (and these are far from exceptional), so that's what I've put in. I can see details like this getting cut out later on to be honest.
Mike McGearty joined the Datalex board as a Non-Executive Director as Lead Independent Non-Executive Director in December 2019. Mr. McGearty has worked in the travel sector as the CEO of CarTrawler. - See 6
Other board members include John Bateson Non-Executive Director and Peter Lennon Non-Executive Director. Both have served on the Datalex Board and provide current as well as a historical perspective to Datalex. - Non-notable, not added.
Niall O’Sullivan was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Datalex plc in June 2019. Niall has a background in financial strategy, transformation, accounting and compliance in high tech industries. Prior to joining Datalex, Niall was Finance Director, EMEA at Google Inc. where he led accounting, financial compliance and controls for the EMEA region. Niall has also led global finance operations and executed complex finance transformation projects for technology PLCs such as Pearson PLC, Vodafone PLC and for corporations such as Oracle and Dell. Within Vodafone, Niall was CFO for Eircell, Vodafone Ireland and Vodafone Portugal prior to leading Global Finance Transformation and Operations for all Vodafone worldwide subsidiaries. - Most of this past the first sentence reads like a CV. The first sentence was already covered in the article, and both the sources provided are published in May not June.
Mr. O’Sullivan has taken on initiatives to improve reporting, implement new systems and ensure adherence to accounting practices - Not notable, non-NPOV, also source provided is unsuitable as its a Datalex report - hardly impartial.
Using the Internet Archive Wayback Machine [ https://archive.org/web/ ] to compare the company executive roster from October 2018 to the currently published executive roster at www.datalex.com one can see that significant changes have been made at the executive level of the company - Unneccesary, non-notable and probably non-NPOV too. Not included.
On July 8, 2020 the company provided the following guidance – Datalex expects to report adjusted EBITDA growth in 2020. Based on current assumptions adjusted EBITDA on a constant currency basis (see notes below regarding basis of preparation) of $0.75 million to $1.5 million is expected during 2020, compared to adjusted EBITDA of $0.5 million in 2019. - Already covered in article.
On July 14, 2020 the company completed the legal and financial process of relisting its stock on the Euronext Dublin. Trading began that day. - Already covered in article
In a November 20, 2020 Guidance and Trading Update Datalex announced the following: “The Group’s earnings performance for the year to date is ahead of expectations, despite very challenging ongoing market conditions caused by COVID-19 that have negatively impacted our total revenue. Based on current assumptions, the Company expects to report adjusted EBITDA on a constant currency basis of $3.75 million to $4.5 million during 2020, compared to previous Company guidance of adjusted EBITDA of $0.75 million to $1.5 million.” - Already covered in article.
Datalex announced on Friday 4 December 2020 that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Travel and Hospitality Competency status. This designation by Amazon indicates that Datalex has demonstrated experience and expertise helping customers transform their business from behind-the-scenes operational efficiencies to guest-facing customer experiences. - Non-notable and second sentence seems non-NPOV. Also, primary reference from Amazon not suitable.
As expressed in Datalex’s public statements COVID-19 is having a negative impact across all travel industry components including suppliers like Datalex. Datalex is taking the necessary steps to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 through aggressive resource management. - Non-NPOV, buzz-phrases like "aggressive resource management" just makes it sound like a promotion.

As for information in the infobox, from what I can see you've only actually proposed two changes, one to revenue and one to employees. I've already added the revenue but I've searched the company report and I can't find a single mention of the number of employees (if there is one, you need to give me a page number). I haven't changed it in article because, if there's debate as to the correct number, I'd err on the side of leaving it until there's a clearer answer. It's not a super important piece of information, so I'd rather an old but reliable source to a new unsure one.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll improve the draft basing on this.

Just wanted to check re published sources that are in-depth, reliable, secondary and strictly independent. In the article, there are multiple sources that are from notable publishers e.g. Washington Post, NBC News, The Guardian. They have thorough information about the subject and reliable.In order to get approval, should I remove the other sources and only keep those that meet the requirements. Or you also think the sources that I listed here are not qualified?

One more thing, there is a note saying "This article contains paid contributions. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page." Can you help point out what is the specific actions I need to take for the clean up?

PaykanArtCar is a non-profit organization that “unites the talents of contemporary Iranian artists with a beloved symbol of national pride - the Paykan automobile - to advocate for the restoration of human rights and dignity for all in Iran no matter their race, religion, gender or their sexual orientation”. The mission is to use the Iraniani-made Paykan car as a canvas for talented, marginalized Iranian artists to highlight human rights issues in Iran.
Paykan was founded in September 2021 by former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Mark Wallace, and Dr. Hiva Feizi, a strategic communications and international affairs expert focused on Iran’s soft power and diplomacy. The first iteration of the PaykanArtCar was focused on LGBTQ+ rights, and made its debut on October 4, 2021 in Miami at the Human Rights Foundation’s Oslo Freedom Forum
The Paykan automobile was the first fully manufactured car in Iran by Iran National from 1967 to 1979. After the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Iran National changed to IranKhodro and continued manufacturing a much more simplified version of Paykan until 2005.
The Paykan was a Hillman Hunter built under licence and priced for middle-class Iranians.
In May of 2021, PaykanArtCar Inc. acquired a historic Paykan Hillman Hunter which was gifted to Romanian dictator, Nicolae Ceaușescu, by Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, the former Shah of Iran in 1974 as a token of the two countries’ close ties.
In 2021, PaykanArtCar commissioned Alireza Shojaian, an Iranian LGBTQ+ artist living in exile in Paris to paint this iconic vehicle to highlight the persecution of LGBTQ+ community in Iran and seeks to “give voice to those who are silenced by the Iranian government’s systematic repression”. The paintwork created by Shojaian was inspired by Iran’s popular Shahnameh (Book of Kings) written by Ferdowsi in the 10th century. Shojaian uses one of the most prominent tales of Shahnameh, the story of Rostam and Shaban, to narrate the 2021 murder of 20-year-old Iranian gay man, Ali Fazeli Monfared, who was beheaded by members of his family in an honor killing.
In March 2022, the organization put out a ‘Call for Artists’ and is in the process of commissioning a female Iranian artist for the second iteration of the Paykan car, which will center around women’s rights in Iran.
PaykanArtCar was awarded the 2022 Vaclav Havel International Prize for Creative Dissent by the Human Rights Foundation (HRF) in May 2022.
PaykanArtCar has been on exhibitions in Canada
The car was supposed to be displayed at ‘Asia Now’ Fair in Paris but the Asia Now cancelled it at last minute
